Interaction with GuestsOur staff are always available to cater to your needs and the Operations Manager will be present during your stay The NeighborhoodThe Buenavista Family Inn sits in the heart of Barangay Farola. This obscure, tiny fishing enclave, made famous by the small lighthouse "Farola" that stands and looks out onto the sea to warn seafarers, mariners and small boaters of submerged rocks, shoals and dangerous rip currents, is also the landing site of The Belgian Missionaries who founded Saint Augustine's School (SAS). The expansive grounds covering about 4,000 square meters sports Ponderosa Chico trees, giant Santol Bangkok trees, towering mahogany trees, willowy clumps of Panda Bear spiny bamboo, dwarf mango trees and various flowering plants. The thick green foliage canopy renders the entire facility very cool and airy, well ventilated, shady and breezy. The tranquil surroundings readily lend a feeling of calm and serenity, peace and quiet to your rest and relaxation sojourn, or group conferences-meetings-seminars, or your couple's weekend get-away from the humdrum of city life, or for just a night's stay from the rigors of traveling. The Farola beach where the famous lighthouse is located is about 400 meters away. There's a JTC mall and 711 store down town if you wish to shop or buy personal necessities. Getting AroundTricycles are always available should you need public transportation to go downtown Tagudin. Other Things to NoteDesigned following and using the "native motiff" the cottages have cogoon grass roofing and bamboo siding. When it rains, the cogoon grass roofing dampens the beating sound of the raindrops softening the rhythms into sounds of silken Latin maracas rushes, much like brush swishes on snare drums. The bamboo sidings that adorn the outside walls give it a "homey" touch that is highly reminiscent of the grass huts that dot the Philippine Cordillera grassland regions. Spacious inside, each cottage is a complete house done in miniature. You will find quality, comfort and value in the modern amenities. Go ahead, luxuriate on your bed and let the breeze waft through the window. Breathe in the fresh salty air of the South China Sea. We know you will enjoy your stay. We want you back! Our towels and linens are of imported quality. We use a split-type air conditioning unit, which is very quiet, unlike the noise that is normally heard on window type AC units. Our bathrooms are equipped with hot/cold shower stalls. The Buenavista Family Inn has a security guard on duty 24 x 7. We also have surveillance cameras around the property.

The SpaceThis is a vacation house or getaway weekend house. It is set in the center of municipality of Santa Cruz, which is located in one of the most laid back country side settings - some old Spanish traditions & struckture still exist. Visit the three centuries old Church and Municipality. Guest AccessYou can even host a party here, my last visit is just September, 2015 and we hosted an event for 200+ and we just manage it fine. Or take your family and spend a bonding time together. Or a retreat house for your classmates or business associates. Interaction with GuestsAmboy is my cousins who is the caretaker. I love his authentic cooking of Ilocano Dishes - My favorite are: Kilawen Goat, Pinakbet & some Market catch of the day fish, either grilled or Sinigang... Ummm Yummy.

The NeighborhoodThis has been happy family home for many years as my family started to have their own families and start to migrate overseas. As the youngest grandchild in the family, I wanted to keep the spirit alive and continue to share the blessings our home has given us over the years. The house is at the heart of a very humble village - San Jose, Sta Cruz. The village is tucked away on a hill surrounded by lots of greens and acres of farmland. If you love nature and being outdoors. You may choose to go trekking to discover a number of virgin waterfalls (Baluarte Falls and Boguibog Falls), passing through chilled and fast flowing streams. Spend the afternoon with a boodle fight lunch while being refreshed by the cool breeze from the fall of the hitting the bottom. If you love romantic evenings, you may choose to catch the serenity of the sunset along the beach (30 minutes drive away). If you love the taste of locally brewed wine, visit a local sugarcane winery after a trip from the falls for wine tasting. Even better purchase to drink at home privately or to share with a few locals. We have a friendly neighbourhood who love to entertain and willing to help with anything, I mean absolutely anything. Probably the reason I continue to go back and continue to give back. Getting AroundThe best rides to get to the falls are motorbikes. Baluarte Falls takes about 15mins by motorbike ride and 25mins trek while Boguibog Falls take about 20mins motorbike ride and 30 mins trek. Both have entry fees of Php5 per head which goes towards the maintenance and cleaning of the falls. The winery is about 20 mins motorbike ride from the house, but approx 30mins from both waterfalls. If you are adventurous and lucky enough to catch a jeepney coming back down the mountains, you can request to ride on top of the jeep back to the house for a fee. Motorbike hire is also available at the house. There are available very helpful local tour guides to help you get to these places for a small fee. There are also tricycles available in the village to take you around. Other Things to NoteKuya Randy is a huge pet lover and is an owner of two friendly dogs, however they are not allowed to enter the house. You wont need to set your alarm, there are free range chickens that may wake you up ready for your next adventure. Food can be purchased in the village from little shops (tindahan) or you may purchase from the town centre (palengke).

A typical 1850's Vigan house, is transformed into the city's most charming hotel." -National Commission for Culture & the Arts Built by Gobernadorcillo Agapito Florendo y Bonifacio in 1870, Villa Angela stands proudly on a 2,000 square meter lot as a shining example of a Vigan Heritage House. Being a rich depository of the family's relics and memorabilia acquired through the years, This Villa is a showcase of the family's past and present standing in the Vigan community. This Villa has been the venue of many historical and social gatherings in the Vigan of yesteryears, and remains so today, as a preferred venue for both grand and intimate gatherings, garden weddings, baptismal parties and even retreats, seminars, workshops and training courses for various groups and organizations. In fact, on December 24, 1988, with the restoration almost complete, the house was able to serve as a lasting memento of the Golden Wedding Anniversary of then-owners Engr. Candelario V. Verzosa, Sr. and Dra. Purificacion Lahoz-Verzosa, who have since bequeathed this home and this treasure, to the family's present-day generations.
