Some of the businesses within 50 steps of the condo include 2 restaurants and a liquor store. The grocery store is about 200 yards away and offers a great variety of items. A terrific selection of excellent restaurants, shops, art galleries and more is available in Telluride and it's all just a short walk along either the river trail or through the streets of this magical, beautiful, historic, Victorian town. During peak periods (namely holidays & major festivals) parking becomes extremely tight. You may not be able to find a parking space in the Viking Lodge parking lot. You will need to find on street parking. Please observe all parking signs. If you are visiting during peak periods, we recommend arriving early, and limiting the number of vehicles for your group.

The SpaceOur home has 4 bedrooms. And a couch that pulls into a full size. Air mattresses too. Proximity to the Ski Area and Town Park. Quiet local neighborhood only one block from Town shopping and dining. 1 Block to Town Park (skating, sledding, festivals and more) 4 blocks to ski area 1 block to Town and galloping goose bus As little, or as much as you'd like. Won't be living in the house when rented I LOVE my neighbors. It's quiet, it's convenient and you can walk everywhere. yes. The Galloping Goose has two stops within one block of my house and you can ask them to stop even closer-they are super nice. Downstairs has it's own entrance if you want a little more privacy. Please move the car every 24hr. Make sure you do not park on the lot next door. They will tow your car. . Getting AroundProperty is ideally located for whatever brings you to Telluride - winter and summer sports, festivals, or enjoying shopping, restaurants, and galleries in historic downtown Telluride. We are in the west part of town across from Lift 7 and in front of the river trail. Everything Telluride has to offer is within walking distance (or catch the free Galloping Goose bus). The condo is under 10 minutes by foot to the center of town on the river trail, and it's a 2 minute walk to Clark's grocery store. And it's also a 2 minute walk - or less - to the bottom of Lift 7, just across the river. There's a Telluride Sports right there, should you need any last minute gear, or if you'd like to store your equipment overnight. There's also a convenient lift pass office. Other Things to NoteRent your gear, buy your passes and get on the slopes across the street (across the river actually!). We're basically 100 yards from the base of Milk Run, Coonskin and Lift 7. Our property managers, should you be interested, can help you get discounted lift passes and ski rentals.     The SpaceThis is a great condo in a very quiet location in the town of Telluride, in the Tomboy Lodge Complex. Beautiful setting and modern interior. We are just a six minute walk to the chairlift! The living room has a sleeping loft that accommodates 1 person (up custom bookshelf stairs); max occupancy is 5. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a full bed. Both bathrooms have showers (no tubs). Fully equipped kitchen with newer appliances, small washer/dryer, outdoor hot tub in complex (subject to the HOA whims of operation), sunset views, free wireless access & one off-street parking permit. Plenty of free parking in the neighborhood. We have 2 town cruiser bikes for you to use to zip around town if you'd like! We are a short walk to the center of town and 2 blocks from a full-service grocery store, Clark's Market. The "Galloping Goose" bus, free in-town transportation, stops just a block away and will take you to the base of both lift #7 and the free Gondola as well as into the center of town. We have basic cable & Apple TV, as well as a DVD player on request. The bookshelves are full of books and we provide up to date local magazines and maps. We welcome kids but the bookshelf stairs and loft are not toddler-friendly. We are 20+ year Telluride locals and are happy to assist, recommend and answer any questions you may have.     The SpaceClean clean clean! Designed and constructed by the owner in 2008; we take pride in our home. Not only do we love to share our house with guests, but we also use it as a family vacation. Our family has been coming to Telluride since the 1960s when our grandfather purchased the front historic house that we still own today. Telluride is truly our home away from home. Our home offers 3 bedrooms, each with a queen memory foam bed, and 1 pullout futon perfect for 1 adult or 2 children. The eat in kitchen has a full pantry, coffee maker, plenty of dishes, and all the pots and pans you will need during your stay. There are 3 flat screen SMART televisions, 1 on each level. All linens are provided. Colorado license # (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) Guest AccessOur guests have access to the entire home and side yard. There are locked ski racks attached to the outside of the house. Also, a grill and patio furniture to enjoy the Colorado sunshine and warm mountain nights. Interaction with GuestsI don't live there full time, so my interaction is mostly by phone and email. But I like to get to know my guests as well as I can. The NeighborhoodYou cannot beat the location! If 4 wheeling and jeep trails aren't your thing, then you can park your car and not have to drive anywhere until your trip is over! The views are incredible and the river is accessible in just a minute walk. Getting AroundYes, the Galloping Goose (bus) stop is about a block away and it is free.

    The SpaceThis is an extremely well laid out and centrally located condo to enjoy with family and friends on your ski vacation. After storing your skies just steps from the gondola you are only 3 1/2 blocks from your vacation condo. On the way home stop at the grocer and/or wine store for your apres ski snack. One flight up you enter to a well designed entry for all your winter clothing. Off the hall is the first bedroom with a queen and a single bed plus an en suite with bath/shower combo. The master bedroom is also on the first level. The queen bed is placed in front of the windows so you can wake to views of the river and mountains. In addition there is a sitting area to watch TV or enjoy quiet relaxation. The master bathroom has a steam shower, Jacuzzi, and double sinks. The laundry is also on the first level. This is a great place to hang your damp clothes so they are ready and toasty to jump into for another day's winter adventure. The second floor,with a vaulted ceiling, has an open floor plan-sitting, dining and kitchen. There are unobstructed views of the San Miguel River, mountains and park. The third bedroom and powder room/bathroom (shower) are also on this floor. This third bedroom is a flex room. I was very concern about having a pull out sofa. After much research an American leather queen sofa/pullout with a gel mattress was purchased. Our son, who is VERY fussy and suffers from back issues gave it an A+. This room also has a TV. The condo has 3 TVs, cable, internet and Bose radio/CD player. Guest AccessThis is a full equipped condo in a small 6 unit building. It is tucked behind two other buildings, in front of a small pond and the San Miguel River. There is one designated parking space in the garage. In the garage there is also one ski/equipment locker, this is in addition to the two lockers at the gondola. The park entrance is one block away. Here you can cross country ski, ice skate and sled. The NeighborhoodWith the river right out your door you can hop on the river trail and walk for miles or hop on the gondola, which takes you to both the ski runs and Mountain Village. One block away Town Park offers groomed cross country ski trails, you can rent equipment at the park. Or you can ice skate or head to the sledding hill. . Plus walk to everything in town!! There is also a town bus you can hop on and tour the town. Walk up to the mine on a sunny day and stop by the cemetery...lots of history here! Getting AroundWalking is the way to go in Telluride...and this condo is in the mist of everything...within blocks are the gondola, town park, restaurants, shopping, grocery, coffee shops, bakery, cheese shop, art galleries, ski shops, library, bars.     The SpaceEnjoy arguably the finest view of any rental property in Telluride at Rivercrown 2, a luxury town home built in 2006. Rivercrown 2 directly faces Ajax peak, with an uninterrupted vista over the beaver pond and town park from the second floor great room, large outdoor deck, third floor master bedroom, and upstairs deck with hot tub. Whether cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in the living room, or star gazing from the decks, everything at Rivercrown 2 orients toward Telluride’s box canyon. Named for the bend in the San Miguel river around which it curves, Rivercrown has an in-town location close to restaurants, the gondola, and trail heads. The gondola is a quick walk, 2.5 flat blocks away. The river trail, Bear Creek trail, and beaver pond are just around the corner, a short block away. In winter, one can ski along the flat river trail to and from the gondola. The River Trail passes directly behind the unit and leads to Town Park in a beautiful five minute walk. The heart of Main Street shopping and restaurants are three blocks away. Even closer, Smugglers Bar and Grill is practically across the street. Everything is easily walkable, so consider leaving a car behind. Rivercrown 2 was built and decorated to a luxury standard. Upon entering the private drive and parking area, you’ll notice the beautiful stonework in a European lodge style. From ground level, enter via the one-car garage or front door into a large foyer with spiral staircase leading upstairs. The ground floor, which is being remodeled, will soon have three bedrooms and two full baths. The first guest suite has a split king bed (it can be either a king-sized bed or reconfigured as two twins) with private bathroom, including a shower/tub combination. The second guest bedroom has a king bed and attached bathroom. The third bunk room will sleep 4-6, when completed, and will share the bathroom with the second bedroom. A stacked clothes washer and dryer are also on this level. A spiral staircase leads to the great room that occupies the entire second floor. The kitchen, dining area, and living area orient toward the view of Ajax Peak, framed by huge sliding glass doors. The full gourmet kitchen features Thermador and KitchenAid stainless steel appliances, a center island sink with bar seating, and a large dining table for eight. In the lounge area, two couches surround the gas fireplace and HDTV. On the other side are two wide armchairs that can also fold out as day beds. Unlike the other Rivercrown units, #2 has a powder room on this floor. Outside on the large deck sit a picnic bench, gas grill, and seating. The deck is fabulous on sunny days, but it really shines during the Jazz and Bluegrass Festivals. Past guests have enjoyed listening to concerts at Town Park without leaving the deck. The master suite occupies the entire third floor. The master bedroom features a king bed, HDTV, walk-in closet, and great views. The large master bathroom has a steam shower and oversize jetted tub. The deck off of the master bedroom has a large hot tub with a panoramic view of Ajax, Ballard, and the beaver pond. There are other Rivercrown units for rent, and all of them are nice. These are some of the things that differentiate Rivercrown 2: 1) One of just two units that directly face Ajax Peak.
