The SpaceThe Jewett House was originally a 5400 square foot mansion located in the last block of the city on North Main St.. The property comprised almost half of the block. it now is slightly over an acre consisting of ample parking, large garden, and spacious lawns and open space. The furnished apartment features modern amenities such as dishwasher, wireless Internet, cable, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchen, hairdryer and laundry facilities. . Smoking in the apartment is not permitted. outside is ok, away from other guests. Pets: Well behaved pets are accepted, and there is room both on and off site to walk them. Guests are expected to pick up after their pets. Guest AccessThere is a private entrance to this space with porch entrance and parking. a BBQ grill is available for use Interaction with GuestsWe are available and around the property most of the time if anything is needed to improve their stay, but respect the privacy of our guests to do their own thing. We live in the building so we will in most instances be on site for arrivals and to give information about bike paths, boat rentals and great places in Vt to visit. We only provide coffee and tea set ups for your convenience. You are welcome to use the full kitchen for meal preparation. If you do bring your pet we require a 100.00 damage deposit (refundable) if no damage. The NeighborhoodOur place is on North Main St., the last block of the city's north/south corridor. While the street is heavily traveled during the day, things quiet down in the evening. Moreover, the back yard is large and more of a country setting. Downtown is walking distance (10 minutes) to restaurants and movies,14th Star Brewery. The shopping centers to the north of town are just 2 miles away by car or bike as is Lake Champlain. Burlington is 30 minutes away by car or shuttle bus. We are located 11/2 hour from Montreal, 1 hour from 3 ski areas and situated at the beginning of the Missisquoi Rail Trail (27 miles in length). Getting AroundThere are shuttles to and from Burlington and surrounding areas. Additionally, there are several taxis serving Franklin and Chittenden Counties from Burlington Airport take I89N to exit 19, StAlbans approx. 28 miles. take rte 7 N (N Main St) to 231 N Main #4 Other Things to NoteThere is a rail trail bike and walking path commencing just up the street and going 40+ miles to Canada. Lake Champlain and several parks are 2 miles +/- Downtown is a 10 minute walk down the sidewalk. Bicycling is encouraged; there may be a bike or 2 around if you didn't bring yours.

The SpaceBeautiful & spacious restored French Victorian home nestled on a gorgeous, quiet lot in Saint Albans, Vermont. We are convenient to Smuggs (30 minutes) & Jay Peak (45 minutes); 25 minutes to downtown Burlington, and an easy drive to UVM. Sumptuous full breakfast included. Stay in total comfort in one of six beautifully appointed rooms with private baths. Enjoy lounging in one of our sitting areas, gardens, library, or; if weather permits, on one of four covered porches or the large garden deck. Walk to dinner at one of the many eateries in the historic town, take in a movie, or the farmer's market, artists exhibits, shopping,or the histoorical museum. For a relaxing change, take one of our picnic baskets to Lake Champlain (less than 5 minutes) in warmer temps, or haul your snowmobile to the trails, just take a hike, or snowshoe/cross country ski the rail trail in colder temps. Collins-Perley sports complex is just around the corner. Hard'ack recreational area is just a walk up the road. Two wonderful coffee shops are walking distance and feature great baked goods, as well as lunch. Saint Albans is the official home of the Vermont Maple Festival, and very close to Montreal and Quebec attractions. Local Amtrak station within walking distance. Lakes to Locks passage/trail. 20 minutes to Burlington International Airport. We are a wonderful location for private parties, exceptional catered dinners, corporate retreats, wellness stays, and weddings. The SpaceBuilt in 2007, the Lakehouse is 1500 sq ft of space for you and your family to relax and enjoy the sounds of the lake lapping against the shore. This home sits directly on the edge of the water overlooking beautiful Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. This home comfortably sleeps 6-8 people with two bedrooms with queen beds, and two comfortable pull-out couches. There is one bathroom with two sinks, full bath/shower and toilet, and the house has a large game room with a full sized pool table available for your use. The main living space, bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor of the home. The main floors have hardwood, the bedrooms are carpeted and tiling in the bathroom. The kitchen and living room is an open concept with cathedral knotty pine ceilings. There is basic cable TV and Wi-Fi internet available. Enjoy your afternoons sitting on the large deck with the awning and watching the sunset before your eyes. It's a spectacular sunset that cannot be missed. There is also a grill available for your use as well. The house is also only approximately 50 minutes away from some of the best skiing/snowboarding in the East. In the summer months, hiking Mount Mansfield and the Long Trail are great activities. Only 30 minutes from Burlington and downtown Burlington's Church Street, Waterfront and Bike Path's. There are many more attractions to see in the St. Albans and surrounding areas. Guest AccessGuests have full access to the house, including the basement area where there are two pullout couches, a lower patio and a pool table. The only area off-limits is the loft, which is for homeowner storage only. Interaction with GuestsNo interaction, other than communicating regarding the rental. Should any issues occur, the property manager is less than a mile away, and can usually be available at a moments notice. The NeighborhoodNice, quiet one lane dirt road. Neighbors are friendly, but keep to themselves. Feel free to say hello. Getting AroundNo public transit. There is a town park nearby with access to the beach. The city is about three miles away and has a lovely Main Street facade with boutique shopping and several restaurants, from casual to fine dining. Other Things to NoteThe owner of the sailboat uses our access to get to his boat. The dingy on the beach belongs to him and is not available for guest use.

The SpaceWe are located in historic downtown St Albans Vermont. Suite 1, 112 North Main Street, St Albans Vt. The building was built in the late 1800's and the rooms are situated on the third floor overlooking Main Street St Albans. There is no elevator in the building, it is stair access only. The two large rooms are separate from the main apartment. For privacy the two rooms can be sectioned off from each other using the sliding doors. The bathroom is shared with the owners. The accommodations are kept very clean. Guest AccessGuests have their own private space and are able to come and go as they please. The rooms are separate from the owner's apartment and can be locked. Breakfast is served in the Guest Reading area or in the room as the guest wishes. Breakfast is prepared by Dara Lavallee, a Cordon Bleu trained Chef. We try and keep our fare sourced from local farmers and producers as well as be organic and vegetarian whole foods. Interaction with GuestsBreakfast is usually served each morning between 6am and 8am depending on guests request. Host Dara and Ric are available to answer questions and help you arrange side trips or plan your stay. Please note during the winter we keep the heat lowered to help lower costs, reduce our carbon footprint and increased health benefits. We recommend proper sleep atire and clothing be considered. The NeighborhoodAn evening stroll around downtown St Albans and Taylor park is a truly enjoyable and relaxing. There are many activities throughout the year. The main street is a nice walk and has many restaurants and shops to pass the time in. Getting AroundSeveral modes of transportation are available in St Albans. Bus, Taxi, Car Rental, Airport Service. If available Hosts Dara and Ric can arrange for train or Airport pick-up and drop-off service. Additional fees apply. Other Things to NoteSt Albans is located near beautiful Lake Champlain and is 30 minutes from Burlington VT., 90 minutes from Montreal Quebec Canada, and has easy access to the many ski areas in Vermont.

Downstairs there is an open floor plan with a kitchen, a full bathroom with a shower, a cozy wood stove and comfy chairs and couches for curling up and relaxing. The kitchen comes complete with everything you need for cooking a romantic dinner for two or putting a big meal together for friends and family. Two of the bedrooms with gorgeous mountains views are upstairs, along with the clawfoot tub for soaking in after a long day. The third bedroom is conveniently located downstairs and offers privacy through its double french doors. Off the living room there is a small porch, perfect for sunset views. In the summer come for the lush, green landscape or swimming in the ponds and fresh mountain streams. In all seasons come to explore the fromageries of Sutton, Quebec or hikes up Mount Mansfield. Getting AroundThe Hideaway House is easy to find, located just 15 minutes off of exit 19 on I-89. We are only 40 minutes north of Burlington and within an hour or two from lots of interesting day trips like Montreal or the Eastern Townships of Quebec. You will find all the shopping amenities you need within 10-15 minutes in the neighboring towns of Enosburg Falls or St. Albans. Both towns have natural food stores as well as larger grocery stores for stocking up on supplies. Other Things to NoteThe mountain cabin is a cold water cabin. There is a sink with running water for dishes. Around the back of the cabin is a composting toilet. At the moment there is no shower, but the spring-fed pond on the property is perfect for a refreshing dip.

The SpaceQuaint home with just about everything you need! Private master bedroom with queen bed, linens, dresser, and closet. Private second bedroom with twin platform bed and custom bunk (picture to come), linens, closet, and drawers under platform bed. Private bathroom with shower. Washing machine in bathroom and clothes line on premises for laundry (no dryer). Full living room with a sleeper sofa, two recliners, and a small desk for all of you writers! TV with cable located in living room as well. Dining room table that seats four and can expand to seat more! Small kitchen fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and basic cookware as well as a small stove, refrigerator with freezer, and microwave. Large sunroom to sit back and enjoy the evenings looking out over the panoramic view of Lake Champlain (see pictures)! For those cold nights, built in electric heaters are located throughout the home with individual controlled thermostats. For your safety: Smoke detectors located in bedrooms, porch, and main living areas. Fire extinguishers are located in the porch, kitchen, and near the bathroom/bedroom area. Carbon monoxide detector is located in main living area. Additional Note: Internet, TV, & Cable will not be available until 2017 season. Guest AccessAs our guest you will have access to the whole home, private parking, a semi-private beach, and most important – breathtaking views!! Enough parking to fit a medium size fishing boat trailer and truck plus a car (see satellite view in pictures) however, tight corner getting into driveway. Boat launches are located at Kill Kare State Park and a Vermont Public Fishing Access Area one mile away. Dock rental for boat storage may be able to be negotiated into the home rental for an additional fee. Please contact prior to coordinate. Interaction with GuestsDue to our location, we will keep our interaction with you limited to allow you to enjoy your vacation and the beauty of the bluff! We will, however, be available whenever you need us to answer your questions! Additionally, we have local representation in the St. Albans area that will respect your privacy, but is available to make sure you get settled in and to take care of any concerns you may have. Getting AroundPublic transportation in St. Albans is limited. It is recommended that you bring a vehicle or get a rental for picking up groceries in the city. If you like to bike, it is a great place to ride! Also, with easy access to Lake Champlain, why not bring your boat, kayak, or canoe and enjoy the water ways! Other Things to NoteThis home is a Late Spring – Early Fall rental only with a required TWO (2) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. Due to its location, it may not be accessible any earlier or later than it is listed. Also, this home draws lake water for use in the camp. The water is filtered and UV treated and is safe to bathe as well as clean dishes, do laundry, and use for cooking. It is not recommended for drinking. Recommend picking up bottled water for consumption.

Lake Champlain Cottage, cozy, rustic, Scenic getaway. Featuring 250 feet of lake frontage with sandy beach. Cottage is across the road situated on spacious 1 1/4 acre flat lot offering plenty of room for outdoor sports. Beautiful Vermont country setting. Including 30 foot aluminum dock with free public boat launch 1 mile down the road. Adequate on-site parking. Rustic decor makes it an excellent choice for families with children, couples just wanting an intimate getaway, or small groups of friends. 1600 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath Lake House. Wonderful for family fun, or romantic getaway. The cottage is situated directly on lovely Lapan Bay, boasting beautiful distant mountain views and a quiet peaceful atmosphere. Very few neighbors - lots of privacy- yet 10 min drive to grocery stores and restaurants, 35 min to Burlington, little over an hour to Montreal. We provide a row boat for bay boating and fishing, and offer 90 feet of docks for your own boat to enjoy fishing on the bay where you can expect to catch bass, trout, perch and more. Easy access to the broad lake right out the end of the bay for boating enthusiasts to enjoy a day on the lake. The boat launch is only 2 miles away! We have a nice lawn for barbeques and yard games, and a safe and shallow sandy swimming area for young children right off the front yard. We offer a lovely 3 BR cottage that sleeps 7-8. Bed/bath linens, kitchen utensils and cookware provided, along with gas grill, outside fire pit, row boat with 4 life jackets, 4 lawn chairs and a large cooler. This vacation property has everything you need but your food!

When not enjoying the water, afternoons can be spent curled up in the hammock with your favorite book. The hammock is the perfect place to completely unwind and read, listen to music, or just daydream in this idyllic setting! In the evenings, the large wrap around deck is perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine while grilling steaks on the outdoor grill and watching the boats return from their day’s adventure. End your night by building a warm fire to take the chill off roasting marshmallows as you bask in the seclusion and relaxation of this quiet country setting. Three bedrooms will easily sleep 6 people comfortably with one queen size bed, a full size bed, and a set of bunk beds. The bathroom offers a tub/shower combination, updated fixtures, and guest towels. Beach towels are also provided. The kitchen is equipped with a full size electric range, refrigerator, and microwave. A coffee maker, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, and spices are provided for your convenience. If you travel with your own boat, there is direct lake front access just a few short steps to the beach where you have your own private mooring at no extra charge. A WaterTender dingy is available for access to and from your boat. And, with over 1/2 an acre of land, there is plenty of parking for your boat trailer after you launch. Kil Kare State Park located less than a mile away offers a public boat launch, kayak and canoe rentals, as well as ferry service to Burton Island where you can spend the day exploring, swimming, or dining at the bistro. Outdoor amenities include a gas grill, hammock, firepit, ample parking, and a dingy. The cottage is located in a small, historical town with a home-town feel. We have a several local restaurants, some great antique shopping, and are easily accessed from Interstate 89. Opportunities for hiking, biking, canoeing, swimming and fishing abound. The cottage is a non-smoking facility, but smoking is allowed outside with proper disposal of cigarette butts. No pets are allowed.

Built in 2007 it features an open kitchen and living room with a knotty pine cathedral ceiling and unobstructed views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks. The first floor has Corian counters, a dishwasher, with hardwood floors and tiled bathroom, both bedrooms are carpeted. A large deck with grill is right through the sliding door, overlooking beautiful Lake Champlain. Downstairs is a large game room facing the lake with a pool table, couches and laundry facilities. Stone patios and a private dock right outside the lower level provide fishing, boating and swimming a few feet from the door. Amenities include internet Wi-Fi, cable TV, phone, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, bed linens, towels and all kitchen essentials. The Lakehouse is pet friendly, but you will be responsible for any damage caused by your pet.

Enjoy boating, fishing or swimming with access to the lake on our 150 Ft. sandy beach. The lake is shallow and sandy for young children to enjoy. A row boat and paddle boat are provided with 4 life jackets for you to enjoy the bay. The open lake is accessed at the end of the bay for boating enthusiasts to enjoy a day on the lake. The property includes a large double lot with plenty of space for outdoor activities, bar-b-ques and lawn games. This lovey 3 bedroom cottage sleeps 6-7 with plenty of room for a spare air mattress. Camp and bunk house are a traditional 4-square with open ceilings and have been completely renovated within the last 2 years. The camp's most distinctive feature is its large, open screened porch over looking the lake. The camp is located at the end of a private drive, off the main road on Hathaway Point. The camp sleeps up to 10 people. In the camp we have 2 bedrooms; the master has a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom has two sets of bunk beds for a total of 4 single bunks. There is also a pull out queen sofa bed in the living room. The bunk house has a queen bed with a twin loft. In the kitchen we have new stainless steel appliances: stove, refrigerator and microwave. And, the kitchen comes fully stocked with all flatware, bake ware, cookware, utensils, glassware, crock pot, toaster, coffee maker, etc. The camp offers a full bath with tub and shower, and the bunk house offers a 1/2 bath. There is also an outside shower. Both the camp and the bunk house have air conditioning. The camp has a flat screen smart TV and wireless internet. We also have a fire pit, picnic table and outdoor furniture along with ample parking. If you're a boater, we have protected "safe harbor" lighted 60'x8' deep water floating dock with 30 amp shore power and a 20,000 lb Hazelett mooring for larger boats. We also have a row boat and 3 kayaks available for your use (you must provide your own life jackets).
