The SpaceI live in a wonderful unit in a very peaceful and quiet neighbourhood.
Living in Burwood, Melbourne we have the best of both worlds. Quiet suburban life at night, and being only 15km from the Melbourne CBD, the cosmopolitan and multi-cultural city that Melbourne is just a tram ride away.
The house is located a 45-50 minute direct tram ride to the centre of Melbourne city (the tram stop is just a 10 minute walk with trams departing every 15 minutes all the way past midnight). The neighborhood is full of cafés, parks, restaurants, shops, gym and supermarkets.
This house would suit someone who is looking to experience Melbourne on a budget without having to have the worry of finding an apartment in the city centre. Having travelled all around the world myself I know exactly how beneficial it can be to save money on accommodation whilst still making the most of your trip!
A private bedroom is yours and a shared bathroom. As a guest you will sleep on a real bed with your own wardrobe. Wifi is included. The neighbourhood is quiet so you will be guaranteed a good sleep!
The apartment has a full bathroom (toilet, basin, shower), a dining area, two bedrooms, and a kitchen (stove, fridge, freezer, sink, juicer, microwave and oven). You are welcome to use the kitchen as you like!
Anyone who stays will be provided with a towel for the bathroom and any laundry can be done using the washing machine.
The house is located: 15-20 mins walk from Deakin University Burwood Campus. It is about 20-30 minutes by public transport to Monash University and about 15 minutes public transport to Box Hill.
Aidan was born in Melbourne and his background is from Mongolia and Hong Kong. He has lived in Colombia and speaks three languages. A wanderlust at heart, Aidan has travelled to more than 40 countries. I would be more than happy to show you around the city and tell you where to find the best, cheapest, most fun, or most charming bars, restaurants, sites, museums, etc. Getting AroundTake Tram number 75 to the city and back.
