During your stay you have access to the rest of the house, guests often meet each other and socialise if they want to, some have made great connections and say that is the best part of their stay. We do cook in the kitchen and use the bathroom downstairs (to keep the upstairs shower room for guests).
We want you to feel like you are home; there are fruit, nuts, cereal and soups on the kitchen counter to help yourself to, bread in the bread bin, and several teas, coffee and hot chocolate available whenever you want, just pop the kettle on.
You have fridge space and cupboard space so you can cater for yourself, and you have full use of the fully-fitted kitchen, which is equipped with all mod cons, so you can rustle up a meal or snack for yourself. You are welcome to use the herbs, spices, oils and condiments if you cook.
You are welcome to enjoy the living room, which has a comfortable leather sofa and chairs, flat screen TV and dining room table.
There's an upstairs shower room for the use of guests, with hot water all day.
There is a strict no smoking policy or vaping in the house for the comfort of all guests.
There is an English cottage garden at the back, with a fire pit and social area to sit out in for your pleasure.
In the local area you will find everything you need for a great stay; there are cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and pubs all within walking distance. There are also good transportation links; my house is just a short walk from two stations; where there is a regular service to London Paddington and Waterloo, which can take as little as 30 minutes.
My house is perfectly located for visiting Windsor Castle. It is just a short walk to the castle which is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world and also the official residence of the Queen. The Castle covers an area of about 13 acres, and contains the State Apartments, pieces from the Royal Collection, The Drawing Gallery, St George's Chapel, and many other treasures!
We are also close to the river and the Long Walk, and just across the bridge from Eton village; with its quirky shopping street, college and cathedral.
There is a lot to enjoy, over 2 million visitors a year can't be wrong.

We live here in an annex, and we have enjoyed years of good relations with our guests, many have gone on to become friends.
Relax, it's home from home. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is safe, quiet and friendly, it is also 5 mins walk from the town centre, with its numerous bars, cafes, and restaurants. It is a tourist destination and so it is a very desirable town. Getting AroundIf you need a taxi I highly recommend Windsor Radio Cars, (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN), they are the best value, reliable and trustworthy. Please consider calling them for transport to and from the airports particularly, and all short journeys in the area are best served by them.
Windsor has two train services into London, and ample bus and coach services to the rest of the country. It also has very easy access to the M4.
Otherwise everything is within walking distance. Other Things to NoteWe live here in an annex, and we have enjoyed years of good relations with our guests, many have gone on to become friends.
