The SpaceWe love this place! Our beautiful home is situated on a gentle, sloping, fully cleared 3 acre lot. The front yard is a huge meadow that overlooks Star Valley. The backyard has a hot tub and full patio with close-up views of the Bridger-Teton National Forest. The location is phenomenal: private and secluded but not 'out in the boonies'. Star Valley Ranch has three 18-hole and one 9-hole golf courses, that are very reasonably priced and well-maintained. Just down the road about one mile is the Salt River, a gorgeous, gentle river popular for trout fishing, kayaking and tubing (easily and inexpensively rented right at the river). Horseback riding is plentiful and provides an absolutely incredible experience up into the hills. ATV/quad and snowmobile rentals are just down the street. We have a basketball court in the driveway (and a nice leather basketball for your use!). Our three cleared acres gently slope toward the valley and are great for snow sliding in the winter. We provide sleds and toboggans for your fun!
We have a gas grille/all utensils and fully outfitted decks/porches in front and back with spectacular views.
Inside is a 3,500 sq/ft home on three levels. The main entry level has a warm, inviting living room with a stone-wrapped gas fireplace and a 42" LED TV. This living rooms adjoins a fully stocked kitchen (appliances, utensils, pots/pans, etc., not food :-) ) with a brand new gas range/stove-top, microwave, large double-door fridge/freezer, island bar with 4 stools. and plenty of cupboard and counter space, double sink. Also adjoining this area is the dining room with a long, rustic dining room table. These three rooms open up via french doors to an expansive, furnished deck overlooking the meadow and Star Valley.
Also on this entry level floor are two large bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom has a new full-sized bed with beautiful pine furniture. The next bedroom has a gorgeous knotty pine bunk bed and twin bed set, along with 4 air mattresses and a fold up baby crib stored in the closet. Lastly, a huge Great Room adjoins this floor with all leather furniture - two over-sized leather couches, a recliner and a new 65" LED TV with Apple TV and Amazon Prime access, connected to the home's wifi system. (Note: all TVs in our home are connected to wifi and Apple TV and Amazon Prime so we can get at virtually anything online (Netflix, Hulu, Xfinity, etc.))
Upstairs is a large, beautiful loft with a rich office desk and chair in one corner (should you wish to conduct some business while here) and a new, oversized couch with a tremendous view of the valley through the massive windows. On this floor is the very large master bedroom, with a new king size bed, new cherrywood furniture, a gas fireplace, a large walk-in closet and a large, double-sink master bathroom. Quiet and romantic.
Downstairs is a full, finished basement. On the far end is a 'fourth bedroom" with a full size bed, nightstand, lamp and dresser. Next to it is a kitchenette with an apartment-sized fridge and a microwave, a brand new, roomy, clean full bathroom (with shower and tub). On the other end of this finished area is another 65" LED TV (Smart), a new sofa bed, several bean bag chairs, game table/chairs, ping pong table, loads of games and books - a perfect place for kids (or adults) to play and/or relax! It is a large space that can also easily accommodate up to four of the twin-sized air mattresses if your party is large and more (good) bedding is needed. It is truly beautiful and cozy. A finished, heated mudroom adjoins and leads out to the meadow, just below the 'upstairs' deck.
We have a two-car garage, but we keep one of our own vehicles in there year-round, so we share one space with guests to stow their sports gear.

The neighborhood of Star Valley Ranch spreads out on the Bridger-Teton National Forest foothills into the valley. It has three 18-hole and one 9-hole golf courses that are HOA subsidized and very inexpensive, yet well-maintained. The courses are a 5-minute drive from our home, as is Salt River, a beautiful fishing, kayaking and tubing river. Great horseback riding spots are plentiful here. We have a community pool at Star Valley Ranch, just 1 mile from home that charges just a few bucks a day to enjoy the family friendly pool. This is truly Wyoming at its best! Getting AroundOur driveway is very large and can hold easily 10-12 vehicles. We also provide two mountain bikes to help you get around 'naturally' - available in-season only. Other Things to NoteSmoking is fine, but it must be done outside. We provide ashtrays, and ask that you use them if you smoke and dispense from leaving butts on the ground. Thanks!
