The SpaceI have either a Queen size Bedroom OR Twin Single Beds in my very large and spacious apartment. One room has a queen size bed, the other room has two single beds (suits friends travelling together saving money on the one room) You choose which room you want. Each room is $130 per night. There are sliding glass doors off the both bedrooms to a generous balcony which overlooks the swimming pool and tennis court. Your own bathroom is right next to the bedrooms and has a separate bath and shower. My super sunny and large "very" spacious apartment is opposite a beautiful swimming beach and 200m away from the top class St Heliers shopping precinct. The village of St Heliers offers everything you can imagine and there really is no need to leave it for anything....however, if you do like to venture further, then there is the most fantastic boardwalk all along the seafront to the city and it passes beautiful busy bays and world class cafes all along the way. It is a flat and scenic walk. There is a secure underground carpark available should you require it but there is also ample parking right outside my front door. If you do not have a car then St Heliers is on a very handy bus route. My apartment is an absolute delight and is perfect for my guests to enjoy a fine wine in the front courtyard which overlooks the ocean or perhaps you would prefer a short stroll to the cafes, fine restaurants and bars just 200m away. I am often at my office which is just down the road so you will enjoy a lot of privacy although I may share an evening wine with you now and then. I assure you, you wont be disappointed with this accommodation. Full breakfast is supplied however it is self service. I am also very happy if you would like to take over the very spacious kitchen at any time and cook yourself a fabulous dinner. Feel free to fill up the fridge with your favorite things and enjoy the space. I love it when people feel at home. Interaction with GuestsInteraction with guests is as much or as little as they wish. The NeighborhoodThe neighbourhood is best described as like living at a luxury"beach resort". Getting AroundPublic transport is frequent and super easy.

The SpaceThis is a quiet, sunny two-bedroom apartment (1 of 3) with a modern kitchen and bathroom and a great outdoor living space. The guest bedroom is small, with a comfortable double bed, a set of drawers and closet space for your convenience. The outdoor deck soaks up the sun in summer and provides the perfect space to relax after your day exploring - you can enjoy a wine while watching the sunset. My preference is to host guests for short term stays, from a few days up to a few weeks. Guest AccessThe apartment has a shared kitchen, lounge and bathroom (shower/bath) with all the essential facilities, including a washing machine and access to wireless internet (no dishwasher sorry!). You’ll be encouraged to make yourself at home, cook a meal, surf the net, watch television or relax in the sun on the back deck. I have a rather eclectic selection of DVD movies or CDs to choose from and you’re welcome to borrow a book to read while you're here. There is plenty of free car parking available on the street. Interaction with GuestsI work full time during the week so the house is yours to enjoy during the day. I’m more than happy to help you out with things to see and do in Auckland, so you can make the most of your visit. I’ll provide you with plenty of information to familiarise yourself with the neighbourhood and how to get around town. The NeighborhoodSt Heliers is a safe and popular beachside suburb located east of downtown Auckland. It’s just a 10-minute walk from the house down to the village and beach. On a sunny day, St Heliers village has a real holiday feel about it, with the harbour water sparkling, golden sand and lots of people out and about. The beach is great for sunbathing, swimming and other water sports during the summer, with great views of Auckland’s iconic Rangitoto Island and the Hauraki Gulf. Tamaki Drive follows the waterfront from St Heliers all the way into the city and is popular amongst walkers, bikers and runners. It’s a relatively short walk to neighbouring Kohimarama beach and the very popular Kohi Cafe. Further along is Mission Bay beach and Bastion Point, the latter of which offers fantastic views of the Auckland CBD and Sky Tower. There is a range of eateries, to cater for all tastes, in St Heliers, Kohimarama and Mission Bay, including cafes, bars, fast food takeaways and fine dining. The local village sells almost everything - it includes a bakery, grocer, chemist, bookshop, clothes shops, a bank, travel agent, hairdresser, beautician, hardware store, library, a great ice cream shop and more! And if you need more than plunger coffee to get you up and going in the morning, the nearest café is virtually just across the road from where you’ll be staying. Nearby Dingle Dell Reserve and the Tahuna Torea Nature Reserve offer great walking/running tracks and the chance to explore some of New Zealand’s native flora and fauna. Getting AroundIf you’re heading into town, its only 15-20 minutes by bus and the nearest bus stop is just up the road. Buses run frequently to and from town, travelling along scenic Tamaki Drive. Other Things to NoteI prefer to host guests who are verified and have a profile - so I know at least a little about who is staying in my home.
