The eldest of the four brothers, Yudistra is described in the Mahabharata as a master of the spear and bearing "complexion like that of pure gold, possessed of a prominent nose and large eyes, and endued with a slender make." Ruler of Hastinapura and known as the Dharma Raja (Most Pious One), he is the principal protagonist of the epic. Yudistra's color is purple and his fragrance is lavender and lemongrass. Large glass sliding doors face out onto the massage pavilion by the pool and the jungle flora beyond, while on the perpendicular glass wall lays a lush garden of palms and other greenery. As with all the villas, the king size teak bed features a King Koil chiropractor mattress covered in high-thread count cotton bed linen and a hand-painted silk top sheet with an embroidered pattern inspired by the crown of a king. Other furnishings are minimal except for an oversize chaise lounge and a couch upholstered in soft beige fabric the color of which complements the purple wall. Directly above the bed is a high ceiling with a hand carved centerpiece while flanking are rattan lamps that add a nice warm glow to the room. The adjoining salon includes a built in oversize wardrobe and double vanity while the partial open-air en suite bathroom features white pickled wall finish, landscaped border, double copper sink, oversize shower head and copper tub that can easily accommodate two.

The second Pandawa brother and the strongest and most ferocious of the four, the Mahabharata describes Bhima as a vengeful giant who if offended "are never suffered to live. He never forgets a foe. On some pretext or other he wreaks his vengeance." His white and grey checked sarong is his battle dress while his fragrance is spearmint, green tea and jasmine. The very bright and cheery villa faces the grand wooden deck and infinity pool on one side and the expansive common area on the other. The white and grey checked wall mural provides a funky fa栤e to the room that is minimally decorated in other respects, save a TV couch and oversize navy blue chaise lounge. A king size teak bed in the spacious room's centerpiece and is covered in the same quality bed linen and hand-painted silk bedspread as the other villas, while hand painted silk curtains complement the room colors as well. A hand carved wooden relief is once again the high ceiling's decorative 3D feature while a photograph of Bali life and an abstract painting adorns the walls. Next is the salon room and wardrobe with adjoining bathroom that mirrors the other open-air bathrooms and small gardens. Outfitted with modern amenities and a copper tub for two, the space also includes a hand carved stone relief of Bima the giant himself.

Described as "the most handsome person in the whole world, versed in every question of morality and profit and endued with high wisdom," Nakula was, also like his twin brother Sahadewa, a master with the sword and devoted valiantly to his brothers. His color is orange and his fragrance is citrus Bali breeze. This room with a view overlooks a neat little garden patch and the beautiful valley beyond where the river Tandau runs through it. Front facing through the large sliding glass doors is the pool deck and mini pavilion that provides shade for two daybeds. As with the other villas, the richly colored silk bedspread has the same crown motif as the silk curtains and is a perfect complement to the bright wall and similarly upholstered chaise chair. In keeping with the layout of the other villas, there is a salon cum powder room with oversize wardrobe and vanity. The en suite bathroom has a carved stone relief of Nakula above the grand copper tub and features quality fixtures from the faucets to the sinks to the shower.

The youngest and most favored of the Pandawas clan, also a formidable swordsman and skilled musician, he is described as "heroic, intelligent, wise and ever wrathful, there is not another man equal unto him in intelligence or in eloquence amid assemblies of the wise." Yellow is his color and vanilla and sandalwood are his fragrances. This bright, sunlit villa faces a garden on one side and the pool deck to the front. The back wall is painted warm ochre yellow and features a traditional mural depiction of Sahadewa himself. The king size bed is top sheeted with a hand-painted silk bedcover that matches the yellow wall and the oversized chaise lounge is upholstered in soft, mustard yellow fabric representing Sahadewa's color. As with the other villas, Sahadewa has a salon room with vanity and built in wardrobe and an adjoining en suite open-air bathroom outfitted with modern fixtures and a large copper tub fit for two.

The SpaceNEW INTRO OFFER IMPORTANT: This introductory offer reflects that the current temporary access is via a rice field path. Although beautiful and used daily by the local community, we consider that (at present) it would be unsuitable for elderly or infirm visitors. Hati Suci (Clean or Pure Heart) is the name of our property. There are four houses on the property. Hati Suci has been built as a tranquil home with three extra guest houses. The antique wooden structures have personality and rustic luxury running throughout. The owners personal taste and belongings add to the warmth and homeliness of the total property. The property, however, also suits as a small intimate retreat space. It is peaceful and luxurious, situated just outside a village, with all the community and spirituality of traditional Balinese life. The main house has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one with a large open air bath. It also has a well equipped kitchen, a sumptuous wooden dining table capable of seating sixteen, and a spacious living area that can be used as a meditation or yoga space. Two of the guest houses have their own equipped kitchens and terraces, all three have bathrooms and stunning views. All five bedrooms have their own safe, big enough to hold a 17 inch laptop. A 13m swimming pool is central to the property, surrounded by the maturing garden. A large comfortable Bale (covered seating area) is next to the pool, with other comfortable seating areas in abundance. Nearby, a covered traditional grass roofed building holds two hammocks and a swing chair for guests use. The 13m pool is 1.4m deep and will shortly be converted into a salt water pool. Hati Suci has been built with a conscious effort towards sustainability and permaculture. We have a passive solar water heating system, non chemical waste water treatment, rain catchment and gardens that are chemical free. Consequently a piping hot shower might not be available on cloudy days. However, Bali weather obliges us most days for hot water. The Garden consists of vegetable gardens, herb areas, newly planted fruit trees and tropical planting. Any produce is available for your personal use. It is an ever evolving work in progress. There is also a fish pond, integral to the waste water system. Our gardeners take pride in this project based on permaculture principles. Flowers, butterflies and birds are plentiful. Wi-Fi Internet is included (please bring your own laptop or tablet). PLEASE NOTE: This property is on the edge of living, working rice fields and jungle and there are creatures around. The property is thoroughly cleaned daily (including the beds stripped and swept), but the odd ant, frog, lizard or other local creature may encroach on occasion. We do not have AC, and choose to take advantage of the natural breezes. PETS: John and Mike are the two cats at Hati Suci. They are effective and necessary in keeping some wildlife out of the houses. Affectionate yet independent they are part of the rental. Our staff will take care of their needs. We ask that you treat them with respect. We have easy access by motorbike or car (taxi services can be arranged) to Ubud, the cultural centre of Bali. The 20 minute drive is breathtaking, winding through the jungle, rice fields, river valleys and several traditional villages. Ubud abounds with restaurants, shops, spas, yoga, cooking, batik and art classes along with many healing modalities. It has several art galleries and a museum. Evenings offer Balinese dance performances, Fire ceremonies and Gamelan. We are a one and a half hour drive from the airport, one hour from the nearest beaches and half an hour from Kintamani, which is on the edge of the volcano, Mount Batur. Hati Suci and the surrounding rice fields themselves are in a unique and tranquil setting. Higher than Ubud towards the foothills of the volcano, it is tropical but not as hot as the beach areas. There are fewer mosquitoes but wildlife is abundant. Hati Suci has a manager, two housekeepers and a gardener. Laundry can be done for an additional fee. Also some local restaurants deliver to the house, menus are provided. The three smaller wooden houses have raised open terraces, with kitchens and lounging areas underneath. Guest AccessCurrently, access to the property is via a 4 minute walk along the rice field path, which is maintained regularly but is made of earth. It is beautiful, authentic, used daily by local rice farmers but it is uneven, unlit and we think unsuitable for elderly or infirm visitors. A permanent brick path is planned but as yet not completed. The swimming pool is a shared area between guests as is the pool Bale (covered seating area), and garden shelter. Interaction with GuestsThere is daily cleaning, pool maintenance and gardening included. Our manager will be at hand and we provide an Indonesian mobile with useful numbers and contacts. Daily offerings are made at the houses and temples on the land by our Balinese help. Should you want complete privacy at any time, then we will fully respect that, just please let us know, however, offerings have to be accommodated at some time most days. The NeighborhoodThe village we are located in is traditional, and in it's own way, unique. There are views from the land towards Mount Agung and one of the major water temples of Tirta Empul is 4 kilometres away in Tampaksiring. There are local warungs (eating places) in the village and a large traditional market selling fruit, vegetables and livestock in nearby Pujung. We have a growing number of more western restaurants a short ride away and small local shops selling daily essentials are close. We are about 20 minutes by scooter or car from Ubud where there are hundreds of restaurants, spas, yoga schools, great shopping and a large vibrant daily market. Getting AroundScooters are our preferred method of getting around. They are cheap, and beat the traffic in the larger towns. We have several motorbikes for rent for 60,000 Rupiah per day. We also have a number of bicycles for use free of charge by the more energetic guests. Cycling through the winding local lanes can be a beautiful way to see the island and our surroundings. We also have at hand several local taxi drivers some of whom speak excellent English. Tours can be arranged through our manager if you wish. We advise guests to bring with them International Driving Permits as the local Police often perform spot checks. Other Things to Note1. The rental includes our manager, there are two housekeepers and a gardener. 2. If possible bring a photocopy of your passport , it is required by law that all visitors be registered, and this will eliminate the need for your actual passport to be taken to the police station. 3. Mobile phones are available for your use. 4. There is unlimited internet access included with the house. Please be patient, Bali is not a first world country and occasionally internet lapses for short periods. 5. This is a safe area, however we are not responsible for any valuables left in the house. There is a strong secure safe in each bedroom, please keep your travel documents, money, laptops and any other valuables in there. 6. We can provide a laundry service, An information sheet with itemised prices is in the houses. 7. We are in the middle of the working rice fields and, occasionally, usually for brief amounts of time, there can be issues with the electricity or internet. Please be patient, it is normally back on fairly quickly. 8. Our water supply is stored rain water with emergency top up through piped spring water. Our manager and gardener will monitor supplies. 9. Toilet and bathroom waste is managed through an organic waste water system using worms. Please never use bleach or strong chemicals, although the system copes with normal shampoos and soaps. Please use the bins provided for toilet paper and sanitary towels. Thank you. 10. Also, the area is teeming with birds and wildlife, occasionally these creatures might "trespass" ... they have no idea of what man-made boundaries mean. The staff clean thoroughly daily, so be assured we move them on and there are no actual "residents". 11. We have excellent reasonably priced massage therapists, manicurists etc. who can be scheduled at the property. Massage beds are available at the property. 12 . We've already said it but John and Mike are the two resident cats that live here, with whoever is hosting. They are friendly and efficient at keeping unwanted small animals out of the house and our staff will feed them. We are sorry but their residency is non negotiable :-) Thank you.

The SpaceWe are offering a special reduced rate on this property for the next month as we have some light construction work going on. When guests are on the property they will do the quietest tasks, so guests will be considered at all times. We can comfortably accommodate 3 people, there is an extra charge of $20 per person per night for each person over this number. There is one double bed and one single, and we do not have any extra portable beds on the property. There is a full sized saltwater pool, sitting overlooking the jungle. Breakfast is not included in the price, but we have a menu, and all meals can be prepared to order. Besides our on site restaurant there are several lovely restaurants quite close by and we can arrange delivery with advance notice, (menus can be found at the house), and there are several other warungs (eating places) in the area. There is a fully equipped kitchen at the house should guests choose to self cater. We took an old Javanese teak building (lumbung), creatively adapted it to the environment with various local materials, and transformed it into a unique and functional living space. It is completely self contained and private, with a koi/lotus pond and bridge for entry, fully equipped outdoor kitchen, stone work outside bathroom, terrazzo tub, and countless great unique features. Access is a 5 minute walk along a paved rice field path, ensuring more of the real Bali experience, but not for the extreme elderly or infirm. As noted, all of our homes (except the jungle huts) are made from old reclaimed wooden Javanese houses. Each is completely unique and we have adapted them to provide the maximum light and spaciousness in keeping with the natural environment. Consequently what we have aimed for is light and nature rather than soundproofing. This is not the right property for those who want to party or make a lot of noise. Each house is private and self-contained but still they are adjacent to one another. If someone has booked the whole property then of course they can do as they wish, within reason, (and that does include the rental of our neighbours property… everything is quite close), we also do not want to disturb the village! So please note that when considering our property, this is a place for those looking for calm and quiet, (although the frogs and roosters can be quite loud!). Nature rules here and our objective here is to be in tune with it rather than drowning it out. We thank all future guests for appreciating and respecting this. Please do not negotiate on the price, we are not charging high or low seasonal rates, and we are priced to function effectively while giving our guests the best value for their money. Thank you for respecting this. The 10m pool is currently shared by 8 different homes, although it is rare for all to be occupied at the same time, unless the entire property is rented as a whole. We have easy access by motorbike or car (taxi services can be arranged) to Ubud, the cultural centre of Bali. The 30 minute drive is breathtaking, winding through the jungle, rice fields, river valleys and several traditional villages. Indrani and the surrounding rice fields themselves are in a unique and tranquil setting. Higher than Ubud towards the foothills of the volcano, it is tropical but not as hot as the beach areas. There are less mosquitoes but wildlife is abundant. Indrani has a manager, cleaner and gardener. Laundry can be done for an additional fee. The property is completely private and self contained with a living fence dividing it from adjacent properties. Those adjacent properties being similar converted old teak buildings. There is excellent wi-fi, a clear view of rice fields and jungle, car or scooter parking just 5 minutes away. PLEASE NOTE, THIS PROPERTY IS ON THE EDGE OF LIVING, WORKING RICE FIELDS, AND JUNGLE AND THERE ARE CREATURES AROUND. THE PROPERTY. IT IS THOROUGHLY CLEANED DAILY (INCLUDING THE BEDS STRIPPED AND SWEPT), BUT THE ODD ANT, FROG, LIZARD OR OTHER LOCAL CREATURE MAY ENCROACH ON OCCASION. IF YOU ARE SQUEAMISH, SENSITIVE OR HAVE ANY KIND OF AVERSION TO SUCH A POSSIBILITY, THEN WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE ANOTHER OF THE BALI LOCATIONS THAT IS NOT SO MUCH A PART OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. WE DO NOT HAVE AC, AND CHOOSE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE NATURAL BREEZES. Although only 13 km from Ubud, we are uphill all the way, towards the volcano area. The temperature here is generally several degrees cooler than in Ubud. Comforters are needed on occasion and AC would be defunct. Check in is any time after 2:00 pm. Guest AccessAccess to the property is via a 5 minute walk along a paved rice field path, it is beautiful, authentic, used daily by local rice farmers but we think unsuitable for extremely elderly or infirm visitors. There is a staff kitchen and enclosed area on the property strictly for our employees where they cook, do laundry, all their other tasks, and take their breaks. We ask guests to not enter this area and to allow our staff their private space. We highly recommend guests use our drivers for your initial arrival at the property, we are in quite a remote and sparsely sign-posted area. We will give you the most concise directions we have, but it can still be challenging to find. We are not responsible for any delays should you choose to arrive independently. We guarantee that our drivers are all reliable, safe and trustworthy, and will not take you anywhere for commercial purposes only. Interaction with GuestsWe are fully available to our guests, and although there is not always someone on site, we provide local mobile phones so we can be reached at almost any time. There is daily cleaning, pool maintenance and gardening included. Our manager will be on hand and we can provide an Indonesian mobile with useful numbers and manager contact for your use. Daily offerings are made at the houses and temples on the land by our Balinese help. Should you want complete privacy at any time, then we will fully respect that, just please let us know. However, offerings have to be accommodated at some time most days, plus we do need to attend to the edible gardens, and we ask that respect this. The latest time for the staff to come is 11 am, (they need 2 full hours to clean the houses), otherwise they will come the following day, or whenever is convenient for you. The NeighborhoodThe village we are located in is traditional, and in its own way, unique. On approach to the land there are views towards Mount Agung and one of the major water temples of Tirta Empul is 4 kilometres away in Tampaksiring. There are local warungs (eating places) in the village and a large traditional market selling fruit, vegetables and livestock, in nearby Pujung. We have a growing number of more western restaurants a short ride away and small local shops selling daily essentials are close. We are about 30 minutes by scooter or car from Ubud where there are hundreds of restaurants, spas, yoga schools, great shopping and a large vibrant daily market. Getting AroundScooters are our preferred method of getting around. They are cheap, and beat the traffic in the larger towns. We have several motorbikes for rent at competitive prices of 50,000 rupiah per day. We also have a number of bicycles for use by the more energetic guests. Cycling through the winding local lanes can be a beautiful way to see the island and our surroundings. RAHASIA MANIS - SCOOTER RENTAL TERMS THERE ARE NO SCOOTER RENTALS IN THE VILLAGE, BUT WE DO HAVE A FEW SCOOTERS ON SITE THAT CAN BE RENTED BY OUR GUESTS. THE SET PRICE IS RP 50,000 PER DAY, REGARDLESS OF HOW LONG YOU RENT THEM FOR, AND THEY NEED TO BE RENTED ON A CONTINUOUS BASIS FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR STAY, (MEANING NOT ONE DAY ON, ONE DAY OFF, AND THEN OTHER DAYS LATER). YOU MAY BE ABLE TO FIND SCOOTER RENTALS IN UBUD WITH DIFFERENT TERMS THAT WILL DELIVER OUT HERE, AND WE ARE FULLY AMENABLE TO GUESTS DOING THIS FOR THEMSELVES. WE HAVE SO FEW ON HAND THAT WE NEED TO MAKE THEM AS AVAILABLE AS POSSIBLE TO ALL OF OUR GUESTS, ON THIS PROPERTY AND THE NEIGHBOURING ONE. INSURANCE IS PROHIBITIVELY EXPENSIVE AND DIFFICULT TO ACQUIRE IN BALI, SO ANYONE USING OUR SCOOTERS DOES SO WITH THE CLEAR UNDERSTANDING AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT THAT THE GUEST IS 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS OF THE VEHICLE, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE, AT FAULT… OR NOT. THIS IS A STANDARD AGREEMENT NO MATTER WHERE YOU RENT A SCOOTER IN BALI. WE WILL GIVE YOU THE SCOOTER WITH A FULL TANK OF PETROL, PLEASE RETURN IT TO US JUST AS FULL. THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF RP 20,000 IF A SCOOTER IS RETURNED EMPTY OR PARTIALLY FULL. IF ALL OF OUR SCOOTERS ARE RENTED WE WILL BE HAPPY TO ASSIST YOU IN FINDING OTHERS, IF YOU WOULD LIKE OUR HELP. HELMETS ARE PROVIDED. WE DO NOT CURRENTLY HAVE ANY FOR CHILDREN. We also have at hand several local taxi drivers some of whom speak excellent English. Tours can be arranged through our manager if you wish. Please do not negotiate on these prices, you can often find lower price drivers on the streets of Ubud, but this is often out of a degree of desperation, especially if someone has not had a job in a couple of days. Our drivers charge the standard going rate, they are all local men supporting their families, or else they are students paying for an education, and we feel very strongly that they deserve a living wage. RAHASIA MANIS - TRANSPORT PRICE LIST AIRPORT PICK UP & DROP OFF (DAY TIME) Rp400.000 AIRPORT PICK UP & DROP OFF (AT NIGHT) Rp450.000 KUTA, SEMINYAK Rp400.000 PADANG BAI Rp450.000 CANDI DASA Rp500.000 AMED Rp650.000 TULAMBEN Rp650.000 LOVINA Rp700.000 PEMUTERAN Rp750.000 MUNDUK Rp550.000 JIMBARAN Rp(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)LANGAN BEACH Rp450.000 NUSA DUA Rp550.000 PANDAWA BEACH Rp600.000 PADANG -PADANG BEACH Rp(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)UR Rp350.000 DENPASAR Rp350.000 CANGGU Rp450.000 Other Things to NoteWe strongly recommend you use our drivers for airport transfers, the property is quite challenging to find, and our drivers know exactly where to go and will carry your bags in for you. They all charge the going rate and will meet you at the terminal with a sign. If you choose to come independently we cannot be held accountable for any delays or inconveniences you experience, a disclaimer spoken from experience! Check in is any time after 2:00 pm. For arrivals at the property at or after 5:00 pm there is a late check-in fee of Rp 150,000. This is because our staff only works until 4:30, and our managers live a 40 minute drive away, therefore they will either have to wait or come back just to check you in. This late fee will not apply if you use one of our drivers to bring you to the house, as they will also be able to walk you and your bags into the house and complete the check in process for you. They are all either family members or completely familiar with our property. The manager will then see you the following morning. If late check out is available (after 12 pm) it is Rp 100,000 per hour, and after 6 pm it is one full nights rental. We will be willing to hold onto your bags until 4.30 pm, but our staff leaves then so if you are not staying with us all bags must be picked up by then.

The SpaceHati Suci (Clean or Pure Heart) is the name of our property. There are four houses on the property, Brahma House is one of them. All have access to the gardens and swimming pool. All have their own unique sense of privacy. Hati Suci is located 13 km, 20 mins north of busy Ubud. Amid luscious rice fields, on the edge of virgin jungle, it reflects conscious sustainability and permaculture principles. Flexible accommodation suiting family, friends, retreats. NEW INTRO OFFER IMPORTANT: This introductory offer reflects that the current temporary access is via a rice field path. Although beautiful and used daily by the local community, we consider that (at present) it would be unsuitable for elderly or infirm visitors. The antique wooden structure, has personality and rustic luxury running throughout. The owners personal taste and belongings add to the warmth and homeliness of Brahma House. This wooden house has a raised terrace and open wooden steps, without hand rails, therefore, with their safety in mind, we recommend supervision for the elderly, infirm or under 12’s. Brahma House has one double bedroom with a double or two single beds (as required), a wooden terrace with gorgeous views of the property and working rice fields. It has a spacious outdoor Balinese style bathroom, and a cleverly designed well equipped kitchen built under the main house, also incorporating a cool and shaded dining and lounge area. This delightful house is full of rustic luxury. The bedroom has it’s own safe, big enough to hold a 17 inch laptop. The pool may be shared by guests renting the other houses, however, Brahma House has it’s own privacy. Hati Suci has been built with a conscious effort towards sustainability and permaculture. We have a passive solar water heating system, non chemical waste water treatment, rain catchment and gardens that are chemical free. If you are squeamish, sensitive or have any kind of aversion to such a possibility, then we highly recommend you choose another of the Bali locations that is not so much a part of the natural environment. We do not have AC, and choose to take advantage of the natural breezes. Daily offerings are made at the houses and temples on the land by our Balinese staff. We have a growing number of more western style restaurants a short ride away and small local shops selling daily essentials are close.

12. John and Mike are the two resident cats that live here, with whoever is hosting. They are friendly and efficient at keeping unwanted small animals out of the house and our staff will feed them. We are sorry but their residency is non negotiable :-) Thank you.

The SpaceWe are happy to share a real Balinese Experience in our house. Our house is a traditional Balinese house that fully adheres to our traditional value. We have a traditional value in building the house that is called “sikut satak”. Bear in mind that this is a real house, not a bed and breakfast hotel nor a guest house, so real people live in this house :) That is what homestay all about, to know the real Balinese living. Based on this concept, the house has mrajan (family temple), gedong (north building), bale dangin (east building), bale dauh/loji (west building) and paon (kitchen) Each of this building has its own function and we are happy to explain it for you :) Our house is located within the area of the village where you can really see and get an insight of the real Balinese traditional live. One of the special highlight is that the house is located very near to the rice field. It is only 2 minutes walk or can be 1 minute walk if you walk faster to the UNESCO heritage rice field. The rice field is called Pulagan rice field. Less known for tourist but it is a huge and beautiful rice field where you can see Mount Agung. Guest Access1. Temples There are many temples around the village. Some are within walking distance. The recommended ones to visit are 1.Pura Gunung Kawi Temple. It is like 15 minutes walk from the house. The temple is very unique because it is carved on a rocky wall. Normally temples are Bali are built on using normal method but Gunung Kawi Temple has some parts that is carved on a rocky wall. Some huge parts actually. 2.Pura Mengening Temple This temple is one of the oldest temples in Bali. It takes about 25 minutes by walk or 5 minutes scooter ride from our place. There is an area for bathing outside of the sacred area where local people take a bath on an open space. The water is very fresh and pure. You may try if you wish. 3.Pura Tirta Empul Temple . The temple has holy spring water where people do purification ceremony. It is like 35 minutes walk or 7 minutes ride by scooter/car. One of the big temples in Bali because people from around the island come for praying and purification. Rice Field Pulagan rice field is a UNESCO heritage site. It is only 2 minutes walk from our house. One of the favorite attractions because it is very beautiful there. You can jogging every morning there. 1.Morning visit during sunrise, you will see beautiful sunrise coming from behind the sacred Mount Agung. 2.Around 9 AM – 11 AM also good time when sun ray gets some reflections on the dew/moisture that is still on the leaves. Next is the third brother, the intelligent Arjuna. A master archer, hero of the Mahabharata and one ""with senses under complete control." Also known as "the copper containing medicine and his triumphal march against his enemies is equated in terms of his victory over innumerable diseases." In honor of this epic character, the Arjuna common area, dining room and bar lounge is highlighted with copper hues. Under a massive and ornate wantilan-style pavilion roof, this marble-floored common area has four seating areas that include a sizable solid wood dining table with leather seats for ten, a large couch with coffee table facing the pool deck, low slung rattan lounge chairs and a smaller solid wood table with little wooden stools. There is also a large L-shaped marble topped bar, the face of which is clad in copper sheeting with a back lit relief of the Pandawas brothers. The highest point of the ceiling is decorated with a grand hand carved, multi-tiered centerpiece while directly below are three substantial stone vases displaying fresh white orchids. White columns support the entire roof structure that is lit in the evenings with tasteful copper light fixtures and sconces. Neatly manicured gardens flank the pavilion while beyond the frangipani-lined deck and infinity pool, one can look out onto verdant jungle with a variety of flora including towering coconut trees, bamboo, arbesia trees, teak trees, wani trees plus fruit bearing mango, banana, and durian trees. To one side of Arjuna and across the bar is a koi fishpond that is bordered by manicured reeds and bamboo plants. While overlooking the pond via Venetian blinds is the lounge/TV room. This cozy little nook features textured Fleur de Lis wallpaper and also serves as a playroom for children or game room for adults. Just outside and adjacent to the pond is a picnic table with a large umbrella and seating for six.

Hati Suci is located 13 km, 20 mins north of busy Ubud. Amid luscious rice fields on the edge of virgin jungle it reflects conscious sustainability and permaculture principles. Hati Suci (Clean or Pure Heart) is the name of our property. There are four houses on the property. It has been built as a tranquil home with three extra guest houses. The antique wooden structures have personality and rustic luxury running throughout. The owners personal taste and belongings add to the warmth and homeliness of the property. Hati Suci, however, also suits a small intimate retreat space. A 13m (1.4m deep) swimming pool is central to the property (shortly to be converted to salt water). It is surrounded by the maturing garden, and nearby there is a large comfortable Bale (covered seating area). Other seating areas are in abundance, including a traditional grass roofed building holding hammocks and a swing chair. Hati Suci has been built with a conscious effort towards sustainability and permaculture. We have passive solar water heating, non chemical waste water treatment, rain catchment and gardens that are chemical free. Consequently a piping hot shower might not be available on cloudy days. However, Bali weather obliges us most days. The Garden consists of vegetable gardens, herb areas, newly planted fruit trees and tropical planting. It is an ever evolving work in progress. Produce is available for your personal use. There is also a fish pond, integral to the waste water system. Our gardeners take pride in this project based on Permaculture. If you are squeamish, sensitive or have any kind of aversion to such a possibility, then we highly recommend you choose another of the Bali locations that is not so much a part of the natural environment. We do not have AC, and choose to take advantage of the natural breezes. PETS: John and Barbara are the two cats at Hati Suci. They are effective and necessary in keeping some wildlife out of the houses. Affectionate yet independent they are part of the rental. Our staff will take care of their needs. We ask that you treat them with respect. Hati Suci and the surrounding rice fields themselves are in a unique and tranquil setting. Higher than Ubud towards the foothills of the volcano, it is tropical but not as hot as the beach areas. There are fewer mosquitoes but wildlife is abundant. Hati Suci has a manager, cleaner and gardener. Laundry can be done for an additional fee. Also some local restaurants deliver to the house, menus are provided. The three smaller wooden houses have raised terraces and open, wooden steps, without hand rails, therefore, with their safety in mind, we recommend supervision for the elderly, infirm or under 12’s. The swimming pool is a shared area between guests as is the pool Bale (covered seating area), and garden shelter. Daily cleaning, pool maintenance and gardening is included. Our manager will be at hand and we provide an Indonesian mobile with useful numbers and manager contact for your use (deposit of 100,000 Rupiah, approx. $10USD). Daily offerings are made at the houses and temples on the land by our Balinese help. Should you want complete privacy at any time, please let us know, we will fully respect that. However, offerings have to be accommodated at some time most days. The latest time staff can begin is 11 am (they need 2 full hours to clean the house), otherwise they will come the following day. We've already said it but John and Barbara are the two resident cats (email: hidden) here, with whoever is hosting. They are friendly and efficient at keeping unwanted small animals out of the house and our staff will feed them. We are sorry but their residency is non negotiable. Thank you. House Details We welcome you and ask that you agree to these few requests before sharing our lovely property. The rental includes our manager, there is a cleaner and gardener, and the houses have in them many of our personal belongings. 1. On arrival there is a 10% service/gratuity fee to be paid directly to the staff , and a $100 damage/bill deposit, held and released at the end of your stay if no damage or extra bills are incurred on your behalf 2. We suggest you bring a photocopy of your passport, it is required by law that all visitors be registered, and this will eliminate the need for your actual passport to be taken to the police station. 3. Please feel free to read our books, but please let them stay when you leave us! 4. If you want to use a local cell phone we require a 100,000 rupiah payment per phone (approx. $10USD), per stay, non refundable, plus the cost of minutes used. An accounting of this will be kept. Phones already have useful numbers listed for you. 5. There is unlimited Internet access included with the house. Please be patient, Bali is not a first world country and occasionally internet lapses for short periods. 6. This is a safe area, however we are not responsible for any valuables left in the house. There is a strong secure safe in each bedroom, please keep your travel documents, money, laptops and any other valuables in there. 7. Our staff are of course the most important consideration, and we ask that you treat them with kindness and respect. Their duties are specific and include: Cleaning the house. Maintaining the garden and pool. Shopping for household requirements The staff will be available at the house for approximately 2 hours per day, in the morning, unless prior arrangements are made with them. The staff have their own families and commitments to the temple and community. If it is not convenient that they clean during their usual hours, then they will come the following day. The staff are not paid or obligated to do anything beyond this, so kindly reimburse them financially for anything additional you ask them to do, and that they agree to, such as staying late, changing their hours, cooking meals, washing or mending your clothes, baby sitting, driving you anywhere on their motor-bikes, or running errands unrelated to the required shopping. If you require laundry service, they can do this for you, or there is a local laundry with the same rates of charge and fast service. An information sheet with itemised prices is in the house. You will be provided with one large towel per person per stay/week and one pool towel per person, if you require extras we will be happy to provide them for the posted laundry rates. Please make any and all arrangements for additional services through our manager. If you require any food shopping in advance of your arrival, please let us know; a detailed accounting will be provided for you, and you can pay for this at check-in. Please note: one storage room is kept locked with the owners personal belongings. Access is not permitted to paying guests. The staff have every Sunday off, however if you arrive or leave on a Sunday then we will of course make arrangements to fully accommodate you. Please be respectful if any of the staff, on occasion, need time off for ceremonies, these are a very important part of village life. We have a couple of automatic scooters that can be rented for 50,000 (approximately $5USD) rupiah a day, 30,000 for any amount of time less than 4 hours, or 500,000 rupiah (approximately $50USD) a month. If you would like any of the staff to take you around the local area on their motor-bike, the cost is 50,000 rupiah (Approximately $5USD) per hour (min 50,000 rupiah, (approximately $5USD) Also if you require any personal errands run: the charge is 50,000 rupiah per hour, approximately $5USD (with a 1hr minimum). We are in the middle of the working rice fields and, occasionally, usually for brief amounts of time, there can be issues with the electricity or internet. Please be patient and understanding when this happens, it is a small price to pay for being in such a magical spot. Our water supply is stored rain water with emergency top up through piped spring water. Our manager and gardener will monitor supplies. Toilet and bathroom waste is managed through an organic waste water system using worms. Please never use bleach or strong chemicals, although the system copes with normal shampoos and soaps. Also, the area is teeming with birds and wildlife, occasionally these creatures might "trespass" ... they have no idea of what man-made boundaries mean. The staff cleans thoroughly daily, so be assured we move them on and there are no actual "residents". If you are squeamish about such things then you may want to find alternative accommodations in areas not adjacent to any actual rice fields. Please let us know if you need airport pick-up; we have local drivers who charge exactly the going taxi rate for this service. Also we have plenty of referrals for other reliable drivers, car or motorbike rentals, and excellent reasonably priced massage therapists, manicurists etc. who can be scheduled at the property. The village we are located in is traditional, and in it's own way, unique. There are views from the land towards Mount Agung and one of the major water temples of Tirta Empul is 4 kilometres away in Tampaksiring. There are local warungs (eating places) in the village and a large traditional market selling fruit, vegetables and livestock in nearby Pujung. We have a growing number of more western restaurants a short ride away, some of whom deliver, and small local shops selling daily essentials are close by. We have easy access by motorbike or car (taxi services can be arranged) to Ubud, the cultural centre of Bali. The 20 minute drive is breathtaking, winding through the jungle, rice fields, river valleys and several traditional villages. Ubud has hundreds of restaurants, spas, yoga schools and batik, art and cooking classes. It also has great shopping, a large vibrant daily market and several art galleries and a museum. Evenings offer Balinese dance performances, Fire ceremonies and Gamelan. We are a one and a half hour drive from the airport, one hour from the nearest beaches and half an hour from Kintamani, which is on the edge of the volcano, Mount Batur. Scooters are our preferred method of getting around. They are cheap, and beat the traffic in the larger towns. We have several motorbikes for rent at competitive prices of 50,000 Rupiah (approx. $5USD) per day or 500,000 (approx. $50USD) per month. We also have a number of bicycles for use by the more energetic guests. Cycling through the winding local lanes can be a beautiful way to see the island and our surroundings. We have a number of drivers who are available for hire by the day or by single trips. All are reliable, friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. Tours can be arranged through our manager if you wish. We advise guests to bring with them International Driving Permits as the local Police often perform spot checks.

The SpaceWe are offering a special reduced rate on this property for the next month as we have some light construction work going on. When guests are on the property they will do the quietest tasks, so guests will be considered at all times. Pondok Dewi is 4 small individual huts, each named for a Hindu goddess and quite large enough to accommodate a single, a couple or 2 single individuals. Each room has a king size bed that can be separated into 2 single beds sharing one large mosquito net. There are bamboo screens between each separate hut, which affords them a lot more privacy, but these not shown in any of the photographs. These huts are built in the traditional Balinese style, completely unique and charmingly decorated, with bamboo matting walls. They are built close together, with plenty of visual privacy, however they are not completely soundproof, so we do ask guests to be particularly cognizant of those staying adjacent to them. Residents may only use headsets if listening to music or audio on their laptops, and we ask everyone to keep the noise volume to a minimum. These huts are ideal for workshop participants, friends traveling together, groups or individuals looking for a more contemplative, meditative experience. These huts are not suitable for those looking for a party atmosphere or more boisterous social atmosphere. We do not rent these huts to those with children under the age of 16 unless all 4 are rented together. The huts are right on the edge of a jungle that slopes down to a river; it is calm and quiet, cool with natural breezes and plenty of shade. All the huts have high ceilings and fans. Each hut has a small refrigerator, personal safe, private patio for outdoor lounging with a large sized couch, table and chairs for dining and computer work, a hammock, mosquito net, koi pond, private en-suite outdoor stonework bathroom with a shower and unlimited hot water, excellent free wifi, purified water dispenser and facilities for preparing hot drinks. There is full access to a large saltwater swimming pool, and a small warung (restaurant) on the property where simple Balinese meals can be ordered and delivered to your room. The property itself has countless different nooks and spaces for eating, relaxing quietly or talking privately on the phone. We do not have AC, there are high areas open to the elements with no screens and the bathroom is open air but with very high walls, (the sink and toilet are under a roof awning so useable in any weather). The huts are perfectly safe, secure and lockable, whilst not fully closed off to all of nature and the natural breezes. Breakfast is not included in the price, but we have a house menu, and all meals can be prepared to order, for a reasonable fee. There is a lovely restaurant close by and we can arrange delivery with advance notice, (the menu can be found at the house), and there are several other warungs (eating places) in the area. Sita is our most private hut with a jungle view and small private garden area Access is a 5 minute walk along a paved, unlit, rice field path, ensuring more of the real Bali experience, but not for the extremely elderly or infirm. There is some finish work/light construction going on in the adjacent building, but nothing that will disrupt tenants. We have easy access by motorbike or car (taxi services can be arranged) to Ubud, the cultural centre of Bali. The 30 minute drive is breathtaking, winding through the jungle, rice fields, river valleys and several traditional villages. Pondok Dewi and the surrounding jungle and rice fields themselves are in a unique and tranquil setting. Higher than Ubud towards the foothills of the volcano, it is tropical but not as hot as the beach areas. There are less mosquitoes but wildlife is abundant. There is a manager, cleaner and gardener. Laundry can be done for an additional fee. Also some local restaurants deliver to the house, menus are provided. The property is completely private and self contained with a living fence dividing it from adjacent properties. There is excellent wi-fi, a clear view of rice fields and jungle, car or scooter parking just 5 minutes away. PLEASE NOTE, THIS PROPERTY IS ON THE EDGE OF LIVING, WORKING RICE FIELDS, AND JUNGLE, AND THERE ARE CREATURES AROUND. THE PROPERTY IS THOROUGHLY CLEANED DAILY (INCLUDING THE BEDS STRIPPED AND SWEPT), BUT THE ODD ANT, FROG, LIZARD OR OTHER LOCAL CREATURE MAY ENCROACH ON OCCASION. IF YOU ARE SQUEAMISH, SENSITIVE OR HAVE ANY KIND OF AVERSION TO SUCH A POSSIBILITY THEN WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE ANOTHER OF THE BALI LOCATIONS THAT IS NOT SO MUCH A PART OF THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. Please do not negotiate on the price, we are not charging high or low seasonal rates, and we are priced to function effectively while giving our guests the best value for their money. Thank you for respecting this. Please knock on the gate to alert us that you need assistance, and someone will be right there to help you. Thank you for understanding :) We highly recommend guests use our drivers for your initial arrival at the property, we are in quite a remote and sparsely sign-posted area. We will give you the most concise directions we have, but it can still be challenging to find. We are not responsible for any delays should you choose to arrive independently. We guarantee that our drivers are all reliable, safe and trustworthy, and will not take you anywhere for commercial purposes only. For arrivals at the property at or after 5:00 pm there is a late check-in fee of Rp 150,000. This late fee will not apply if you use one of our drivers to bring you to the house, as they will also be able to walk you and your bags into the house and complete the check in process for you. They are all completely familiar with our property. The manager will then see you the following morning. Interaction with GuestsWe are fully available to our guests, and although there is not always someone on site, we provide local mobile phones so we can be reached at any time. We, of course, ask that you do not call us in the evenings or at night, unless in the case of emergency. There is daily cleaning, pool maintenance and gardening included. Our manager will be on hand and we can provide an Indonesian mobile with useful numbers and manager contact for your use (we ask for a refundable security deposit, minus any minutes used). Daily offerings are made at the houses and temples on the land by our Balinese help. Should you want complete privacy at any time, then we will fully respect that, just please let us know. However, offerings have to be accommodated at some time most days, plus we do need to attend to the edible gardens, and we ask that respect this. The latest time for the staff to come is 11 am, (they need 2 full hours to clean the house), otherwise they will come the following day, or whenever is convenient for you. The NeighborhoodThe village we are located in is traditional, and in its own way unique. The SpaceIf renting our whole property you will have full private access to our property that currently includes 4 houses and 4 luxury huts, plus a private pool, as described below Pondok Dewi is 4 small individual huts, each named for a Hindu goddess and quite large enough to accommodate a single, a couple or 2 single individuals. Each room has a king size bed that can be separated into 2 single beds sharing one large mosquito net. Then there is Indrani and Parwati, we took 2 old old Javanese teak buildings (lumbung), creatively adapted them to the environment with various local materials, and transformed them into unique and functional living spaces. They are each completely self contained and private, with a koi/lotus ponds and one with a bridge for entry, fully equipped outdoor kitchens, stone work outside bathrooms, terrazzo tubs, and countless great unique features. We also have 2 smaller old teak houses overlooking the jungle. Ishani is our newest house, all teak and glass and jungle views. We took an old Javanese lumbung and made it as functional as we possibly could, while still maintain its integrity. It has solid teak walls and floor, with 2 walls being full sliding glass French doors, a queen size bed, a closet, floor safe, teak patio with a wooden hammock. It has its own private garden with some veggies, banana plants and flowers. There is a living fence providing privacy from the next house, and it has a beautiful view over the jungle. There is a small refrigerator, and eating utensils and plates and cups. It does not have a kitchen, but we of course have our on-site warung. The private bathroom is cheerfully decorated, has an outdoor shower and abundant hot water. There is a sitting area outside, with stone furniture (surprisingly comfortable) for dining or writing. All in all, this little has house has everything you could ask for to be comfortable, private and surrounded by nature. Siddhi is another of our latest houses… and our smallest. However, its size is a big part of its charm. A solid teak lumbung beautifully carved, just big enough for a queen size bed that sits snuggly in the room and doubles as a day lounger. The bed is extra thick (very comfortable) foam and sits on the floor, so this is not the house for those who don’t like living at floor level, or have trouble getting up and down. The whole house is raised up and looks out over the jungle. We replaced 2 of the walls with glass, so the vistas all around are breathtaking. There is an outside bale connected to the house that creates extra living space and is ideal for working, (it has an International socket for a lap-top). It is self contained and very private, ideal for those who enjoy communing with nature. It is also the perfect little “love nest” for couples. Cosy, intimate living in the most idyllic location, this house is also perfect for solo travelers, an ideal spot for solitude, meditation, contemplation or simply lounging. The house is adjacent to other houses but doesn’t look out over any. It is surrounded by a living fence, fruit trees and vegetable gardens and is a veritable mini “garden of eden”. There is a safe in the room and some baskets for storage, it has its own bathroom that is outside, but is attached to the house and just a few safe steps away. There is also closet and storage space and a small refrigerator, and eating utensils and plates and cups. It does not have cooking facilities, but we of course have our on-site warung. The bathroom is cheerfully decorated, has an outdoor shower and abundant hot water. There is a sitting area outside, with stone furniture (surprisingly comfortable) for dining or writing. All in all this little house has everything you could ask for to be comfortable, private and surrounded by nature. They are built close together, with plenty of visual privacy, however they are not completely soundproof, so we do ask guests to be particularly cognizant of those staying adjacent to them. There are bamboo blinds that can be lowered to allow more privacy between the huts, (in all photos they are raised). There is also a 10m x 8m, hardwood yoga studio overlooking the jungle. This is a separate additional price, so please ask us about this. Breakfast is not included in the price, but we have a house menu, and all meals can be prepared to order, for a reasonable fee. There is a lovely restaurant close by and we can arrange delivery with advance notice, (the menu can be found at the house), and there are several other warungs (eating places) in the area. Access is a 5 minute walk along a paved, unlit, rice field path, ensuring more of the real Bali experience, but not for the extremely elderly or infirm. There is some finish work/light construction going on in the adjacent building, but nothing that will disrupt tenants. We have easy access by motorbike or car (taxi services can be arranged) to Ubud, the cultural center of Bali. The 30 minute drive is breathtaking, winding through the jungle, rice fields, river valleys and several traditional villages. Higher than Ubud towards the foothills of the volcano, it is tropical but not as hot as the beach areas. There are less mosquitoes but wildlife is abundant. There is a manager, cleaners and gardener. Please do not negotiate on the price, we are not charging high or low seasonal rates, and we are priced to function effectively while giving our guests the best value for their money. Thank you for respecting this. Check in is any time after 2:00 pm. Guest Access2 of the houses (Indrani and Parwati have kitchens), and our service kitchen will be open for orders, but not for the use of guests. Every house has purified water and a small refrigerator at the very least. We can arrange for meals to be prepared and for 2 meals a day (breakfast and lunch, or breakfast and dinner, with the typical cost being Rp 120,000 - Rp 200,000 per person. There is also and 8m x 10m yoga/meeting hall with a hardwood floor. Any groups wanting to use this can do so for Rps (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) per day. If the whole property is rented, the saltwater pool will for the exclusive use of the group. Access to the property is via a 5 minute walk along the rice field path, it is beautiful, authentic, used daily by local rice farmers but we think unsuitable for extremely elderly or infirm visitors. There is a staff kitchen and enclosed area on the property strictly for our employees where they cook, do laundry, all their other tasks, and take their breaks. We ask guests to not enter this area and to allow our staff their private space. For arrivals at the property at or after 7:00 pm there is a late check-in fee of Rp 150,000. This late fee will not apply if you use one of our drivers to bring you to the property, as they will also be able to walk you and your bags into the house and complete the check in process for you. The latest time for the staff to come is 11 am, (they need several hours to clean all the houses), otherwise they will come the following day, or whenever is convenient for you. Please do not play music that can be heard beyond the bungalow; the rice fields are quiet and serene; noise carries deceptively far, and we like to be considerate of our neighbours ... then they are far more likely to do the same for us! Also no practising or playing of musical instruments please. Headsets work best, and great for watching movies etc. The NeighborhoodThe village we are located in is traditional, and in its own way unique. Our drivers charge the standard going rate, they are all local men supporting their families, or else they are students paying for an education, and we feel very strongly that they deserve a living wage. The SpaceIf you are looking for peace and quiet and beutiful scenery, Kumba One is the place. Walk through the ricefields through a narrow but paved road or hike a bit further to discover the temple of Gunung Kawi or the ritual baths of Mengening. If you like swimming the pool is spacious and private due to the wall around the garden; but if you want to chat with local people, stroll down to the communal bathing and laundry spot close to a small stream. Cool water, friendly people! The center of Tampaksiring is a five-minute moped drive away. Here you will find the market, food stalls and a mini market. Guest AccessYou will have access to two spacious bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge has a cozy sofa with a view of the garden and the pool. Interaction with GuestsMy family who lives close to the house will take care of all practicalities and make you feel at home. They can help you to arrange a rental car or motorbike or a car with a driver. Also ask them what´s going on in the area! The Neighborhood Hello! We are a Balinese-Swedish couple who has recently built our dream home in Bali. Or, more exactly, Kakek, Wayan´s father who is a constructor, has built the house we call Kumba one. It is located in Tampak Siring, in the midst of calm ricefields and gardens with a beautiful view over forest and Gods permitting the summit of Gunung Agung. We have just spent our first weeks in Kumba this June. We arrived in the middle of the night and all we could hear was the singing of the frogs in the ricefields. Velvety darkness surrounded us but as purnama(full moon)was coming up we had the silver light of the moon to guide us…and the lights in the pool.Though very late we jumped into the big pool( we all love swimming very much) and we loved our new home instantly. Kumba one and Tampak Siring is located approximately 20 minutes from Ubud. Tampak Siring is probably best known for the temple of Gunung (URL HIDDEN) and Tirta Empul. Tampak Siring also has a lively market and an Indomaret minimarket for your daily needs. In the evening foodstalls open and if you don´t feel like ordering food from our friend ibu Sukanti or cooking yourself, this is where you can get you dinner. Tampak Siring is within comfortable distance from many famous sights in Bali, but the nearest surroundings are also worth exploring if you are looking for beautiful scenery and an insight in Balinese daily life. The cermonies, the planting and harvesting of rice and a chat with one of our friendly neighbours at Kumba over a cup of Balinese coffee. Wayan´s family will be more than happy to invite you to their home in the village and take you out to see the real Bali!

The SpaceWe are offering a special reduced rate on this property for the next month as we have some light construction work going on. When guests are on the property they will do the quietest tasks, so guests will be considered at all times. These huts are built in the traditional Balinese style, completely unique and charmingly decorated, with bamboo matting walls. They are built close together, with plenty of visual privacy, however they are not completely soundproof, so we do ask guests to be particularly cognizant of those staying adjacent to them. These huts are ideal for workshop participants, friends traveling together, groups or individuals looking for a more contemplative, meditative experience. These huts are not suitable for those looking for a party atmosphere or more boisterous social atmosphere. There are bamboo blinds that can be lowered to allow more privacy between the huts, (in all photos they are raised). We do not rent these huts to those with children under the age of 16 unless all 4 are rented together. The huts are right on the edge of a jungle that slopes down to a river; it is calm and quiet, cool with natural breezes and plenty of shade. All the huts have high ceilings and fans. Interaction with GuestsWe are fully available to our guests, and although there is not always someone on site, we provide local mobile phones so we can be reached at any time. The NeighborhoodThe village we are located in is traditional, and in its own way unique. Getting AroundTHERE ARE NO SCOOTER RENTALS IN THE VILLAGE, BUT WE DO HAVE A FEW SCOOTERS ON SITE THAT CAN BE RENTED BY OUR GUESTS. The SpaceWe are happy to share a real Balinese Experience in our house. Our house is a traditional Balinese house that fully adheres to our traditional value. We have a traditional value in building the house that is called “sikut satak". Shared Kitchen if you want to cook by your self. Be a part of our family. 2. Washing machine is available for use during your stay without extra charge. Interaction with GuestsI work in the city but my father and mother live in the house. I will come to my house when guests are here. I can share and explain our culture. I am a blogger so have many stories to share. The NeighborhoodOur traditional Balinese compound is located in a village, you have the opportunity to see and interact with the villagers. People You will enjoy seeing the people and their activity. The people are very welcoming, just try to walk around and you'll see there are many naturally smiling faces greet you. Market Try to visit the market in the morning and see the real activity there. You get meat, fruits or cake. If you love photography, the market can be very interesting spot for your documentary. For example the colorful ceremony material that is hung all around the market creates unique and picturesque view. The market is only 15 minutes walk. It gives good photography effect of your picture. 3.16 PM till sunset are moment when people go to the river for bathing. Good moment to see their life and ended by beautiful orange impression created by the sunset. 4.Night around 8 PM is best time to watch fireflies on the rice field. Getting AroundMotor bike rental is available within the neighbor at IDR 50000/motorbike/day I can assist you to find a car rental or driver. The SpaceWe are offering a special reduced rate on this property for the next month as we have some light construction work going on. When guests are on the property they will do the quietest tasks, so guests will be considered at all times. Sita is our most private hut with a jungle view and small private garden area. There are 4 small individual huts, each named for a Hindu goddess and quite large enough to accommodate a single, a couple or 2 single individuals. Each room has a king size bed that can be separated into 2 single beds sharing one large mosquito net. Access is a 5 minute walk along a paved, unlit, rice field path, ensuring more of the real Bali experience, but not for the extremely elderly or infirm. There is some finish work/light construction going on in the adjacent building, but nothing that will disrupt tenants. We have easy access by motorbike or car (taxi services can be arranged) to Ubud, the cultural centre of Bali. The 30 minute drive is breathtaking, winding through the jungle, rice fields, river valleys and several traditional villages. Sita and the surrounding jungle and rice fields themselves are in a unique and tranquil setting. Interaction with GuestsWe are fully available to our guests, and although there is not always someone on site, we provide local mobile phones so we can be reached at any time. The NeighborhoodThe village we are located in is traditional, and in its own way unique. If late check out is available (after 12 pm) it is Rp 50,000 per hour, and after 6 pm it is one full nights rental. We will be willing to hold onto your bags until 4.30 pm, but our staff leaves then so if you are not staying with us all bags must be picked up by then.
