The SpaceQuiet room has a double bed, desk, and TV. One or two twin beds can be added to the room if you need the room to accommodate up to 4 guests. You may use the kitchen. Breakfast provided- cereals, fruits, yogurt, juices, coffee, tea, or, make some eggs and toast. Enjoy your coffee on the cozy back deck, listening to the birds. You are welcome to sit in the living/dining room- there is a tv there. There is NO Smoking inside the house, but you may smoke outside in designated areas. Guest AccessWifi. Please try to park in front of my house, in the direction of traffic. The train station is close if you want to take a trip from here. The SpaceThe house is about 2,900 SF, on an acre land, very bright with Southern exposure backyard, very entertaining. Located close to the Hamptons and Orient Point. Fantastic beaching, boating, fishing and golfing. 5 minuets by car to the beach and many attractive vineyards. Tangier Outlet Center, largest mall on Long Island., water park and Aquarium Atlantis in near town, Riverhead. The backyard is very private with 13-hole natural grass mini golf course. BBQ, fire pit and lots of sun. Guest AccessThere is a key less access at the front door. Special access code will be given to you at the reservation. Interaction with GuestsI live in the house, but I can be out of the house if you make a reservation for a longer stay. If you want to book entire house you should do it through this listing, but there is an option of renting one or more bedrooms you would have to do it through my other listings for individual bedrooms. If you rent just one bedroom or more and there are other guests in the house you would be notified and given the names of other gusts. You are free to use and share all amenities of the house and the large backyard, pool, BBQ, fire pit and mini golf course. The NeighborhoodVery quiet clean and safe, close to everything, beach, parks, shopping and entertainment. There are live bands playing every night on our Smith Point beach through out the summer season. Getting AroundYou need a car to move around Long Island. You could ride a bicycle to the beach (most convenience) or take a car and pay small fee for the parking. Other Things to NoteThe house is very entertaining, great for parties or quiet relaxation on a very private backyard by the pool. You can play (or practice) golf on the 13-hole natural-grass mini-golf course in the backyard. You can use BBQ or fire pit for romantic nights.

The Space1-Bedroom within a luxury house in Shirley, on Long Island New York with keyless entrance. Very quiet and private real vacation home on one-acre. Use of kitchen L/R and F/R and great backyard with I/G pool. Located close to the Hamptons and Orient Point. The code will be given to you at the reservation. Interaction with GuestsI live in the house in my upstairs suite, but weekends I am mostly out of the house. The NeighborhoodVery quiet street in the most desirable Tangier area of Shirley, NY (Eastern Long Island). The beach is just 3-mile away with daily live music in the season with beach restaurant. Fishing is allowed from the beach. Shirley is a gate to the Hamptons. We have within walking distance 2 huge parks plus the beach with board walk. The SpaceSituated about 1.5 hours from New York City, you can easily reach our cozy beach cottage by train or car. By train: take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to Mastic-Shirley (followed by a quick 1 mile cab ride); by car the house is accessible via the Long Island Expressway (LIE; exit 68) and Sunrise Highway. Fire Island and Ocean beaches can be accessed by foot, bike, or car by crossing over the nearby Smith Point Bridge. We recommend taking a car, taxi or bike as our house is located about 4 miles from Smith Point beach (also called Smith Point County Park). The house is located between Forge River and the famous Mastic Seafood, and a 25-minute drive will bring you to Long Island wine country (in the North Fork) or the Hamptons. Two guest rooms are available for weekday rental for up to four (4) adult guests in a tastefully furnished house with a large backyard. Occasionally a weekend may be available - check the calendar for availability. Note that we prefer to rent to adults only. The manor house functions as a museum displaying furnishings and paintings dating back to the early 1700’s and a family burial site. - Floyd Estate Museum: Homestead of eight generations of the Floyd family including William Floyd, signer of the Declaration of Independence. The Estate features a 25-room manor house built in 1718 and has over 35 acres of protected forests, fields, marshes, trails, and a family burial site. - Long Island Wineries (in the North Fork) - Antique Shopping: Barntique Village - Splish Splash Water Park (opening day is typically in late May) - Atlantis Aquarium - Mastic Seafood - Suffolk county beaches, amusement parks, wineries, parks, aquariums, historic sites, zoos, lighthouses - The Hamptons (Westhampton, Southampton, Easthampton) shopping, dining, golfing all accessible by car or taxi (25-50 minutes) ACCOMMODATION, PRICING & TERMS: Rates are seasonal and based on occupancy (max occupancy 4) and number of rooms being used. Guests staying longer than 4 nights must agree to allow owners access to house for maintenance and checking on the house's overall condition. Owners will notify guests of their visit 12+ hours in advance. HOUSE RULES - IMPORTANT 1) No pets allowed inside or out. 2) No smoking. If you smoke, please do so outside away from any open windows, and dispose of finished cigarettes. 3) NO SHOES inside the house, ever (please leave your shoes in the front entryway). 4) Don't drag dirt into the house if you happen to be barefoot in the yard. 5) Do not flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilet. The pipes in Long Island are not as big as in New York city! In fact, it's best to flush twice when doing a #2. 6) Please turn A/C off when you leave the house; turn off A/C unit behind the kitchen at night time (note: okay to leave living room fans on). 7) If you use the BBQ, make sure to turn the valves on the gas tank off, after turning the actual BBQ off. After the BBQ cools down, put the cover back on. BBQ tools are located on the back shelf in the laundry area, inside a black case. 8) Parties are not allowed. Respect our neighbors by lowering loud music after 11pm. 9) Keep the property and all furnishings in good order and treat the home with the utmost respect, leaving the house clean upon your departure. 10) Do not use the laundry machine (washer and dryer). If there's an emergency and you need to use it please call and ask us first. There are specific settings that should be used. 11) There is no daily housekeeping service. While clean linens and bath towels are included, daily maid service is not included in the rental. Do not remove towels or linens from the home. 12) There is no breakfast, food or drinks provided with your rental (only free coffee). Please do not eat or drink any of our food. If we find something that has been consumed, we will take it out of your deposit. You are welcome to use our water/Brita filter in the refrigerator - feel free to refill water from the kitchen sink as needed. There will be some room in the refrigerator/freezer for you to store food/drink. Just ask if you need more space. 13) If it's going to rain, we ask that you bring all cushions and hammock to the shed, and ensure the 2 skylights in the living room are closed (the stick is in the coat closet near the front door). 14) Keep both yard gates closed at all times. 15) Do not disturb or pick from our veggie garden and fruit trees. 16) Try not move furniture inside the house; if you do ensure that all furniture (chairs) are placed back where you found them. 17) No refunds will be given for storms unless cancellation fall within stated cancellation policy. * To print out the full guidebook, click here: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/497714/guidebook Guest Access- Guests have access to 4 bikes, BBQ, outdoor decks and seating, outdoor shower. - Note that sprinklers go on daily at 3am (all zones) and 12:30pm (vegetable garden only). The SpaceThis lovely and private inexpensive getaway is ideal for planning a trip to NY! You and your loved one will thoroughly enjoy your stay from Manhattan to Montauk and everywhere in-between in this central location to all. It has been carefully thought out and stylishly designed to make you feel right at home from the minute you step in. You will be welcomed with a delightful goodie basket from your host with a personal message tucked inside. You will have access to your own onsite parking with security sensor lights, private entrance, private fenced yard, cable TV and Wi-Fi . The over sized staircase leads down to a secure double locked entry door with glass panels. The space offers plenty of lighting options, all new tiled flooring in every room and freshly painted light and bright walls and your own thermostat. There are two closets one in the Master Bedroom and one in the Living room. The beautiful, large queen size sleigh bed offers plenty of comfortable sleeping room for two. Your bedroom is equipped with hangers, an alarm clock, full length mirror, 2-oscillating remote controlled floor fans, a towel hamper and a new luggage rack. The living room has a TV and a mini electrical fireplace that offers both a heating and cool setting. When in use it is a lovely & romantic focal point in the room. Their is also a 3rd oscillating fan (no remote) in the living room. You have a large new bathroom with shower stall that has a powerful Koehler showerhead. Your lovely kitchen comes with all stainless steal appliances, plenty of cabinet space, a microwave oven and a Keurig coffee maker. Dishes, pots, pans, mixing bowls, drink ware, utensils etc... are also available for your use. Provided amenities are dish-washing soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, bath towels and toilet paper as well as household cleaners under the sink in the kitchen. The premises will (& have been) upgraded after each guest stays as I look for and find other ways to improve my guests experiences so it will be an on going work in progress for me to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. LIRR to NYC just a couple blocks over from premises. Onsite Parking available. Walking Distance to convenient stores. Other Things to NoteA Foosball Table is provided for some indoor activity so competitive fun is highly encouraged. =) We have also provided a variety of " what to do guides" while enjoying your stay here on Long Island, NY. You will also have in the kitchen for your convenience, ordering in menus from different restaurants.
