The SpaceOur property offers a dock for boats and fishing folks in our Back Bay Area. We have some of the best fishing on Lake Champlain right off the shore or in your boat. Our sunsets are gorgeous with the Adirondack Mountains to the west of us. From every cottage you can see the lake the mountains and seven historical sites. It is a great location for families and children being that we are on a dead end road right at the water's edge. One may enjoy nature walks, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, or take an occasional ride viewing the sites on the water in our motor boat upon request. There are many historical sites and museums and orchards nearby. The town of Middlebury is 25 minutes away where the very popular Middlebury College is. There are many golf courses in the area where one might enjoy 9 holes or 18 holes.enjoy the evening with a small bonfire behind your cottage or enjoy a bonfire we occasionally have during the week. We also might entertain you with our weekly barbecues. We are a pet friendly property for dogs. Guest AccessOut guests have access to an aluminum rowboat, the beach, and fishing. (Off shore one must have a fishing license). Interaction with GuestsAs owners we live on the property and if you require anything we generally are available. One may find us in our garden, or at the boat house, or mowing the lawn. The NeighborhoodWe love the neighborhood because it is a beautiful area and the closest neighbor is about a half mile away. Its private and quiet and very relaxing and peaceful. Getting AroundWe highly recommend bringing your car to get around.There is an airport in Burlington, and Albany. There is also a train station which comes into White Hall New York. There are also buses available in the town of Middlebury. Other Things to NoteWe guarantee that you will find this particular property beautiful and there is no other like it on the lake with its majestic qualities, sunsets, and history.

The SpaceThis cottage is set on 10 secluded acres on the shore of Lake Champlain in Shoreham, Vermont. There is a path through the woods down to the lake and several boat put ins nearby. The property sits in the middle of apple orchards. The ferry to New York and Fort Ticonderoga is about 2 miles away. Sitting in the backyard, you can look out on the lake and the Adirondacks, the Green Mountains are behind you. 3 kayaks are available to use on the lake. Guest AccessGuests have access to the entire property, with about a third of it wooded. Interaction with GuestsWe do not live in the area but can answer any questions by phone. The NeighborhoodThere are two general stores close by that offer wonderful homemade pies and local food. Brandon Gap is 22 miles and on the Appalachian Trail. Middlebury is 12.7 miles away and has grocery stores, a movie theatre, shops, and lots of great restaurants. Otter Creek runs through it and Middlebury College (Robert Frost taught there) is a beautiful, old college worth seeing. Burlington is an hours drive away and on the big part of Lake Champlain.

Our property is at the end of a private road with 20 acres sitting right on Lake Champlain. We have about 2000' of stone beach which is very nice to take long walks on. The views right from your cottage are fabulous and the evening sunsets breathtaking! Right out your door is 7 miles of lake that you can see and another 100 miles of lake to the north and south all navigable by boat. Our swimming areas are all zero entry with gentle slope which is ideal for families with young children. We have a large deck on our property which sits right on the water which can be used for small events including family parties and weddings!! Our dock is built to accommodate up to 4-20' ski boats or smaller fishing boats. A row boat is available for use with your rental. The owners have a 20' ski boat and would be happy to take anyone for a scenic ride or for some water skiing or tubing. Summer fun is truly just outside your door!

Brand new custom-built cedar home completed in May of 2008. The house is on 1/2 an acre and has 300 ft of direct shore front with very little boat traffic for peace and quiet. Additional level 1/2 acre adjacent is available for use. Great for all lawn games, volleyball, batmitton, bocce, croquet etc. There is an outdoor gas grill on the lakeside on the slate patio and a fire pit on the lawn along with a 40 foot dock for your boat. There are two canoes at the house with life vests. Great fishing right off the dock - bass, perch, bullheads etc. There is a free State boat launch 1 mile south of the property. The water is shallow about 3' at the end of the dock, deepest point in the area is around 10'. The house floor plan consists of three bedrooms, 2 full and one 1/2 bath. Full gourmet kitchen with gas range, stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. Dining area is connected to great room with 25 foot ceiling overlooking the lake with views facing west. The Golden Eagle cottage sleeps 7 and is newly renovated with beautiful craftsmanship;cathedral ceiling with gable windows; The Blue Heron sleeps 6 and is nestled in a very charming spot with beautiful views of the lake and sunsets. The largest, The Osprey sleeps 8-9 and has also westernly views with a screened in large porch and all cottages having beautiful views to the south, north & west! Each cottage has an aluminum rowboat for fishing, floating, or just packing a lunch and going for a ride (weather permitting)*The grounds are gorgeous as are the sunsets! It's Ideal for children as it is located on private dead end rd. We are located minutes to restaurants, deli's, churches, apple & berry orchards & more! The property is a short drive to Middlebury for medical ER, shopping, theaters, museums, & the college. There are many golf courses, antiquing, & more nearby. All cottages have a complete kitchen, Sat TV, dock for your boat/s, & on site a bait & tackle mini shop. Fri. nights we have a BBQ night & weather permitting a bon fire during the week. There is a mini store for purchase of 'needed' supplies & dvds are for rent. With reservations you may wish to take a scenic 'historical' tour of the lake on our motor boat! The newly constructed Champlain Bridge is a short distance by motor boat & approx. 1/2 hr by land. Larrabee's Point Ferry is about 15 min. by land, & 5 min. by motor boat. There you can take the Ferry to Ticonderoga, NY &/or the Fort, another historical site on the lake! Our property is ideal for events such as weddings, anniversaries, bridal showers, bachelor/ettes & more! We also have a professional photographer on site (add'l fee) If you wish to have your event at Watch Point, we have a beautiful deck with spectacular views as a backdrop (catering; tents; available please inquire). Book early to reserve a stay in one of the cottages! You may reserve by the weekend, (3 night min.) week, month, or season! Fall foliage season is a minimum two night stay. *Aluminum rowboats are Not permitted to go out on the water when either: the lake is rough, or bad weather due to storms! No children under the age of 16 is permitted to take a boat out without an Adult & all boaters Must have a life jacket on, (per person). CATERING TO FAMILIES, MAXIMUM OF 6 PEOPLE. We rent Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals. Our beautiful lake house is located on a private, quiet lakefront property. There are 3 sleeping areas. One queen 4 poster bed in a lovely loft area with a gorgeous view of the sunrise overlooking the lake. The lower level has 2 full beds and its own living room area with the gorgeous lakefront view and the bedroom has 2 sets of cedar bunk beds that sleeps 4 (twin). There is a main living area that has a full kitchen a breakfast bar that seats 4 and a dining table that seats 6. There is a living room with a TV/DVD player and a movie collection as well as a variety of toys and games. On the main floor there is a full bath with a shower stall. Outside there is a deck with umbrella and table (seats 6), 2 extra sun chairs with foot rests and a chaise lounge as well as a gas grill. Outside the walkout lower level is a patio with a futon, Adirondack chairs and a hammock. There is a private dock that can accommodate up to a 30ft boat and 2 extra mooring balls. There is a paddle boat, 2 kayaks and a variety of life vests included. There is an outdoor fire pit with table, chairs and umbrella as well as a badminton/volleyball net and a ladder ball game. It is a wonderful retreat to just relax and enjoy the lakeside serenity or have tons of fun enjoying all the outdoor activities the Adirondack Region has to offer.

If you are looking for a secluded quiet mountain retreat this is your spot. The home, on Eagle Lake, sits on 11 acres of land and has been in the family since the late 1800's. The original camp was replaced with a modern camp/cabin in the 1960's and has been recently updated. The views and sunsets are breathtaking! Spend a day at historic Fort Ticonderoga and learn about the important role it played during colonial times. If you love to kayak, hike, swim or sail, Eagle Lake is the place to be. Quick access to the lakefront is by steps or a path. A day trip to Burlington Vermont to visit the Shelburne Museum or lunch and shopping in Lake Placid are always a treat. Montreal is 2-4 hours way by car or train--Amtrak has a stop in Ticonderoga. The Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake is a must see as well. A newly renovated kitchen, a large master bedroom and a great deck are just a few highlights. The downstairs also has 2 comfortable queen futons which are perfect for unexpected guests. Summer is lovely on the lake but don't miss out on the fall foliage--- see the beautiful autumn colors while cruising Lake Champlain on the Carillon, a 60 ft lakeboat. Minimum stay is 1 week.
