The SpaceA spacious private guest room will be available to you that includes a full size bed, side table, antique dresser and full closet. A half bathroom is available inside your room. A shared full bath is also available for your use in the hallway. If you have a child or extra guests, a comfortable futon can also be made available. Guests will be provided with toiletries, towels, sheets, cable TV, guest wifi, hairdryer, microwave, and Nespresso coffee - everything you need to feel right at home. Guest AccessGuests will have access to their private room and half bathroom - a shared full bathroom with shower is available in the hallway. Parking is available on the neighborhood street, across from the house. Guests will also have access to ample outdoor space, whether it is taking their coffee on the porch in the morning or spending the evening roasting marshmallows on the fire pit in the fenced garden. When weather permits, a BBQ and outdoor table with umbrella, and a hammock will be available for use. Interaction with GuestsDuring the evening and on weekends , the hosts will be present in the home. There is also a small beagle that lives in the home; however, she can be kept separate from the guests if needed. The NeighborhoodOur home is situated in the neighborhood of Webber Park in the town of Sleepy Hollow. We are centrally located in the historic district, with Philipse Manor and Sleepy Hollow Cemetery across the street! Located in our neighborhood is Douglas Park, home of the headless horseman haunted hay ride (in October). We are also walking distance to the Rockefeller Preserve. Getting AroundWe are located adjacent to the Metro North Philipse Manor train station (Hudson Line). If you are taking the train, it is a 10 - 15 walk through the neighborhood to our home. The home is walking distance to historic sights, restaurants, and parks. A Bee Line bus is also available to take you to downtown Tarrytown, where you can enjoy shopping and shows at the Tarrytown Music Hall. If you are driving, you are a short distance to additional sights located around the Lower Hudson Valley Region, including the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture. We can also refer you to the local taxi service, if needed. Other Things to NoteBreakfast will not be provided; however, coffee and light snacks may be available for guests in their room. We will also have a mini-fridge available for your use in the dining room. A microwave is located in your guest room. The neighborhood has several locally owned restaurants within walking distance that we would be happy to recommend!
