Near Zion National Park and right outside of St. George, our log home is located in the historic mining district of Silver Reef, near St. George in Southern Utah.
Rockhounds & history buffs will dig exploring the mine tailings and remains of the 1890s mining town.
In addition to the unique history and geology of the Silver Reef area, the stargazing is spectacular! Nightly breezes blow the clouds away, you'll be amazed at how many stars there are in the sky! Relax on the deck and see the Milky Way with the naked eye.

The house is just outside of the big city of St. George. It is fully furnished and a comfortable setting for couples, groups, or families to stay while on vacation. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms are located downstairs, with a loft upstairs. Wireless internet, satellite TV, central air and heat, washer/dryer, and a full kitchen make this a great home away from home.
Located at 3,500 feet elevation, our home is located in the historic mining area known as “Silver Reef.” We selected this area for our home because of the beautiful color variation of the landscape, and the close proximity to numerous spectacular parks. Activities are available year-round, from winter ski trips to summer hiking. Some destinations less than an hour away include: Zion Nat’l Park, Silver Reef Ghost Town, St. George, Mesquite Nevada, Parowan Gap, Cedar City, Brianhead, Quail Creek, Snow Canyon, Gunlock State Park, Kolob Canyon, Red Cliffs, Sand Hollow, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, and more! A few of the golf courses less than an hour away: Sand Hollow, Coral Canyon, Sunbreak, Green Springs, St. George Golf Club, Dixie Red Hills (9-hole), Oasis, Wolf Creek, Falcon Ridge, and Casa Blanca.
