The SpaceOur loft is modern, stylish and inviting. It has been architect-designed and it is beautifully finished and fitted. The space is comfortable, airy and bright. It is fully air-conditioned so that you will be cool in summer and warm in winter. The loft is part of a building at the rear of a family home. Guest AccessYou will have a fully equipped kitchenette that includes a small fridge, a microwave, a toaster and a coffee-maker. There is no oven or cook top but there is a gas kettle BBQ exclusively for your use. Please note that there is a staircase and that the living/sleeping area is upstairs and the bathroom/laundry area is downstairs. Downstairs is also an additional sitting area and lots of boardgames that guests are welcome to use. Interaction with GuestsWe will be available to guests as much as they would like. Very happy to provide recommendations and advice if required and equally happy to leave guests to themselves if that's what you would prefer. The NeighborhoodSubiaco is hard to beat if you would like easy access to shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and the natural beauty of King's Park. Just two blocks away you will find the fabulous Juanita's bar, Lady of Ro restaurant, Boucla cafe and Jean-Claude patisserie. Within minutes there are dozens more places to grab a coffee, a drink or a bite to eat. On Saturdays the lively Subiaco Farmers Market takes place at the local primary school, a 5 minute walk away. The Subiaco Theatre Centre is close by and the Regal Theatre is 15-20 minutes on foot. There is an extensive retail area a few streets away, with plenty of shops where you can buy groceries and other supplies. You can ride bikes to King's Park and the Swan River, where there are dozens of cycle paths to choose from. And its just a train ride to the beautiful pristine beach of Cottesloe. We are also ideally located if you are in Perth on business. Subiaco is just a short bus or train ride from the CBD, allowing you to enjoy the quiet, peaceful surrounds of a residential neighbourhood with easy access to the city for your business needs. We are also close to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, King Edward Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital and the University of Western Australia. Getting AroundWe are close to a number of bus routes and the Perth-Fremantle train line. It's a 15 minute ride into the CBD on a bus (and with a choice of 3 routes you'll never have to wait long) and about 30 minutes to Fremantle on the train. There is also a bus service that will take you to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and to the University of Western Australia. We're a short walk from King Edward Hospital and within easy reach of Princess Margaret Hospital too. Other Things to NoteThere is reverse cycle aircon that makes the loft very comfortable even in the hottest weather. There is a new washing machine and dryer and an iron and ironing board for your use. There is also a hairdryer.

The SpaceThe cottage has a queen-size bed upstairs. Please note that the stairs are quite steep. We can arrange an extra single and/or double mattress if you need one and there is a sofa bed in the lounge. There is a cot available for a baby. There is air-conditioning and wi-fi is provided free of charge. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas top stove, electric oven and microwave. There is a washing machine and iron and ironing board are available. A coffee machine with pods provided is available for your use. Fresh linen and towels are provided. The NeighborhoodThe cottage is in a quiet leafy street in the old part of Subiaco which is one of the closest residential areas to the Perth CBD and all its major attractions. It is close to the major hospitals including Princess Margaret Children's Hospital, King Edward. Sir Charles Gairdner and St John of God. King's Park with its cycle and walking paths is a 10 minute walk from the cottage as is Rokeby Road which has numerous cafes, restaurants and shops. Nearby smaller parks include Subiaco Theatre Gardens, Lake Jualbup (Shenton Park Lake) and Rosalie Park. The Region The city of Perth is known as one of the most isolated in the world, mainly due to the sheer size of this beautiful country of ours, Australia. This isolation ensures we have some of the most pristine landscape in the world. Our multitude of endless white sandy beaches are a truly wonderful way to see us at our best, and only a 15 minute drive from the centre of the city. Perth is situated on a large expanse of river land called the Swan River, which meanders comfortably inland from the historic port city of Fremantle. Perth City itself is situated some 15 kms upstream from Fremantle and the river then continues it's way up through our beautiful Swan Valley, complete with it's vibrant wine industry, and then into the picturesque Perth hills area. Getting AroundThe bus into the city and other destinations is less than 2 minutes away. The closest train station into the city or down to the beach at Cottesloe and Fremantle is a short 5-10 minute walk. The simplest way to get here from the airport is by taxi which costs about $50. Other Things to NoteWe do not charge a cleaning fee but do ask you to leave the cottage clean and tidy.

It will take 5 minutes to walk to Shenton Park Village where you will find a well stocked convenience store (IGA), chemist, gift store and well known Lawleys Cafe and other specialty stores. We are also located close to West Perth, Nedlands and Crawley, the new Childrens Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital ( 5 minute walk across the park) and The University of Western Australia (UWA) (5 Min by local bus). Shenton Park is a leafy green suburb close to Subiaco and the Perth CBD. And there are many of them around Park Vista Executive: Rosalie Park across the road, Kings Park, Swan River / Matilda Bay, the University of Western Australia, restaurants, cafes, all major hospitals and many other interesting things to those who are here only for short term. Interaction with GuestsWe leave in the same area and we meet our guests personally. We just love talking to them about the purpose of their visit, providing information about what is the most appropriate for their visit to Perth or Australia. The NeighborhoodShenton Park is very unique area of Perth: inhabited mostly with families with children, surrounded by many parks, very quite but so close to all amenities. Minimum stay is 4 nights but if we have a gap we can accept shorter booking as well. Getting AroundLocal shopping centre is in the same street, walking distance. The bus station is just around the corner, 4-5 min walk. Railway station is at the end of the road, 10-15min walk. Other Things to NoteWe love children and they are most welcomed. We can provide port a cot, high chair and even some toys. We expect that parents will take care of any damages that can be done by children.

Interaction with GuestsOur properties are all fully "self catered" - once you arrive and settle in we won't interrupt you with cleaning and servicing. If you would like your bed made and your house cleaned, please let us know and we would be happy to come and do your housework for you at a cost of $40 per hour. Strictly non smoking and sorry but no parties or noisy gatherings. We like to respect our neighbours' rights to a peaceful life in beautiful Subiaco :) The NeighborhoodWithout fail, the best part about Subiaco, and in particular this area of Subiaco, is the close proximity to all the services you could want or need. Getting AroundBuses travel regularly along Thomas Street which is very close to the house and is the main road running alongside Kings Park. Buses also run along Rokeby Road so it is very easy to hop on a bus and go several stops to the shops, if you dont want to stroll there. Other Things to NoteThe house is set back from the road via a driveway and is one of 3 townhouses, with parking for one vehicle in the front of the property and also street parking available. Rokeby Townhouse is located centrally and close to 5 major hospitals – St John of God, King Edward Memorial, Princess Margaret Children's Hospital, Sir Charles Gardiner and Royal Perth. It is a pleasant walk to Patterson Stadium (formerly Subiaco Oval), 2km to the Perth CBD and 4km to delightful Matilda Bay and the University of Western Australia. Also just a short distance away are the Perth Convention Centre, the new Perth Arena complex, the Perth Theatre Centre, His Majesty's Theatre, the Perth Museum and the Art Gallery of Western Australia.

Subiaco is the home and hub of AFL football here in WA. Here you will find plenty of shops (low to high end), a variety of restaurants (dine-in, take away and fast food), trendy bars and popular nightclubs. You could catch a show at the Regal Theatre, a movie at the cinema or watch a game of AFL football at Domain Stadium. The shuttle runs from the Domestic terminal so for those coming in on international flights you'll need to catch the free shuttle to the domestic terminal first. Get off the shuttle in the city at The Kings Perth Hotel (Stop 'D') and walk to St George's Terrace to catch a Transperth bus (24 or 25 are best) which will drop you right outside the house. - catch Transperth buses from the airport to the house (use the route finder function on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Maps to work this out)

You can get to the beach by train in 12 minutes or the City in 10 minutes. Fremantle is 20 minutes by train. Getting AroundYou can get to the house by bus to the city from the airport which will take you about 20-30 minutes. Then you can take another bus or train to Subiaco. The walk from the train station is 12 minutes whilst the walk from the bus is 5 minutes. If you come by cab it will take approx the same time and cost approx $40-50

There are restaurants, cafés, a bank, post office, chemist, bakery and supermarket all within a 5 minute walk. Bus no. 24, 25 and 97 are at the door and the Fremantle to Perth rail line 10 mins away. Subiaco is a handy 20 minute walk or the 97 bus is at the door will take you from the university via the hospitals to Subiaco by my home. The convenience to everything is why I live here.
