If these walls could speakÂŚthe stories they would tell of this home and its past owner! Built in the early 1800's, you won't find many homes that are still standing of that age, let alone in the condition that this home is in. The current owners have done many updates and kept the integrity of this home intact. The stairs to the bedrooms on the second floor are steep, as they would have been back then, so please take note. The current owners added a half bathroom to the second floor for convenience and updated the windows to take advantage of the efficiency, the view of the horse's pasture and the natural lighting. There is a queen sized bed and a twin bed in the private bedroom. The other room has two twin beds that are convenient for the little ones. The first floor of this home has an entry way which leads to the kitchen with its open shelving and a round kitchen table with four chairs. The kitchen is supplied with an electric coffee maker, dishes, pots and pans, a griddle, baking pans, a refrigerator, electric stove and a microwave. Off the kitchen is a screened in porch, with a table and chairs to enjoy meals in the spring/summer/fall seasons. There is plenty of seating and a large coffee table to start a puzzle, have a game of cards, or watch a DVD. The first floor's three quarter bathroom has a camp size stand up shower. If these walls could speak¦the stories they would tell of this home and its past owner! Built in the early 1800s, you won't find many homes that are still standing of that age, let alone in the condition that this home is in. The current owners have done many updates and kept the integrity of this home intact. The stairs to the bedrooms on the second floor are steep, as they would have been back then, so please take note. The current owners added a half bathroom to the second floor for convenience and updated the windows to take advantage of the efficiency, the view of the horse’s pasture and the natural lighting. The other side of the entry way is a large living area with pine floors and a electric stove to enjoy the ambiance of a fire on those chilly nights. There is plenty of seating and a large coffee table to start a puzzle, have a game of cards, or watch a DVD. The first floor's three quarter bathroom has a camp size stand up shower. We are 3 miles from Tamworth Village which is a traditional New England town. The Barnstormers theatre is located on Main Street. It is the oldest summer theatre in the country. Remick' farm museum is also on Main st. Tamworth has local farmers markets, Tamworth distillery, and many other places of interest.
