We are close to Nazareth, Mount Tabor, the Sea of Galilee and Kfar Kana. We are a 40 minute drive from Haifa, 45-50 minutes from Safed and the Golan Heights in the north and beaches on the Mediterranean. We are about an hour from Tel Aviv and about 1.5 hrs from Jerusalem. Our B&B makes a perfect center for day trips. Guest AccessGuests have access to a large yard with a gazebo and fire-pit, as well as the back porch-a huge outdoor room.
In the village there is a minimarket, horse-riding ranch and exotic bird store. In summer, guests can also use the village swimming pool. Interaction with GuestsWe love spending time with our guests and are happy to help plan day-trips. We are usually home when we have guests, and if not, our daughter takes over. The NeighborhoodWe love the people, the village atmosphere, the location. This was once an agricultural village, and there are still active farms here. A goat farm sells wonderful cheese and ice cream, a straw-bale house has an olive press, active during the harvest, and where olive oil and soap is sold. There are dairy farms and a sheep farm as well as field crops. In addition there are many walking and biking trails such as the cross-Israel hiking trail, and the Jesus Trail nearby.
Getting AroundThere is a bus that goes from Nazareth to Haifa and stops on the main highway outside the village. Guests can phone us(if they have a cellphone) and we will come and get them from the road. If not, it's about a kilometer walk in to our house.
Guests can park in our driveway for free.
Other Things to NoteWe do not serve breakfast, but can order a kosher meal from a nearby conditoria. It costs 50 shekels per person.
Adults pay 30 shekels/day to use the pool.
Please don't come with pets.
There is a separate entrance- up a set of spiral stairs, so if there is a baby carriage/stroller there might be a problem. There is no access for a wheelchair.
