The SpaceThis tree/beach house is located in a truly unique setting, near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, where the rainforest meets the sea. Walk up a set of stairs and you're in the beautiful Noosa National Park. The studio apartment occupies the lower storey of a highset house, with it's own private access and a track leading to nearby Sunshine Beach. From the windows you look out on to a rainforest backdrop, where birdlife abounds. The doors open on to a timber pool deck where you can simply sit, relax and unwind. Inside there is a comfy Queen size bed, TV, sound system, wifi sofa bed and chairs.
The kitchenette has cooking facilities with a microwave/ convection oven, fridge, portable hotplate, electric frypan, kettle, toaster and pod coffee machine. A complimentary welcome continental breakfast is included - muesli , fresh fruit, yoghurt and juice, crumpets and honey. A selection of teas and pod/ plunger coffee are also supplied.
The shower/ bathroom area is clean, new and modern and has access to the outside deck. It comfortably fits two people, however the sofa bed would conceivably accommodate an extra person if required. Guest AccessGuests will have access to and use of the entire lower storey of the house, including natural swimming pond and outdoor shower, garden area, timber deck with chairs and sunlounges, own bbq and shared laundry facilities. Boogie boards and bikes are also available to use. Interaction with GuestsI love to meet people from places near and far and will be happy to share some local knowledge of this beautiful part of the world with guests.
I'll be there to meet and greet you and be available if you have any queries during your stay. The NeighborhoodMy neighbourhood is really cool! Not only do you have the beauty of nature at your doorstep, but it is a pleasant ten minute stroll to the leafy, relaxed atmosphere found at Sunshine Beach village. Here you'll find an assortment of funky cafes and bars, restaurants and specialty coffee shops. Lots of options for indoor/outdoor eating and takeaway, as well as a convenience store to stock up on any essentials.
Noosa Heads is nearby, with the famous 'eat st.' - Hastings St., river mouth and beach. Explore the National Park, catch the sunset from the lookout, kayak on the river, swim, surf, admire the dolphins and other marine and wildlife. This really is a little piece of Paradise. There's so much to see and do, equally it's a beautiful environment if you want to simply kick back, relax and regenerate.
Getting AroundOnsite parking is available and local buses can also be found close by, which connect with the bus transit Centre at Noosa Junction. Shuttle buses are readily available from both Sunshine Coast and Brisbane Airports - either door to door, or to Noosa Heads which is only a 5 minute drive. Other Things to NoteCurrently the swimming pool is being converted from a chemical pool to a natural swimming pond, complete with plants and fish. It may take some time for the ecosystem to become balanced and the water clear, however it will bring an added dimension and biodiversity to the natural environment.
Mostly there will be one or two people, a dog, and two cats occupying the upstairs storey, with family visiting for the weekend. We'll endeavour not to disturb you as much as is humanly possible.
