The Spacegreat spacious garden with lots of birdlife to feed. light filled home, even great in winter Guest Accessdownstairs bathroom, kitchen, their room (naturally) lounge. Interaction with GuestsI like to interact with my guests , always nice to meet new people and get to know them. I am also planning on doing small tours of local wineries and art galleries/studios at additional cost. I will be at house most times when my guests are there The NeighborhoodIt is an amazing village, and I have some incredible friends here whom it is possible for you to meet. If you're up for a party that can be arranged! There are two pubs both very different, a general store with a great coffee shop attached, post office, and a cellar door 5 mins away. It is farming country with lots of dairy and also horses. Getting AroundPublic transport is there but only during week and once a day, so not really that useful. If needed I could possibly take you around. Other Things to NoteThe nearest big town is Mt Barker with a lot of main retailers. Also there is a great bus service from there into the city if you need it.

The SpaceWelcome to rural paradise!! Set amongst rolling hills and big gums is our stunning homestead located in the heart of the Adelaide Hills only 45 minutes from Adelaide city. We are an Adelaide based family of 5. Although we do grasp any opportunity to escape to our exclusive retreat, sometimes our busy lifestyle gets in the way. The house is set on a 74 Acre Lot including 5 dams. We have Cows, Sheep, Wallabies, Deer and Chooks. There can be fresh farm eggs available for your brekky depending on the mood of the chooks. The house itself is comprised of 5 bedrooms, one king size, three queen and two double beds are available. Some also argue the most comfortable sleeping option in the house is the couch. There are 2 bathrooms and 4 toilets. Fully equipped kitchen as well as an outdoor pizza oven and barbeque. There are two flatscreen televisions, the downstairs tv also has a blu-ray dvd player. Upstairs is a bar and balcony. We a table tennis table, darts etc in an entertainment area overlooking the front lawn and dam. Our large front dam ( on Paris Creek) is filled with Carp and if you're lucky you may even catch a Redfin for dinner, whilst most of the dams have yabbies. There are plenty of fishing rods and hand reels in our garage. We also have some kayaks and a dinghy with safety vests provided. We are located in Paris Creek. Our nearest towns are Meadows 7km and Strathalbyn 11km. Strathalbyn being the bigger town has everything you need as far as supermarkets, restaurants and dvd stores go however you can't go past the famous Meadows Bakery!! Check is at 11am and check out is at 12 noon. One of us will be there at both to help out. Please contact us with any questions. We hope you love our home as much as we do and treat it with due respect. Unfortunately being a farm we are unable to allow dogs.

Guest AccessYou can be as private as you wish or communal. Quiet with wonderful view over our 5 acres. With easy access to not only heritage Strathalbyn but also Adelaide and beautiful beaches of Goolwa and Victor Harbor. Interaction with GuestsWe not only know South Australia and Adelaide well. I have driven through every State and almost every road on this enormous continent taking 3 years. And more than happy to guide you not only on the Internet but on my 160 page website. The NeighborhoodOur heritage town has some of the most picturesque and historic streetscapes in country South Australia. It has a predominantly Scottish heritage, first settled by Dr John Rankine, who emigrated with 105 other Scotsmen in the late 1830s. The town is set on the Angas River, with the Soldiers Memorial Gardens following the watercourse through the town. Is renowned for its antique and craft shops. The rugged Onkaparinga River National Park features South Australia’s second-longest river as it slices through a steep valley and descends into an impressive gorge containing large rock pools. Coorong National Park is a long, narrow ribbon of saline wetlands, saltpans, coastal dunes and wild ocean beaches stretching for 150 km along the Young-husband Peninsula on South Australia’s mid-south coast. Its beaches face the blustery winds of the Southern Ocean but behind a chain of tussocky dunes is a sheltered sliver of shallow lagoons, which is a world-recognized sanctuary for thousands of shorebirds. Getting AroundWe have safe off-street parking, a local taxi service with access to public buses.
