The SpaceThis is another beachfront bure (we got 4). They are all identical except the color of the walls. Go for a genuine experience, beat classic tourist resorts on Yasawa. This is one of the very few homestays in Fiji located in a very attractive island setting. Our two villages Navotua and Malakati immersed in a remote, unspoilt and breathtakingly beautiful environment. NOTE 1: This is a unique, FIJIAN VILLAGE homestay project, not a touristic, resort-style accomodation. Once you arrive to the village, you become part of the village. This also means: in case you experience some inconvenience during your stay, please do not hold onto it but TALK to village people. We will immediately take care of nearly all your requests! The village life in Fiji and the overall environment is probably starkly different from where you come from. If you are not prepared to hear a rodent during the night, or you can faint on the sight of gecko clinging on the roof of your bungalow, or you can't sleep without hot showers - consider staying in any of the plenty Western style resorts in Fiji. Note that those cute animals will be present in quite some Western-style resorts in Fiji too :). NOTE 2: Dakua is in the villages only a couple of weeks per year. He is just helping villagers connect with travellers through this website. Guest AccessEntire beachfront bungalow is just for you. Interaction with GuestsFeel free to roam around the village, socialize and ask anything you need help about. ALL RATES INCLUDE 3 AMPLE MEALS PER DAY! Tropical breakfast is served outside on a table in shade, overlooking the ocean and neigbouring islands. Lunch and dinner are hosted each day by a different family in the village. This is a perfect chance to get to know everybody in this small friendly and always-laughing village. Interact, learn, relax - all local style. Hint: do not miss friendly kava sessions in the evening. The NeighborhoodAn exceptional island setting perfect for relaxation and active holidays with white sand beaches, kayaks and surfboards available in the village. Hilly and lush interior excellent for hiking. Navotua village is located very close to the famous Sawa-i-Lau sea cave where fresh and salty water mix with different chambers to explore. Malakati village is great for surfing and close to a bigger village (Nacula village, named after the island itself) with a high school to visit. Four tiny islands around the main Nacula island are waiting for your picnic. Getting AroundTo get to Navotua/Malakati, please board Seafus Ferry (Lautoka Wharf) at 8 AM daily or Yasawa Flyer ferry at 8:30 AM daily (Port Denarau, Nadi). Alternatively, please check Turtle Airways seaplane offers. We will send our village boat to pick you up from the ferry/seaplane of your choice and transfer you straight to the village (subject to a fee). In case you will not come from Nadi and require a pick up from another resort nearby, just let us know and we will arrange a boat pick up from your resort. Other Things to NoteFlash toilet and shower facilities are clean. Electricity is not available, but it is possible to charge your mobile devices in the community hall which has a solar panel. Network coverage (Vodafone) is excellent. Each bungalow sleeps 3 or 4. We can insert an additional an mattress for free.
