The SpaceThe shack is ready for you to move into and settle down for a pleasant holiday, without bringing your own bed linen and towels and paying for laundry, cleaning etc at the end of your stay.
Bed linen (quilt / doona covers, quilts / doona, sheets, pillowcases) and towels (bath, beach and kitchen) are all provided, with beds made with fresh sheets, fresh pillow covers, fresh doona covers and fresh bath towels ready for use when you move in. No extra charges for providing or cleaning them.
Dinner setting, coffee mugs, double skin latte glasses, cutlery, wine glasses and glass tumblers for six people; coffee dripper; coffee plunger; milk frother; coffee bean grinder; infuser tea pot; rice cooker; slow cooker; retro electric frypan; water filter; mini food processer; toasted sandwich maker; plus usual pots, pans, oven trays and kitchen utensils are all provided.
Basic household consumables to cover a stay of a few days are provided, such as bath soap, toilet paper, laundry liquid, dishwasher powder, aluminium foil, cling wrap, kitchen paper towels, cooking oils and sprays, vinegar, salt, pepper, dried herbs, and sauces.
Butter and margarine will be in the refrigerator, along with a random selection of mystery items depending upon what's not been used up or been left behind by the last guests. You could be feasting on quality pate, cheeses and drinks the last guests left behind, or looking at an almost empty fridge. If there's good quality food and drink within 'use by' dates left behind when I clean after the last guest, I leave it for you. The rest gets thrown out. If you don't want it, you can throw it out.
You'll need to bring your own short lived foods like fresh milk and bread, which you can get at the well stocked supermarket at San Remo about 10 minutes before you reach the shack. Or you can go about 10 minutes past the shack into Cowes which has Coles and Woolworths supermarkets.
Reverse cycle heating / air conditioning covering living / dining room and adjoining kitchen.
Beach holiday games (Scrabble, card games, Trivial Pursuit, draughts and chess).
DVD player in lounge. Has standard USB
Random collection of vinyl records, mainly seventies to eighties, and basic record player.
Firewood for brazier for sitting outside at night around the fire.
Gas for 4 burner hooded barbeque.
Basic first aid items such as band aids, antiseptic, and Panadol. Interaction with GuestsI'm pretty much an invisible host.
I figure you want a holiday, so you don't want me hanging around.
Keys are in key safe on premises, to which you'll be given combination. The NeighborhoodHouse is three houses back from the foreshore road, which is behind high sand dunes.
About five minute walk east or west of the shack to sandy ocean beach and rock pools. Or about twice to three times as long if you've got toddlers dawdling along (This is from experience when our kids were little.)
