A Friendly Bed and Breakfast set in beautiful countryside. The Georgian farmhouse is situated on the river as part of a working Hop farm. We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere and we take pride in providing luxury accommodation, quality local food and a warm,helpful service to all our guests. Double, Twin, Single and Family rooms are available. The rooms have river views and are all ensuite with tea & coffee making facilities, and colour televisions. Course Fishing is available on our own private pools and walking distance to barbel fishing on the renown River Teme with prior arrangement. Trout fishing can also be arranged at another location. Payment either by cheque or cash as no credit card facilities on site.

    The 25 acre hillside farm is situated at the end of a very long drive, set well away from the road with no surrounding properties. Why not escape from it all? Enjoy stunning views across the Teme Valley towards the Malvern hills, pick fruit in the orchard, stroll down to the brook, watch birds of prey or just relax and soak up the sounds of the countryside. Situated overlooking the Upper Sapey Golf course and the endless countryside beyond. Modern, spacious, and well equipped Faraway Barn is a perfect spot as a relaxing hideaway or a base to explore the area. Faraway Barn is detached, set away from the main house with a lovely private garden bordering the fields and vegetable garden, with sheep and chickens for neighbours. The accommodation consists of a large double bedroom with en-suite Bathroom, a twin room, a seperate shower room, Open plan Kitchen, lounge, dining living area. Double doors lead onto the patio and fully enclosed garden a perfect spot for outdoor dining, sunbathing or reading a book. The barn is set all on one level with no steps so is suitable for elderly or less able guests. Interaction with GuestsWe live in the house next door so you are able to come and ask questions whenever necessary. We will greet you and show you into your accommodation. We are happy to provide information and recommend enjoyable things to do in the area. You will be dealing with mainly myself but also the rest of the family. The NeighborhoodWe are surrounded by cherry and apple orchards; which are home to a large variety of birds. There are also woodland walks, streams and historic churches. The house and yard have beautiful gardens that guests will be able to preamble and we can recommend some good walks. We are 12 miles from the Malvern Hills for those who are keen walkers but there are many local walks straight from the cottage. Getting AroundFree car parking onsite. We are an hour an a bit from Birmingham International Airport. 30 minutes from Worcester Shrub Hill / Foregate Street. A car is essential as the nearest town, Bromyard, is a 5 mile drive. Other Things to NoteWe are a working farm so there are sheep, cows, horses, chickens, cats and dogs.

You will need a car, but you can easily walk up the track to the local pub at night if you don't want to drive. Other Things to NoteWe are next to a working farm so there may be some noise associated with a farm. There is a friendly cat who may greet you from time to time. As there is almost no traffic here please watch out for him if you stay. Although this room accommodates two people there is space for your own travel cot and baby, for no extra cost. The bathroom has a good shower for you to enjoy or if you prefer a long hot relaxing soak there is a lovely bath with plenty of hot running water. The house is in within easy reach of The Wyre Forest, Witley Court, The Severn Valley Railway and Bewdley Safari Park. The market towns of Cleobury Mortimier, Bewdley,Tenbury Wells, Malvern and the cathedral town of Worcester are easy day trips for both young and old. The medieval walled town of Ludlow, famed for its' food and festivals is also accessible within the hour across the stunning Clee Hills. The nearest shops are 3 miles at Clows Top and Abberley. There is an award-winning local pub in Pensax. The central heating , hot water and hob are all LPG and there is a wood burning stove in the kitchen & breakfast room overlooking the lake. Other amenities include a washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave and double electric oven. There are 2 TV sets, a DVD player and WiFi available.
