The owner lives at 1386 (next door) and is happy to have as much or as little interaction as you prefer. Interaction with GuestsThis home is a guest house adjacent to our home. We invite interaction with our guests but restrict access to our home and western adjacent properties without permission. We will also respect your privacy while you're staying in our guest house. The NeighborhoodThis is a rural setting but only about 2 miles from shopping center and local town centers. You are on the water so care should be taken with small children or adults that do not swim well along banks of the creek because it is deep water. Getting AroundThere is no public transportation, Uber, taxi's, trains, etc. If you have a large vehicle (i.e. and RV) we can arrange parking on other side of our property. Two auto parking areas adjacent to the home. Other Things to NoteWe are 25 miles west of Chattanooga, rated by Outside Magazine as the best town in the U.S. in 2015. The house is within 20 minute drive or less to Aquariums, Children's Creative Museum, IMAX theatre, Civil war sites (Chickamauga Battle Field), mountain climbing, rock climbing (Foster Falls, Sunset Rock, Tennessee Wall, Leda, Rocktown, and Little Rock City), shopping, fishing, hunting, sky diving, hang gliding, 4x4 RV trails, Russell Cave National Monument, University of the South in Sewanee, Fall Creek Falls, Nick-a-jack Lake, Guntersville Lake, Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls, Rock City, Franklin Forest, and many other attractions. For golfers, the owner is member of Black Creek Club in Chattanooga (20 Miles) and Sweetens Cove Golf Club only 1 mile from house and he can get you on both of these courses at unattended guest rates. Black Creek is considered one of the best 18 hole tracks in Chattanooga, Sweetens Cove is considered "the 2nd Best 9 Hole Course" in the United States by Golf Digest and the best that has been built since WWII. The University of the South just upgraded it's 9 hole track in Sewanee so it could be a retro golf outing, going back to the way golf was invented by playing 2 different 9 hole courses to get your 18 in.
