Interaction with GuestsWe like to greet our guests and provide a general orientation to the property and Lodge facilities. The Lodge isn't your typical rental and there are many things that take a bit of introduction. (e.g. steam room, movie theater, commercial kitchen, etc.) We are more than happy to give you your privacy after the Check In process, but we are also available at any time you need us. We (John and Dallas) live on the property. Getting AroundThe Lodge is approximately a three-hour drive from Boston MA, Hartford CT and Montreal and five hours from New York City. An easy drive to Barre and Montpelier VT, and Hanover NH, it is less than an hour to Lebanon Regional Airport and 1.5 hours to the Burlington International Airport. Other Things to NoteGiven that Galusha Hill Farm is a working farm with livestock, pets cannot be accommodated. Please let us know in advance if you have strong feelings about pets. Our farm dogs and cats do not enter our facilities, but are friendly and typically roam around the Farm. We understand not everyone is crazy about pets and we are more than happy to keep them under tighter reign during your stay! Joe the Newfoundland is a certified Vermont Therapy Dog and will likely greet you upon your arrival. Just let us know if you would prefer he didn't!
