The SpaceQuaint home with just about everything you need! Private master bedroom with queen bed, linens, dresser, and closet. Private second bedroom with twin platform bed and custom bunk (picture to come), linens, closet, and drawers under platform bed. Private bathroom with shower. Washing machine in bathroom and clothes line on premises for laundry (no dryer). Full living room with a sleeper sofa, two recliners, and a small desk for all of you writers! TV with cable located in living room as well. Dining room table that seats four and can expand to seat more! Small kitchen fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and basic cookware as well as a small stove, refrigerator with freezer, and microwave. Large sunroom to sit back and enjoy the evenings looking out over the panoramic view of Lake Champlain (see pictures)! For those cold nights, built in electric heaters are located throughout the home with individual controlled thermostats.
For your safety: Smoke detectors located in bedrooms, porch, and main living areas. Fire extinguishers are located in the porch, kitchen, and near the bathroom/bedroom area. Carbon monoxide detector is located in main living area.
Additional Note: Internet, TV, & Cable will not be available until 2017 season. Guest AccessAs our guest you will have access to the whole home, private parking, a semi-private beach, and most important – breathtaking views!! Enough parking to fit a medium size fishing boat trailer and truck plus a car (see satellite view in pictures) however, tight corner getting into driveway. Boat launches are located at Kill Kare State Park and a Vermont Public Fishing Access Area one mile away. Dock rental for boat storage may be able to be negotiated into the home rental for an additional fee. Please contact prior to coordinate. Interaction with GuestsDue to our location, we will keep our interaction with you limited to allow you to enjoy your vacation and the beauty of the bluff! We will, however, be available whenever you need us to answer your questions! Additionally, we have local representation in the St. Albans area that will respect your privacy, but is available to make sure you get settled in and to take care of any concerns you may have. Getting AroundPublic transportation in St. Albans is limited. It is recommended that you bring a vehicle or get a rental for picking up groceries in the city. If you like to bike, it is a great place to ride! Also, with easy access to Lake Champlain, why not bring your boat, kayak, or canoe and enjoy the water ways! Other Things to NoteThis home is a Late Spring – Early Fall rental only with a required TWO (2) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. Due to its location, it may not be accessible any earlier or later than it is listed. Also, this home draws lake water for use in the camp. The water is filtered and UV treated and is safe to bathe as well as clean dishes, do laundry, and use for cooking. It is not recommended for drinking. Recommend picking up bottled water for consumption.
