The SpaceYarrandoo is a beautiful property with many activities for you to enjoy: relax by the pool, sit on the deck and listen to the birds as you watch the sun go down, curl up in front of the fire and relax with a book, get up early go for a bush walk through the state forest behind the house, have a picnic among the trees, or go out and explore all that the central coast has to offer. It's up to you.
The house itself is situated in a peaceful and private part of the valley with trees screening the house from the road and neighbouring properties.
It has its own driveway, fenced in yard (not dog proof), parking, decks, pool, and fruit trees (which you can help yourself to).
There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen on the property and horses in the paddocks beside the house.
And best of all, your pets are welcome to come on holiday with you! Pets are welcome on the property and in the house. However, your pet is your responsibility if you stay here. This means cleaning up any messes they make and ensuring that they are always safe, supervised, and well behaved (this means no chasing the horses or chickens). :] Guest AccessThe house is totally private.
You will have the whole place to yourself.
The house has a full open plan kitchen with fridge and freezer, oven, gas stove, grill, kettle, toaster, microwave, and coffee machine. Crockery, coffee, tea and a teapot are also provided.
Basic breakfast will be available including cereal, tea, sugar, milk and eggs.
You will also find a picnic basket with a blanket, cutlery, and some tasty local treats for you to enjoy.
There is a beautiful open living and dining area by the kitchen which opens onto the main deck and pool area. The living area includes a three seat lounge, four single lounges, a large coffee table, and combustion fire place. The dining area includes a large wooden table that seats six.
An additional lounge room has a comfortable five seat lounge, TV, and DVDs. The TV has free to air reception and access to Netflix.
The large master bedroom has french doors opening onto the northern balcony. A perfect place for sunny summer reading and morning coffee. The master bedroom also has an en suite with toilet, shower, and basin, a Queen sized bed, tallboy, bedside tables, mirrors, and lamps.
Bedroom two has a Queen size bed, bedside tables, tallboy, and lamps.
Bedroom three has a double size bed, bedside tables, tallboy, and lamps.
The fourth bedroom has two single beds which are usually pushed together and made up as a king size bed. If you would rather have two single beds, just let us know when you make your booking. Bedroom 4 also has a beautiful sunny window seat, bedside tables, lamps, tallboy and a wardrobe.
In winter the beds are made up with flannelette sheets for that extra cozy feel. All bed linens are provided.
The main bathroom has a toilet, deep old fashioned clawfoot bathtub, separate shower, basin and mirror. Towels, soaps, and bath goodies will be provided.
The laundry has a basin, washing machine, dryer, and a toilet. Interaction with GuestsWe will be available during check in and to provide any assistance necessary.
I live in a little cottage next door with my three chickens and two dogs so you might see me if you go for a bushwalk and I happen to be out in the paddocks feeding the horses, but other than that you will have the place completely to yourself. The NeighborhoodThe Yarramalong Valley is well known as a beautiful, peaceful part of the central coast. Staying at Yarrandoo you will have close access to:
- state forests for beautiful bush walking, motor bike riding, and push bike riding,

Pamphlets for local activities and attractions (such as horse riding) will be provided. Getting AroundThere is no public transport available and your own vehicle will be necessary. Other Things to NoteThe taps and showers in the house use clean fresh rain water collected from the roof of the house which is perfectly safe to drink.
The house has no mobile phone reception. While this may seem like an inconvenience at first, it's actually a great way of making sure you are able to really switch off from the outside world and enjoy the country atmosphere.
A landline phone is available if you need to contact the outside world.
