The whole place is yours, so enjoy the privacy and the convenience. St Leonards is probably one the most conveniently located suburbs in Sydney. It is literally less than 15 minutes to anywhere. The lively Crows Nest Cafe and Restaurant precinct is just 10 minute walk away. Sydney City, Darling Harbour or the Rocks is just 15 minutes by train or 10 minutes by car. Both Manly and Bondi Beaches are just 15 minutes away. The hidden gem in Sydney’s harbour beaches – Balmoral Beach – is just 10 minutes away. The large shopping precinct of Chatswood is only 10 minutes away by car. You can jump on a ferry at Greenwich Point and be in the historic area of Balmain, full of iconic pubs and restaurants, in just 15 minutes. Hi speed (wireless) Wi-Fi internet available throughout the house. Our house has been designed on the premise of convenience – everything about the house is convenient and easy. The house comfortably accommodates 6 people. There are in fact up to 5 queen-sized beds available. The upstairs attic area is a beautiful and spacious area – a great place to escape to for some peace and quiet. The rear sandstone deck, which captures the afternoon sun is the perfect place to enjoy a few quiet drinks with friends. The very private lush front lawn it a great place to enjoy time with kids. LOCATION Our property is extremely well located to public transport. In fact you can choose between two train stations – St Leonards or Wollstonecraft – both about 5 minutes away. There is a little reserve at the end of our cul de sac street with a “backyard swing” and just around the corner is Newlands Park. This is perfect for kids or even gathering for a BBQ. If you are little more adventurous you can take the bush path all the way to Berry Island which is on Sydney Harbour and provides incredible views of the city. And it is just a 20 minute walk through beautiful bushland! The perfect thing to do to kick start your day! There is no shortage of restaurants and cafes at Crows Nest. You could visit a different restaurant here every night of your stay and would have only scrapped the surface of the variety of eateries in this area. HOUSE LAYOUT Lounge - equipped with 42 inch Internet Connected TV, X-BOX 360, iPad and iPhone docks connected to speakers. Dining - modern/contemporary dining table for eating/entertaining. Kitchen - One of the features of the home. Sky lights offer a bright homey feel. Lots of bench space on beautiful marble. Gas stove top and oven. Dishwasher. Nespresso Coffee Machine. Main Bathroom – Open plan wet/dry bathroom with a large, relaxing bath. Bedroom 1 – Polished concrete floors and exposed sandstone with plenty of wardrobe space and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 – Light and airy with plenty of wardrobe space. Play Room / Bedroom 3 – Full of kids toys and puzzles. Or open the Queen-sized Sofa Bed for an extra bedroom. Family Room – Comfy lounge and equipped with 42 inch TV, X-BOX 360, iPad dock connected to speakers. Leads directly on to rear sandstone deck. Includes Queen-sized Sofa Bed for an extra bed. Attic/Bedroom 4 – Light, airy and spacious room that has a Queen-sized Futon and fully equipped office. Double Lockup Garage and Laundry – If you have a hire car or large sporting equipment it can be stored in our large double lockup garage. Laundry includes a washing machine and easy access to the washing line. BOOKING NOTES 1. Please note outside holiday periods the minimum stay is 2 nights. The SpaceComfortable room with a desk; your own bathroom a couple of metres down the hall. Apartment has large living area and 3 balconies with a lovely resort style courtyard with tropical foliage and water feature. It's a relaxed and attractive place. 5 minute walk to the Crows Nest restaurant district with lots of great cafes and restaurants. Free super fast cable internet with 80 Mbps download speeds. Directly opposite the gym & pool "Fitness First" where your first visit will be free. You'll be sharing the apartment with us, we are a married couple working in IT with a baby boy born in Oct 2015 :-) Guest AccessWe'll give you detailed instructions how to find it when you book, and arrange to give you your own swipe card and key so you can come and go as you please. If you need pickup from the airport or station let us know. If arriving by car, there is an undercover secure guest car park which you can use to park your car at no extra charge. Interaction with GuestsWe are busy professionals working in IT so will probably not be around during the day on weekdays but you may see us in the evenings and weekends. If it suits us all we can arrange a traditional Aussie BBQ for you on the balcony overlooking our leafy courtyard. For food mostly you can either cook for yourself (the supermarket is close by) or take a short stroll to one of the many restaurants, pubs or cafes in the neighbourhood. The NeighborhoodSt Leonards is in a beautiful and safe part of Sydney hosting both business and residential. Public transport to both the city and north shore of Sydney is fast and easy. Crows Nest is 5 minutes walk away and has a large variety of restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs to choose from. It's a very safe area with lots of trees, and easy to get places by walking and public transport. Getting AroundEasy 3 minute walk to St Leonards station will take you to the centre of the Sydney CBD via the harbour bridge in only 20 minutes. Buses on Pacific Highway are a 3 minute walk away. From the airport it's about 30 minutes in a taxi or catch a train to St Leonards station in about 40 minutes. Other Things to NoteWe are a geeky married couple living in the apartment some years now and take pride in cleanliness and the technology in our home. We are accustomed to having a flatmate around and listed the room when the most recent one moved overseas. We are friendly and will help you if you need but will mostly just expect you to do your own thing as you wish, just be considerate please :-) We now have a baby boy born in October 2015. He's very good and sleeps in our room. You shouldn't really hear him as he mostly sleeps through the night and the walls are brick but thought he was worth a mention.

This train goes over the magnificent Sydney Harbour Bridge in to the CBD which takes about 20 minutes in total. Crows Nest is a very nice and vibrant hub with ample choice in food form all over the world. The main schoolping street willoughby road is full of boutique shops and nice restaurants. Other Things to NoteIf you need to stay longer than originally planned and the online calendar shows availability then please book accordingly through Air Bnb. We do not take cash for extended stays. Air bnb offers protection for both guests and hosts and is the best way to ensure there's no confusion about arrival and departure days & times for all parties.
