The Barn was constructed in 2010, and the apartment portion of The Barn has all the modern conveniences and comforts of home. The Residence includes 1280 sq ft of high end finishes in a two stories. The home includes a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, family visiting spaces, a bathroom on the 1st floor, and a large, open loft area upstairs with a beautiful four-poster queen bed, plus two Queen sized Murphy beds that pull down to sleep a total of 6 quite comfortably.
The "shop" portion of The Barn is reserved separately for Supper Club local fund raising events.

You will enjoy beautiful sun rises and sunsets, gorgeous views in all directions, including the Big Horn River, Wind River Canyon, Wedding of the Waters, long trains rolling through the canyon in the distance, the neighbors' Morgan Horses on the adjacent acreage, red fox, deer, bald eagle, geese, and other wildlife sightings. Interaction with GuestsAn onsite property manager, Jim, should be able to greet you at check in, or be available to you during your stay, if you should require it. Your host, Matt and Linda, are a phone call away as well. The NeighborhoodMostly our neighbors are the Morgan horses and their seasonal foals and fillys. A couple of neighboring goats, and a pony. The home is located on a private road, is very quiet, and the night sky is filled with brilliant stars, planets and the Milky Way. It doesn't get better anywhere! Getting AroundThe Barn Retreat is located within a few miles to anything you want to do. Grocery shopping, exploring the museums, dining out, local night spots, The largest natural hot spring in the world, The Star Plunge or The Tepees pool houses with water slides for every age. Or, drive further into the state park, a mile or two, and scout out the herd of wild Buffalo (Bison). **But remember they are wild, and can be quite dangerous, particularly in Spring when they've got little ones at their feet.
Medical care and the community Hospital are within a few miles of the house as well.
We are within a couple hours or so from some major destinations, like : Yellowstone National Park, Cody, Buffalo and Jackson Hole, WY.
Stone's Throw on the (Golf Course), and The Front Porch (in town) are two of our recommendations for a good meal. And, Thursday nights at the VFW is always a hit with their platter-sized Chicken Fried Steak Dinner!
