The SpaceGreat studio, newly renovated and fully furnished, with modern kitchen and several sit out areas, great mountain views on the south, very nice bright room.
Conveniently located at just 1.5km from the Night Bazar, yet in a quiet neighborhood.
Fully equipped with mostly new equipment: aircon, fans, HD TV, DVD player, proper kitchen, stove with 4 burners, hood, microwave grill, king-size bed, sofa, counter bar, safety box, ample storage, bath tub and even a washing machine.
All you can think of to make your stay comfortable and memorable: your home away from home.
This studio unit is different from other studio's in the same building, in that it is fully renovated with high quality materials and has a pleasant design. You can find cheaper studio's in this building, but most of them don't have the same finishing and materials. I used mostly grade A materials: granite, teak, grade A silent aircon, etc.
The building (Galaetong Condo) offers a bistro, minibar, laundry services, security and parking.
Changklan road is one of the most pleasant roads in Chiang Mai: full of shops, restaurants, banks and hotels, yet not congested and offering good access to the river / Night Bazar and the old town.
Public transport: walk to the main road, Changklan road, and you'll always find some tuc tuc's waiting around the corner of the next door hotel. Alternatively, you can halt a red cab (song taew), which will pass along this route regularly.
Alternatively, I can offer you 1-2 bicycles (push bikes) for rent too, which is the nicest way to explore Chiang Mai.
Rates quoted here are indicative (as Airbnb has a rather complicated pricing schedule). They include internet and cable tv, but exclude usage of electricity and water, which can be calculated either in a fixed amount in advance or by the meter. Ask for a tailor-made quotation if unclear. Guest AccessThere is a bistro in the lobby Interaction with GuestsRegularly and in case of problems, I'm near. The NeighborhoodChangklan road is a a pleasant road, with easy access to town and lots of shops, restaurants and banks. Just at 1.5km from the Nightbazar. Getting AroundThere are always some tuk tuks and red cabs on this road. Other Things to NoteINTERNET: I'm very aware of the importance of stable and fast internet for my tenants. That's why, for all my units, I offer UNLIMITED usage of internet and I have my own, DEDICATED lines. I do NOT use shared internet provided by buildings, as this is generally slow and unstable. Most of my tenants are working online or otherwise need to rely on internet. I cannot give a guarantee about the stability or speed of internet, no one can do that and we are still in Thailand, but I have spared effort to get you the best internet and generally it's as good as you can get in Thailand.
UTILITIES: water and electricity are charged by the meter according to consumption at near cost price. This is most fair for both parties. Price of water is THB 30 and of electricity is THB 5 per unit.
For your reference, average usage is about 60 baht per day, but it depends very much on personal consumption (in particular of how much you use the aircon).
Reason why this is more fair for long-stay tenants: rent levels in Chiang Mai are very low compared to the rest of the world, yet energy costs are international and Thailand can be hot, so energy cost can become significant compared to rent.
