The NeighborhoodEllen Bay Cottages is situated right on the waterfront in the picturesque village of Seatons, located on the eastern coast of the island. We could be considered a fishing village, and the area is part of the North Sound Marine park. You can enjoy a number of water excursions or just generally explore the neighbourhood and observe the village life. There is a small dinette as well as a basic village shop and bakery. So feel free to make yourself at home. Getting AroundPublic transit is available, though not on a fixed schedule, so it is recommended that you rent a car in order to get around more easily and conveniently. The SpaceParsons Maules in Seaton's Village is a little off the beaten path. There is a private beach a couple of minutes walk down the hill. Guest AccessSituated by the beach is a kayak for guests to use if they are up for it. Some of the nicest (shallow) water is outside of the third bay, on the far side of the small island there. Interaction with GuestsWe don't live in the same neighbourhood, but we do spend quite a bit of time there, so we can interact as much or as little as the tenants would like. The NeighborhoodThe best part of the neighbourhood is the people. Everyone looks out for one another, which gives an extra sense of security. Getting AroundI would recommend renting a car for your stay in Antigua. The price was set competitively so the savings could be used for a reliable source of transportation. Other Things to NoteOther amenities like TV and cable can be made available, but it may increase the price. I live on the property close by, and is available most of the time, to ensure your time spent with us goes well. There's also a property manager/owner on site daily. The is a sense of total escape from the stress of everyday live, without feeling like a tourist. At the same time there are are the facilities of a tropical retreat. A rental car is essential. Parking at home is with ease. Taxi can be reserved with a reliable source to pick you up from the airport and bring you to the house. There are dogs on the estate, but all very friendly. The bay is ideal for snorkelling straight from the dock, the water is very clear, you will see many fish, puffer fish, snapper, mullet, spotted eagle ray, turtles, and many birds in the mangroves. Once a week there is an eco tour on kayaks provided by a nearby company called Paddles. Interaction with GuestsWe are available for the guests at anytime. There is also a local bus service a few minutes walk to the main road. Other Things to NoteBananaquit apartment can sleep 2 adults and two children. My other apartment Hummingbird is a large one bedroom apartment at 165$ per night, Bananaquit is a large studio, with separate kitchen and ensuite at 150$, a night, childrens beds are a single bed with trundle under.         Villa Kulala is a luxurious four bedroom property on the East coast of the Caribbean island of Antigua. Sleeping 8 people comfortably, the house is in a unique setting atop a small cliff at the entrance to Dian Bay and is exposed to cooling tradewinds. The property sits at the end of a promontory known as Dumm’s Point, with Long Bay, one of the best of Antigua’s 365 beaches, only a short walk away. The house has been designed in contemporary Caribbean style with Balinese detailing to the highest possible standard. The villa comes staffed with a maid and house manager. All the bedrooms have sea views, 3 have king size beds and the 4th has twin beds. All rooms have ceiling fans and each bed is airconditioned within the mosquito netting using the unique Evening Breeze air conditioning system which gives a cooled sleeping environment, yet allows for open windows and the sounds of the tropical night. Each bedroom has an ensuite shower/bathroom. The pool has an infinity edge which melts into the bay and there are steps down the cliff to a sunbathing platform from which you can snorkel over the reef at the entrance to Dian Bay. Our facility is clean, quiet and safe. We are a few minutes from the port for all cruise ships, 5 minutes away from Dickenson Bay Beach, up the street from restaurants and supermarkets. You can take the bus to the local market for fresh fruits and vegetables and of course fresh fish. This is a truly island experience, Brownies Bakery is around the corner you can get fresh bread and bun and cheese daily. The apartment is located within a local SPA.                   ABOUT THE HOME Pelican House was principally designed as a family home and has been used as such since it was built approx. 6 years ago. The area was chosen because of the stunning views and for its peaceful and restful ambience being in an area less populated and on the unspoilt side of the island. The home is set on high ground on the north eastern coast of Antigua affording commanding sights of Pelican Island and the surrounding coastline. In addition the location of the house takes advantage of the prevailing trade winds allowing a cooling breeze throughout the property. The three headlands that make up the Peninsula are surrounded by the shallow navigable waters of Belfast Bay which encourage breeding of tropical fish and turtles. Also sit back and enjoy the displays the pelicans put on for your delight. All rooms have access to a covered deck area/balcony and in most cases on two different aspects increasing access to the stunning panorama surrounding the property also allowing for some afternoon reading away from the sun. French doors throughout the house make it easy to take full advantage of the cooling breezes and glorious sunshine. Entrance to the property is through a large courtyard full of palms trees and giving access to the stairs leading up to the principle verandah of the house. The large and airy sitting room has double French doors opening on the verandahs to the east and west overlooking the swimming pool with its infinity edge. The sitting room is equipped with cable television, DVD player and high speed wireless internet connection and printer. ACTIVITIES Pelican House is situated in one of the most peaceful parts of the island which will suit those seeking a quiet and relaxing holiday. However, having said that there are more than enough things to do on the island should you wish to drag yourself away from the pool and that 'unput downable' novel you picked up at the airport. Some of those 365 famous beaches: Long Bay – the nearest beach to The Peninsula being only approx. 2km. Half Moon Bay – in my opinion one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean being deserted most of the time and recently identified as a National Park. Other beaches include Rendezvous Bay, Fort James, Jabberwock and Darkwood. Some of the landmarks of Antigua: Shirley Heights with its awe inspiring bluff overlooking English Harbour where on a Sunday evening you will be entertained by steel bands, reggae and soca music. Nelsons Dockyard set within English Harbour is Antigua's prized historic possession. It is not only a monument to the past with well documented history but is also a focus of activity and a year round home for yachts. There is a museum and visitors centre with a first class multimedia sound and light show. Bettys Hope – a sugar plantation established in 1674 and preserved as a monument to the slaves whose labour it exploited. For those seeking further cultural knowledge of the island there are a number of architecturally interesting churches such as the Cathedral of St John the Devine in St John's itself, a neo-Baroque building looking large over the town. St Peters Church - an architectural masterpiece in the tiny town of Parham. Finally a few of the sporting activities that can be found on the island: Antigua Clays – a newly built shooting ground on the edge of Potworks Dam Reservoir Springhill Riding Club – horse-riding Cedar Valley Golf Club – 6000yd par 70 course known for its sweeping views of the sea. The Peninsula itself is protected by a chain of small uninhabited islands with white sandy beaches and coral reefs that are easily accessible by boat should you wish to explore the area from the waterside. The three headlands that make up the Peninsula are surrounded by the shallow navigable waters of Belfast Bay which encourage breeding of tropical fish and turtles. The area is close to Long Bay making a trip to the beach taking about 10 minutes. To reach the beach you will pass through the village of Willikies which is a typical example of the local rustic architecture but affording facilities for the basic provisions such as bread and milk. The local inhabitants are friendly and extremely helpful. The whole island is full of happy, agreeable people and we always feel safe and at ease. One would only remind visitors to take the normal precautions when making excursions – keep jewellery to a minimum and take care of your personal possessions and keep them securely about your person.

The neighbourhood has been fenced in, and the neighbours look out for one another. There are also a handful of dogs that sleep by the gate to serve as warning if an unknown person or vehicle enters the lot. (Although Antigua is not a dangerous place). Getting AroundOur neighbourhood is central to many of the great attractions Antigua has to offer, like Stingray City, English Harbour, and snorkelling at Long Bay. But because our community is off the beaten path, we do recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay.                           Villa Azura occupies approximately 1.5 acres of very private land on the east coast of Antigua, surrounded by a tropical garden and trees. The property is on a small cliff with wonderful views of the ocean from every room. The views are spectacular, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean all the way to Africa to the east, Great Bird Island to the North, and all of Antigua to the west. Azura is a single storey building with a roof terrace on which to enjoy the sunsets with a cocktail in your hand, followed by the wonderful night sky and stars. The house is designed to be as open as possible to catch the breezes and enjoy the views. The 3 bedrooms all have unique four poster airconditioned beds which allow for the guests to sleep in cooled comfort whilst still keeping the window louvers open. Two of the bedrooms have interconnecting doors and one has twin beds which can be pushed together to make a kingsize bed. All the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with outdoor rainshowers. All rooms have ceiling fans and mosquito screens on door and window louvers. The swimming pool has a great infinity edge and overlooks the ocean with a wonderful view up the north east coast towards Great Bird Island the the North Sound. There is a gazebo with a large day bed and chairs to relax with a book in the shade and enjoy the views. The bird life is wonderful.
