The Montreal River is a calm body of water and is one of the main tributaries of the Ottawa River System.
A Perfect Location
Our camp is in a peaceful rural setting, but we are only a few minutes from all amenities. For the shoppers in the crowd, we have modern malls and four large grocery stores in Temiskaming Shores. Our four local towns all have liquor stores and offer all kinds of dining, ranging from fast food outlets to good family restaurants. Churches of almost every denomination are found within a few minutes' drive.
Great For Family Getaways
Discover this great family destination this summer, we also cater to motorcycles, especially during the year round Biker's Reunion in Temiskasming Shores. Visit us in the winter time to ride the wonderful snowmobile trails throughout Ontario's Wilderness Region - some of the best in Canada, or skiing - cross-country & downhill.
Our RV Sites are rented on a nightly, weekly, monthly and seasonal basis. Our RV sites provide power (20 and 30 amp), water and sewer hook-ups. There are shower and washroom facilities available within easy access of all the RV and camping sites. Arrangements can be made to store your RV at the resort during the winter months. Grass coverage allows for a pleasant stay with less mess in your camper.

The black bear hunting season opens August 15 for Ontario residents and non-residents and closes October 31. Marsh Bay Resort is responsible for a 200 square kilometre bear management area. We begin baiting for bears 2-3 weeks before you arrive to begin hunting.
We offer a bear hunting package at the price of $1400 US per person which includes:
a six day hunt
baiting before and during your hunt
accommodation in one of our housekeeping cottages
orientation to our bear management area
assistance with skinning your kill
freezing of the hide for transport
preparation of meat for transport
Marsh Bay Resort is located on the Montreal River, which is home to many species of fish including Walleye, Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Rock Bass and White Fish. The river depths vary from 5 to 70 feet, providing a good variety of structure and habitat for the many fish. You can expect to catch more than enough fish for shore lunch and dinner. There is the occasional trophy-sized fish to be found in the Montreal River, but guests are encouraged to return these to the river and only keep the fish that will fit easily into the frying pan.Spring Discount - 10% May - June 15
