Hike, bike, enjoy a round of golf 2 minutes up the hill, or just relax and unwind. The chalet was built in 1917. For 21 years it was the home of my godmother, Dorothy Cornell, grand-daughter of the founder of Cornell University. The first floor guest suite exudes "old world charm", a delightful combination of antiques and modern amenities for unpretentious, homey comfort. Guest and owner's entrances are on opposite sides of the house providing complete privacy. We welcome those who will appreciate this expansive quiet country setting and unpretentious comfort. We want guests to thoroughly enjoy their time here. However, we are not a "party house" for a noisy weekend get-away and expect "Quiet time" after 11 p.m. Restaurant .5 mi; Polly's Pancake parlor just down the street...
