The SpacePrice is based on a per-person rate; we will happily work with you to reserve the entire bunkhouse should you need it for a larger group. Extra accommodations may be available in our own home with advance notice, but we reserve the right to say no to requests. The Owl & Eagle was created out of a completely renovated milking parlor that dates back to the original owners of the homestead, around 1915 or so. We now offer 3 comfortable bunk beds that have immediate access to a full bath and an adorable kitchenette/bar, plus plenty of space for lounging. We specialize in hosting cyclists that are traveling from near and far—we offer tools, a compressor, a bike rack, and plenty of security on our gated property. For those of you seeking even more rustic accommodations or a little more privacy, we also offer a treehouse for 2! Guest AccessGuests are given access to and are encouraged to roam our 63.2 acre property set in the visually stunning Willamette Valley. You'll have your own bunkhouse and full bath, access to laundry facilities if you need them, a kitchenette and bar area, and access to a workshop area for bike maintenance. We welcome very well-behaved dogs on a case by case basis and reserve the right to refuse any dogs that harass any of our animals or poultry. Interaction with GuestsWe love our guests! We're happy to interact with you as much or as little as you like, and are enthusiastic about providing you with information about our area, including directions to local wineries, restaurants, and other places of interest. We want you to love it here as much as we do! The NeighborhoodWe're located right on HWY 18 and have great access to Portland and the coast. There's not much in the way of a neighborhood, but we're right in the Oregon wine country and you can cycle to several wineries directly from our house. We're happy to provide recommendations. Getting AroundWhat's great about our place is that you don't have to leave the main road and risk being run over by a log truck! HWY 18 is the main thoroughfare out to the coast, which is why we're such a popular and convenient place for our guests to stop and stay a while. We're 1 hour from Portland, 1.5 from the Airport (on a bad day!) and just 35 minutes from the coast and Lincoln City. Other Things to NoteThe Owl & Eagle is a working farm and we have chickens, cats, a horse and dog that roam the property and who are all very friendly. Our place is probably not the best for anyone with severe seasonal or pet allergies. We welcome very well-behaved dogs on a case by case basis and reserve the right to refuse any dogs that harass any of our animals or poultry.
