You can walk in and around the inner city. There are Brisbane City Council bicycle which you can rent, please (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) this! And public transport (bus, city cat, train) is very frequent in Zone 1. You may use your ticket interchangeably on these methods of transport! Buses run 24 hours from our house into the city on weekends. Other Things to NoteThe air train is the suggested method to get to our home from the airport. All information can be found online, but costs approximately $15 per ticket and you would get off at South Brisbane station for a short 5 minute walk to our house. If you have more luggage or are arriving later than the air train times, a taxi would be the better option, which costs approximately $55 from the airport to our door.

The SpaceFor pure convenience and a home like base, you can't beat this comfortable 2 bed/2 bath apartment right opposite Southbank Parklands. Your apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, free wifi, and fully ducted air conditioning. 2 spacious bedrooms sleeping 4 people in 2 queen beds and a fold out bed that sleeps 1 - the master has an ensuite and a huge walk through wardrobe, and the second bedroom also features a study area. Laundry facilities are in the apartment. The building has secure access with a single carpark allocated, and lift access to both the apartment and the carpark. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath, and the ensuite has a shower only. Your apartment is located right across from the gorgeous Southbank Parklands, and from your balcony you can smell, hear and see all there is to offer. Doxens of restaurants, cafes and bars, acres of parks and playgrounds, and your very own 'beach' in the middle of the parklands for a swim. You can have a barbeque on your balcony, or take your barbeque or picnic over to the Parklands to enjoy one of the many open air spaces. The SpaceThe private room is in a apartment building. It is located where Southbank and West End meet. The area offers Brisbane's best entertainment with numerous restaurants and cafes. The night life in West-End is vibrant. The single ensuite room meets student requirements with the onsite gym, included Wifi and studying areas. Non students are also welcome. In the apartment there are common areas available with kitchen and a comfortable living room with TV and new sofas. The other residents are friendly university students from across the globe. The clean and tidy room is a quite place to rest or work. It is well above the standard student dormitory, this is not a party place. All the areas are air-conditionated. Guest AccessThe building has a secured entrance. In the lobby there is a pool table, mini-cinema, coin laundry, and study areas. Access to the onsite Gym and Wifi (anywhere in the building) are included. It takes approximately 20 minutes by car/taxi to get from the Domestic terminal to the apartment building, and 35 minutes by train. Interaction with GuestsI am a Latin Post-Graduate student at the University of Queensland. I offer my room when I am travelling and explore more of Australia. It's possible for me to attend any enquiry by email. At check-in I'll provide the electronic key to access the room. I can answer any question about the accommodation or this lovely city. The NeighborhoodSouthbank and West End offer a selection of local and international cuisine. You can explore the Cultural Centre with the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) and Queensland State Library. Most of the exhibitions are free of charge. The Brisbane's Conference Center is short walking distance as well. All the services you need are near the apartment. There are a Foodworks and a 7-Eleven very close, and a Coles supermarket in West End. The 7-Eleven count with an ATM, there is Commonweath Bank branch in Grey Street. Getting AroundPublic transport is the preferred transport method. The place is next door to the Southbank Train and Bus station. Trains to the Gold Coast and the airport depart directly from there. There is a public ferry service (Brisbane's CityCat) running along the river. The "Southbank" ferry station is located in the Parklands. Morron bus (CityGlider) and CityCat Ferry lines are free of charge. Other Things to NoteThere is a minumum two night stay. A refundable deposit of AU$30 for the electronic key is required (returned at check-out). 500M/day of internet data is included. Use of towels and bed linnen is included. Guest AccessGuests will have access to the entire apartment, as well as the pool, which is located on the Ground Floor between the two towers. Interaction with GuestsI'm usually out of town when my apartment is available. That said, I'm usually very quick with email. The NeighborhoodI may be biased, but I think this apartment has got the best location in the city. You've got it all, with easy access to the fast-paced city centre, funky West End, and touristy South Bank. There are more restaurants, cafés, and bars than you can count, and you are walking distance from events at the convention centre, Suncorp stadium, and QPAC. Take a walk down the river, or window shop on Boundary Street--this neighborhood has it all! Getting AroundThe 199, 196, and 192 buses stop less than a block away. The CityGlider stops at Cultural Centre, along with many others. South Brisbane railway station is three blocks away, which provides AirTrain services directly to the airport.

    The SpaceAll rooms have large beds are made up with Sheridan linen and bath towels for your ensuite. Each room has a large flat screen TV and you can connect to our wi-fi, with a complimentary 2gb worth of data for your stay. Guest AccessThe kitchen is available if you wish to cook basic things. There is a fridge, microwave, small stove top, electric cooker, kettle, toaster, pots and pans and crockery. Most of our guests don't cook however because of our location - there are just so many restaurants for a decent price not even a minutes walk from where we are! This is why we don't put on breakfast. There is a laundry on site for your convenience with an outdoor clothes line. The NeighborhoodSituated in quiet street within walking distance to the CBD, South Bank, State Library, Theatres (Movies and Playhouses), Cultural and Convention Centres. Less than 2 minutes walk to Bohemian West End with it's associated array of cafes, restaurants, bars, night life and famous markets. Getting AroundWe are located in Zone 1, which is the inner city. You can walk in and around the inner city. There are Brisbane City Council bicycle which you can rent, please (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) this! And public transport (bus, city cat, train) is very frequent in Zone 1. You may use your ticket interchangeably on these methods of transport! Buses run 24 hours from our house into the city on weekends. Other Things to NoteThe air train is the suggested method to get to our home from the airport. All information can be found online, but costs approximately $15 per ticket and you would get off at South Brisbane station for a short 5 minute walk to our house. If you have more luggage or are arriving later than the air train times, a taxi would be the better option, which costs approximately $55 from the airport to our door.

Getting AroundI walk everywhere, but public transport is bountiful. South Brisbane station is a five minute walk, the Cultural Center bus depot is less. The rest of the apartment is a common area including kitchen, laundry, Lounge room and veranda which doubles as a dining area. Interaction with GuestsI will be away travelling, however my house mate Adam loves to host guests and will be available outside of business hours when his working. The NeighborhoodLiving on the park at Southbank is central as you can get to the best and most popular area in Brisbane. Your right next to restaurants, coffee shops etc. The building has a convenience store, Thai and Turkish restaurant. A coffee shop directly across the road, including the bus and train station. Getting AroundThe bus and train station is directly across the street, so it is not far to carry luggage if required. Sometimes my car park is available depending if I have taken my car away on a trip, request if required. There is a taxi rank just down the street outside the cinemas, generally when I call there already waiting outside by the time I get down to the street. Other Things to NoteYou will be given a door key and swipe card for access to the building, on exit day the key and swipe card must be left in the letterbox 42 at front entry.

Storage is pretty short in the apartment, so there are some things in the cupboard - there is some hanging space free though should you need. Guest AccessYou will have your own bathroom and are welcome to relax in the lounge room & balcony area. There is also a pool in the complex. Light kitchen use only - toast, cereal, make a sandwich. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes & take away places within 10mins walk - Southbank & Westend. Guests can help themselves to cereal & bread for breakfast. Interaction with GuestsYou will be sharing the apartment with myself & my fiancée. We both work weekdays in the city. I'm normally up & about early to swimming/running/cycling - also means I'm generally in bed pretty early. The Cultural Centre (QLD Museum & QPAC) is 5 mins walk. 8mins walk to Southbank - the Brisbane Wheel, the beach, markets & main dining precinct of the city. The Queen Street Mall & CBD is a leisurely 20min over the bridge. Funky & alternative West End - the Hipster heart of Brisbane - is also only few blocks away. Browse the shops for a unique souvenir or dream the day away in a coffee shop. Also plenty of dining options in West End including a weekend night market. Coles supermarket is a 5min walk.     My apartment is a short walk to Boundary St in the West End which is packed with restaurants and bars and the City for shopping. One bedroom with a fold out sofa bed in the loungeroom, a large balcony overlooking the pool.
