The cottage has been recently updated, without losing its original character. The cottage sleeps 5, one bedroom has a double bed, and the other is a large room with both a double and single bed. To the front of the house is a farmyard which has ample parking space. The cottage is suitable for walkers wishing to explore the East Devon Way & other walks in the area or families looking to visit the many attractions in the area.       A superb newly built terraced house in the centre of the very pretty village of Sidbury, overlooking open countryside at the rear and just a short walk to the village stores and inn. The spacious accommodation has high quality fittings and tasteful furnishings throughout. To the rear there is a private parking space and access to a very pretty enclosed garden with balcony and garden furniture. Sidbury is a thriving Devon village with a Saxon Church, village green and pond, cricket club, local inn and shop. It is an easy 10 minute drive to the beach and many shops in Sidmouth, whilst the market town of Honiton is 10 minutes inland. There are lovely walks from the cottage including the East Devon Way. ACCOMMODATION: Entrance hall with stairs to first floor. Cloakroom with WC. Spacious kitchen with integrated appliances and dining area. This is the ideal holiday cottage for those wanting peace and tranquillity, birdsong and stargazing. It has its own drive, garden, patio and linhay, equipped with dog proof fencing, with views of the open countryside. The owner lives in the neighbouring farmhouse.Whitley Farm Dairy is a short walk from the pretty Devon village Farway, with its Norman church, easy access to many beautiful footpaths including East Devon Way footpath and Devenish Pit riding stables and Honiton Golf Course.Yet the quiet Farway is just a 5 minutes drive to a really good local pub with super food and garden. 15 minutes drive to the Jurassic coastal towns of Sidmouth and Beer.           Topaz cottage is a Grade II listed late 18th century character cottage situated in a picture postcard setting in the prettiest location in the heart of the village of Sidbury. In a location away from the main road down a quiet lane with the river Sid running past the row of 3 cottages it makes for a perfect setting to relax and enjoy. With cosy sofas, inglenook fireplace, oak beams, a modern kitchen/dining room, new bathroom completed April 2016 and 2 good size bedrooms with comfortable quality beds the cottage is a perfect getaway for all ages. Unwind in the south facing sun trap garden with a glass of wine with your meal. The area around the cottage is spectacular with access to walks woods and fields, the kids will love the river and pond for a spot of fishing. Enjoy the short and pleasant walk to Sidbury mill or watch the local cricket team just a short walk from the cottage. The welcoming local pub selling good real ales and shop are just a 2 minute walk away. Set off on some scenic walks or make your way to the many beaches and attractions of East Devon. The East Devon way passes the cottage front door. Within 3 miles of Sidmouth sea front. Lyme Regis, Seaton, Branscombe, Beer and Budleigh Salterton are all within a short drive. The cottage is maintained and cleaned to very high standards and provides everything you need and more for your holiday. Parking is on the very quiet lane in front of the cottage with parking for up to 4 cars, normally only one other car parks there.. The on-line reviews and review book at the cottage reveal the high standards kept, most guests promise to return at some time as many do. Now in our 7th year with Holidaylettings. The cottage sleeps 4 + cot, there is also a comfortable sofa bed in the living room should anyone have difficulty with the stairs. The cottage has a carpeted living room with 2 cosy sofas, freeviewTV/DVD and inglenook fireplace with gas burner, warm in winter cool in the summer. The kitchen diner has all modern requirements with slate flooring and marble table to seat 4. Tea coffee biscuits and milk on arrival are provided as well as many more of the kitchen basics. Please note that the fridge has a small freezer compartment, there is not a separate freezer. 2 double bedrooms with plenty of storage. Bedroom 1 has double bed and washbasin. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, The new bathroom situated on the ground floor has toilet, sink and electric shower over bath, supplied with all the things a bathroom requires including soaps creams toilet rolls and even a couple of toothbrushes should you forget your own. Please note that the living room area and bottom of stairs both have a low beam and may may not suit anyone above 6ft 2ins, although one strike and you soon adjust. There are lots of old fashioned games to play, a novelty for the young ones. The cottage has a south facing rear garden mainly to patio area with table and 4 chairs and bench seat, a delight to sit and relax at any time of the day or evening. There are buckets and spades and fishing nets for the kids (and dads) to explore the river pond and Sidmouths rock pools. The cottage is surrounded by open space for children to play. The availability is generally as follows, 3 night break Friday to Monday, 4 night break Monday to Friday, 7 night break Sat to Sat, Fri to Fri or Mon to Mon. We can offer stays other than these out of the main season or on a late booking arrangement in peak season making us very flexible for your holiday needs. Il s'agit de la maison de vacances idéale pour les vouloir paix et tranquillité, chants d'oiseaux et observation des étoiles. Il a sa propre voiture, le jardin, le patio et le linhay, équipé de preuve chien escrime, avec vue sur la campagne ouverte. Le propriétaire habite dans la ferme voisine. Whitley Farm Dairy est à quelques pas de la jolie village de Devon fairway, avec son église de Norman, un accès facile aux nombreux sentiers magnifiques dont sentier East Devon Way et Rochdale Pit, centre équestre et Honiton Golf Course.Yet le fairway calme est juste 5 minutes en voiture à un très bon pub local avec super aliment et jardin. 15 minutes en voiture les villes côtières de Jurassique de Sidmouth et de bière. Lyme Regis est un peu plus loin sur la côte, à environ une demi-heure. Présenté à un très haut niveau avec des meubles confortables et belles lits avec des couettes et des draps de luxe. Accès au logement : niveau d'un grand parking privé. Spacieuse aire ouverte, salle de séjour a poutres avec des portes Français sur le patio divertissant zone... Cuisine avec salle à manger très bien équipée. Chambre double au rez de chaussée avec King size lit, poutres apparentes et vue sur les champs. Salle de douche avec lavabo, WC. Et chauffe-serviettes. Escalier du salon pour ouvrir le plan galleried deuxième chambre à coucher avec lits jumeaux. Barrière d'escalier fourni.             Edge House is a New England style property newly built and completed in 2010 on the site of a former 50's farmhouse, nestled at the top of one of the picturesque valleys of Branscombe on the East Devon coast it has fabulous views down through the fields and wooded valley with glimpses of the sea in the distance. A perfect place for peace and quiet, yet only minutes in a car from nearby towns, villages beaches and local attractions.The house has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard achieving a 5 star and a Gold award from visit England, there are some special features including a bespoke oak staircase and a specially commissioned stained glass window designed by one of the family. The house is very spacious with a large lounge, a good sized dining room, a large well equipped kitchen /garden room, utility area, 2 downstairs toilets and a games room, there are 5 colour themed bedrooms which all have views down the valley, 4 of these are in the main part of the house with 1 being above the games room, this room is ideal if someone wants to come away on holiday with a group or family but would like a little more privacy in their own part of the house,this room has an en-suite shower room. All rooms have flat screen TV's, the master room has 2 double beds, it's own balcony with beautiful views and its own stunning en-suite which boasts a large black granite walk in shower area with a huge rainforest shower head, special lighting and a large air bath with chromatherapy lighting. the house can accommodate 9 adults and there is provision for 2 babies.

It has beautiful countryside views with a private stream at the bottom of your garden. There is parking right outside for two cars. The house is enclosed with a little picket fence. You have a private garden and can sit outside in all weathers in the garden or underneath the veranda,with views of the fields opposite. In the winter cosy up in front of the wood burner. Downstairs is all open plan this includes a tv with built in DVDs player & free wifi is available throughout. The kitchen has every amenity,washing machine,dishwasher,silver retro Smeg fridge. Upstairs you will find a 5ft brass bed, this room is also very large with 3 aspects. A contemporary bathroom with bath and a shower once again everything is new and very tastefully decorated. Guest AccessSidbury is a very pretty Saxon village and has been featured on "Escape to the country" on many an occasion. The village has a little shop with an excellent butchers. There is a regular bus service into the coastal town of Sidmputh with all its amenities. You have the world famous Jurrasic Coast on your doorstep and this area is famous for its picturesque walks.                   The SpaceOriginally a 17th Century Foundry which burnt down in the late 18th Century. A georgian terrace was built in its place including what is now The Old Coach House. The Old Coach House is a part of a much larger property which made up 'The Royal Oak' pub which closed during the 90's and was subsequently separated into 4 properties. Over recent years, the property has been renovated to a good standard and it is hoped that others will come to enjoy its space as much as we have. In a location away from the main road down a quiet lane with the river Sid running past the row of 3 cottages it makes for a perfect setting to relax and enjoy. With cosy sofas, inglenook fireplace, oak beams, a modern kitchen/dining room, new bathroom completed April 2016 and 2 good size bedrooms with comfortable quality beds the cottage is a perfect getaway for all ages. Unwind in the south facing sun trap garden with a glass of your favourite tipple with your meal. The area around the cottage is spectacular with access to walks woods and fields, the kids will love the river and pond for a spot of fishing. Enjoy the short and pleasant walk along the river to Sidbury mill or watch the local cricket team just a short walk from the cottage. The welcoming local pub selling good food and real ales and shop are just a 2 minute walk away. Set off on some scenic walks or make your way to the many beaches and attractions of East Devon. The East Devon way passes the cottage front door. Within 3 miles of Sidmouth sea front. Lyme Regis, Seaton, Branscombe, Beer and Budleigh Salterton are all within a short drive. The cottage is maintained and cleaned to very high standards and provides everything you need and more for your holiday. Parking is on the very quiet lane in front of the cottage with parking for up to 4 cars. The kitchen diner has all modern requirements with slate flooring and marble table to seat 4. Tea coffee biscuits and milk on arrival are provided as well as many more of the kitchen basics. Please note that the living room area and bottom of stairs both have a low beam and may not suit persons over 6ft 2ins, although one strike and you soon adjust. There are lots of old fashioned games to play, a novelty for the young ones. The historic Saxon village of Sidbury with Saxon bridge and church is a wonderful location for all ages and interests. The village holds many activities throughout the year including Sidbury fair and fete not forgetting the famous Sidmouth folk festival with a week of music in August. The elegant resort of Sidmouth, with sand and shingle beach is just 3 miles away. There are pleasant walks along the River Sid and nearby Salcombe hills many footpaths afford spectacular sea views. Honitons markets and antique shops and the renowned Donkey Sanctuary are within 6 miles.

                        Edge House is a New England style property newly built and completed in 2010 on the site of a former 50's farmhouse, nestled at the top of one of the picturesque valleys of Branscombe on the East Devon coast it has fabulous views down through the fields and wooded valley with glimpses of the sea in the distance. A perfect place for peace and quiet, yet only minutes in a car from nearby towns, villages beaches and local attractions.The house has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard achieving a 5 star and a Gold award from visit England, there are some special features including a bespoke oak staircase and a specially commissioned stained glass window designed by one of the family. The house is very spacious with a large lounge, a good sized dining room, a large well equipped kitchen /garden room, utility area, 2 downstairs toilets and a games room, there are 5 colour themed bedrooms which all have views down the valley, 4 of these are in the main part of the house with 1 being above the games room, this room is ideal if someone wants to come away on holiday with a group or family but would like a little more privacy in their own part of the house,this room has an en-suite shower room. All rooms have flat screen TV's, the master room has 2 double beds, it's own balcony with beautiful views and its own stunning en-suite which boasts a large black granite walk in shower area with a huge rainforest shower head, special lighting and a large air bath with chromatherapy lighting. the house can accommodate 9 adults and there is provision for 2 babies.                         We are proud to present this brand new holiday let we have just completed building for the 2013 Spring holiday season. The site at Rockenhayne, Branscombe is situated in a peaceful valley on a site which has been a dwelling since the 9th Century. The Maggs' Family are the proprietors and live on-site with Tan, our border collie. We are 1 mile from the main coast road the A3052 and within 10 minutes drive of local villages, towns and all amenities. We are very pet-friendly! The Retreat has been specifically designed to accommodate those with access needs and has been built using locally sourced timber and as much local craftsmanship as possible has be employed. We are fully Eco-friendly with solar powered electricity and heat-exchange underfloor heating. We have our own Spring water supply. As much waste as possible ends up on Rosie's compost and we keep two hives of bees in our vegetable garden, so we're doing our bit! We use Ecover natural cleaning products. The Retreat comprises two bedrooms; a master bedroom with en-suite wetroom with disabled-access features, and balcony doors opening into a decked area overlooking the valley. The twin-bedded room has a flip down tv and an en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms have plenty of built-in storage and a hairdryer. The superking master bedroom has a large limestone tiled wetroom with grab rails and extra features such as a small handbasin next to the toilet, and mirrors for those using wheelchairs. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails. The main living space is open-plan with a kitchen, dining area and large area. The entire front of the building opens up with folding doors so you can connect with the outdoors and there is a large decked area with outdoor seating for sunnier days. There is a large private lawn area for dogs. The living area has a 32' tv with DVD player and a 30+ library of DVDs. There are books and boardgames for you to enjoy. We have fantastic free Wi-Fi connection for you to use. All areas have been designed as best possible to accommodate those in wheelchairs. The light airy space and beautiful scenery will have particular appeals to artists, and Rockenhayne itself has a very calm and healing feel about it. We have three other holiday homes on the same site if you would like to come with larger families or a group of friends.
