The NeighborhoodThis is the perfect place if you are thinking to spend some days in a green environment. It's quiet, you will mostly hear birds around. Mountains circle the house. The sun is with us all day long, from 6am to 6pm. At night, you can see dozens of stars from the rooftop, quite amazing for Hong Kong. Getting AroundWe are in HK, there is nothing you can't find around. In Tai Po you've got supermarkets such as Welcome (10 minutes walk from home), Park n Shop, Yata (Japanese supermarket). There is a Physical Fitness. You can quickly access Taipo wet Market, one of the biggest fresh market in Hong Kong with hundreds of stalls selling fresh fruits, fresh veggies, fresh meat, fresh fish and grouping many local restaurants.
Sha Tin is 20 minutes away and has massive malls with around 300 shops (H&M, Zara, Gap, Mark&Spencer, mobile phone shops, 40 restaurants, ...).
You will be in Central (HK Island) in 55 minutes, in Tsim Sha Tsui in 45 minutes, in Kowloon Tong in 30 minutes and in Shenzhen in 25 minutes.
Julien knows Hong Kong very well so he can suggest you places. Don't hesitate to tell him about your plan as he often has tips to save you time or make your discovery more enjoyable. Other Things to NoteI had a few bad experiences from people who are obviously not familiar with Airbnb's terms of services so to avoid any issue :
* If you book for 2 persons, i expect to see 2 persons, not 3. If you arrive with more persons than what is stated in the booking, you won't check-in.
* If one of the guest is below 11 years old, you won't check-in. For security reasons, i can't let a child in.
* If you decide to leave the place during your stay, you can but there is no refund (unless the reason is totally independent from your will).
