The SpaceAt Karinya Country Retreat & Farmstay, we have beautifully appointed bedrooms, with access to a shared bathroom with bath and shower. A second shared toilet and powder room is also available for guests.
For those that would like to get involved in the farm activities, guests can enjoy a stroll around the farm, help collect the eggs and tend to the chickens, groom horses, feed the cattle, go Kangaroo spotting, watch hot air balloon landings in the cattle paddock, and much more. Why not enjoy damper and billy tea, or a night time campfire dinner (by prior arrangement)?
We also offer beginner horse riding lessons, trail rides (intermediate riders) and led pony rides at an additional cost by prior arrangement.
If relaxing is more your style, simply stretch out on the bed with a book, relax in the garden, or take a picnic by the dam or nearby river. Even better still, why not enjoy an in-room beauty treatment to really relax and rejuvenate...Our qualified Beauty Therapist is available by prior appointment for facials, massage etc. (extra charges apply).
Guests / groups wishing to celebrate a special occasion might be interested in the luncheon or dinner options available and we also do High Tea.
Guest Bedroom 1 can comfortably accommodate 3 guests and consists of a double bed and a single bed. We can provide a high quality fold-out single bed if required for a 4th guest.
Guest Bedroom 2 can comfortably accommodate 2 guests. This room can be configured to accommodate 3 guests in either 3 single beds, or 1 double bed and 1 single bed in the room depending on your preferences.
The bedrooms and homestead are beautifully appointed and immaculately presented, making you feel welcome and relaxed.
Horse riding/lessons, picnic hampers, BBQ packs, welcome packages, beauty treatments, campfire dinners, high tea, and casual or formal dining are available for an additional charge. Please enquire with your host when making a booking.
Horse agistment is available on request, and dogs can stay outside by prior arrangement (extra charges apply). Guest AccessGuests have access to their appointed bedroom and shared bathroom, as well as a small sitting room with television and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests can sit outside on the patio, or enjoy a stroll around the gardens and farm.
Access to the main areas of the homestead is available to guests for meals. Guests may choose to join the host family or dine separately for casual or formal dining (charges apply).
Please note, we do not have self-catering facilities or access to the kitchen.
We also offer picnic hampers for those who want to take a drive to a near-by waterhole or picturesque picnic spot; and BBQ packs are also available for guests who wish to cook their own BBQ (charges apply). Interaction with GuestsGuests may choose to dine with the Host(s), enjoying country-style home cooked meals. If you prefer to dine separately or eat out, that's okay too!
We are available to offer support and information about local sight seeing and places to eat. Tour guides and brochures are also available.

There are plenty of markets, wineries, mountain walks/drives, restaurant's, coffee shops and antique trails to explore.

There is no shortage of things to do and beautiful scenery to take in. Perhaps a trip to The Lost World, Christmas Creek, Tamborine Mountain, Canungra, Rathdowney or Mount Barney will soothe your soul...? Getting AroundWe are conveniently situated 60km from Brisbane and 80km from the Gold Coast for those guests who want to explore the city and surrounds, or perhaps the Gold Coast and Theme Parks. Tamborine Mountain and Canungra are a leisurely drive through the country-side and easy to access to coffee shops, antique trails, gifts, wineries and restaurants.
There is no public transport from our property, so guests will need to have a car to get around.
Jimboomba and Beaudesert Town Centres are 10 minutes away, with access to some great cafe's, country pubs, art gallery, cultural centre and major supermarkets. Other Things to NotePrice per night includes a light continental breakfast.

Check-in time is normally after 3:00pm if arriving on a Friday. However we do have flexibility to allow earlier check in on many dates, so please enquire about this when you make your booking.
If staying on a Sunday night - checkout time is strictly 8:00am Monday.
