The SpaceThis room is my Asia room and has been decorated in Asian style with some lovely souvenirs I collected while working in China and some art from Japan and KL. Guest AccessGuests have access to a shared bathroom and kitchen, a DVDs library, a yard (if your happy to play with the dogs) and BBQ. Interaction with GuestsAs we share this area we will cross paths often, however the room is equipped with its own TV and DVD player for those times you just need your own space. All rooms are key locked for privacy and security. The NeighborhoodThe neighborhood is multicultural. As it is close to Curtin Uni many students from all parts of the world live here. There are a growing number of food outlets and entertainment within a short distance and it is very close to sporting venues and shopping. Getting AroundPublic transport couldn't be more convenient with 3 buses passing by in both directions in to the city and to major shopping areas. There is also a major bus station near by with buses that can take you almost anywhere and is extended by connections to train lines in all directions. If you have a car, it is close to main roads and freeways in to and around Perth. Other Things to NoteThere are some great apps you can download on your phone while here: Food - Menulog, eatnow or Delivery Hero. These all have a variety of food choices from many local restaurants, delivered direct to your door. Transport - Uber is a cheap private taxi service Triplify Australia - The ultimate travellers guide to what's on (events, festivals, street fairs, music and much more)

My place is a minute walk to the bus stand and 10 minutes to the connecting bus station or 15 minutes to the train station by bus. It is in a quiet and cozy location. 15 minutes to the Victoria park cafe stretch and shopping places. It is 20-30 minutes to the city. If you are looking for a budgeted place to be; this is it! I have basic kitchen facilities with microwave, refrigerator, gas cook top oven and a washing machine. I like my kitchen clean at all times. Wifi is available. A bit about me as well. I like meeting new people. I am very open to new things and I will help you with things as much as I can and as much as time provides me to. I can take you around to the city and if I get to go to someplace interesting I would be glad to invite you.

The NeighborhoodTaste the lifestyle of a typical Australian living in this suburb of Perth. Mostly clear blue sky, beautiful Sunny Autumn, Winter, Spring and of course Summer!! Neighbours are family orientated and peace and quiet would be much appreciated. Walk across the park and sit by the benches Watch the locals go about with their lives. Getting AroundJust walk a minute round the corner is where the bus stops are that take you to and from the city and the vibrant cappuccino strip where you can enjoy a wide variety of great cuisines. Mingle with the locals at the Supermarkets, restaurants and cafe. Sample the local food and saunter to the pubs' or simply browse through the Car's and Motorbike shops! There are more shops of course that cater to the Home-maker and ladies! Other Things to NoteWe can pick you up from the Perth Airport for just $20 and if you are staying more than a week, there is no charge for pick up and drop off. Grocery shopping service is available at $10 if required to be done before your arrival, Towels and soaps are provided but do bring your own personal toiletries.

The SpaceI have a flatette that is ideal for one or two people for a night, or short stay for a FIFO worker or a person/couple travelling. It's cheaper than a hotel room or backpackers but you still have all the home comforts ie. very comfortable double bed, bathroom with a great shower etc. and free wifi. Breakfast cereal, condiments and tea/coffee and hot chocolate have been provided for you and if you would also like to have lunch or evening meal it can also be supplied for an extra $10 per person. We are very close to all amenties like big shopping centre (Carousel), cinemas, Crown Casino, leisure centre (swimming pool, gym, sauna). There is a bus stop 20 mtrs from the door with busses that can take you into the city and to the above facilities. The Perth International and Domestic airports are not far and generally cost around $28-$32 in a taxi or $21 by UberX and takes about 10 minutes depending on traffic. If you think this would suit you then please contact me and I will be pleased to be your host. You have a separate entry with secure door locks to all adjacent doors for your comfort and privacy. We are happy to interact or respect guests privacy, leaving them to their own devices if that's prefered. This area is perfect for guests who prefer their stay to be private and uninterrupted. If you require anything at all, you will be provided with my mobile number so you can contact me at any time. The neighbourhood is usually student accommodation as it is close to education facilities, but is generally fairly quiet. There is a small shopping centre, liqour store and take away food shop within short walking distance, as well as many others a short drive or bus ride away. We have 3 buses that pass by approx. every 15 minutes. The train station is about 2.5 km away. Parking is availble if you have your own car. There are two lounge areas if guests require a separate quiet location for reading/working. NBN (fibre optic) WIFI is available to guests free of charge. The queen and two king single beds are made with quality linen and bedding. The third bedroom is cosy with a large single bed and built in robe. There is an upright washing machine, dryer and outside/inside clothes line for guest use. There is under cover parking for two vehicles and off street parking for a third if required. Guest AccessThere will be a key safe access to the home and sensor lighting to assist entry at night. Details of key safe code will be supplied close to arrival date. Guests have access to free NBN wifi Interaction with GuestsThere will be no interaction with guests except for prior to arrival through email or mobile. There will however be personal assistance for any problems that may arise during the guest's stay at the home. The NeighborhoodEmily Street is a small street in a quiet neighbourhood, walk to Albany Highway and start of East Victoria Park and Victoria Park cafe strip with numerous restaurants, shops and public transport to city and surrounds. Five minute walk to Berwick Street with a small shopping centre for basic supplies, including chemist and public transport. There is a public park a minute's walk from the house with a larger park on corner of Albany Highway and Hill View Terrace. Oats Street train station to the city is a five minute drive. Getting AroundThere are numerous bus options close to the house. The airports are a ten to fifteen minute drive, train station is a five minute drive, Murdoch Hospital/Fiona Stanley Hospital are fifteen minutes and the city a ten minute drive. Carousel shopping centre is also only ten minutes away. Curtin University five minutes. Bikes can be hired at the Causeway with beautiful bike paths around the Swan River. Other Things to NoteThere are two small steps for entry onto the front verandah as well as to the clothes line area behind the home. The Neighborhood- 2 mins drive⁄ 7 min bus ride to Vic Park strip cafes restaurants bars. - 1 min to IGA (5-10 min walk) - 20 mins to city driving, or 25 mins by bus - 4 mins to Coles, Woolworths - 5 mins to Cinemas & Carousel - Quiet small street Getting AroundThere is a bus stop 250m from the house. Bus schedules vary, please check (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps for real time directions, or (URL HIDDEN) Uber has also just started in Perth. I am happy to provide the occasional lift if going the same way. Other Things to NoteIt is recommended to have a rental car in Perth given public transport is not great. Also access to the city does not mean much as things are spread out.

APARTMENT FEATURES This spacious ground floor apartment is in a small quiet block of 18 apartments with a private entrance, clean, quiet and pleasant environment. It is fully furnished and fully functional. It has two bedrooms with spacious windows and good natural lighting: the main bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed whilst the second bedroom has a king single bed. Both bedrooms have spacious wardrobes and air-conditioning with nice simulated beech wood timber flooring. The lounge /dining area, main bedroom and second bedroom is fitted with individual air conditioning units. Controls is via the wall mounted unit. KITCHEN FEATURES The open kitchen has a large twin door fridge, oven, stove and microwave. Cutlery and crockery is supplied along with free tea and coffee making facility (free tea and coffee). The round dining table with four dining chairs makes dining here a cosy experience. WARNING: Do not place foil or metallic objects in the microwave. White colour leathers sofa and flat screen TV is in the lounge area. Living and kitchen area has beautiful large porcelain floor tiles. Private bathroom: with private toilet and shower, vanity. The unit is self contained and contains 1 double bed and 1 single bed.The upstairs unit may not be suitable for small children .
