The Yurt and House Truck provided a unique, peaceful and tranquil setting. The accommodation is extremely well maintained and beautifully presented, and our family loved our stay. We would highly recommend this as a relaxing destination.
Te Paamu Retreat is a place like no other. What a gorgeous, relaxing, magical world to enter into for a few precious days. Thanks so much Amiti and Richard for having us stay. Yurt is beautifully crafted and housetruck charming and full of character. Fabulous hosts. We will certainty be back.
We loved staying at the Yurt. It's a very special place and you can feel the love and care that has gone into putting it together. The location is beautiful and very rustic. Perfect to get away from everything
A wonderful, wonderful retreat! Our sons (9 and 7) thought they had gone on holiday in a 'Famous 5' book, what with rope swings, waterholes, orchards and their very own house bus! The facilities were great, the yurt was very glam, and the house bus just adorable ... and what a pleasure to have no TV! Easy drive onto Takaka for supplies ... could happily have stayed for much, much longer.

There are many artists living in the area, so lots of galleries to see. Also some great cafes and lovely interesting shops.
