The SpaceThis cabin is adorable and located near the birthplace of Helen Keller and the cute historic town of Tuscumbia. Muscle Shoals and the Music Hall of fame nearby. Easy drive to Florence where you will find University of North Alabama and the Robert Trent golf resort. Great fishing and water skiing on the Tennessee River. Full kitchen with microwave and cable tv in the living room. (Please note: half fridge, not a full size refrigerator) King bed in the bedroom. Sleeper sofa in the living room. Cabin fit's 2 people comfortably. NO INTERNET AT CABIN - I use my iPhone but the service is slow and spotty. Guest AccessGreat acre wooded lot with fence that surrounds the lot for extra privacy. Interaction with GuestsKey can be obtained from my Mom who lives across the street. She can answer any questions if you have them.

The home is located just west of Tuscumbia, about an hour west of Madison on one of the most peaceful sections of the Tennessee River. Several taxi services are available. Other Things to NoteThere is no charge for children under age five, but please let us know if you are bringing them. This home is located next to Pickwick Lake and is a rural area, therefore it is not free of potential hazards, especially to small children. There are insects and possibly snakes and other wildlife nearby. The proximity to the lake brings its own risks; we take no responsibility for accidents or injuries incurred on our property. All patrons should know how to swim and use a life jacket when on the water, and children should always be attended when near the water.

We have a fully furnished, mostly recently remodeled, three bedroom, two bath lakefront home for rent. This relaxing, comfortable home sleeps eight+ (5 traditional beds, two sofa sleepers, a queen-size hanging/swing bed). Features include a spacious screened in porch with lots of comfortable seating for large gatherings and a swing bed,. There's a large multilevel deck which leads to a wooden staircase and on to the lakefront, where the fishing is at its best! Most rooms offer a beautiful view of lake. We also have a private pier with boat mooring. Feel free to bring paddle boards, jet skis, canoes, boats and other water toys The home is located just a few miles west of the quaint Norman Rockwell-ish town of Tuscumbia, recently ranked among the top ten most charming small towns in Alabama. It's about an hour west of Huntsville/Madison on one of the most peaceful and lovely sections of the Tennessee River. Local attractions include the famous Rattlesnake Saloon (Recently featured on Food Network), Ivy Green (The birthplace of Helen Keller) and Cane Creek Canyon Nature Preserve (featuring the best view in Alabama, according to Backpacker Magazine) and the University of North Alabama in nearby Florence, among many others. Our waterfront comfortable, mostly remodeled home is family-friendly and available to guests. It's a ranch style house built in 1960 and situated in a family neighborhood in which many homes are vacation/second homes. Most rooms offer a beautiful view of lake. This relaxing, comfortable home sleeps eight+ (5 traditional beds, two sofa sleepers, a queen-size hanging/swing bed). Features include a spacious screened in porch with lots of comfortable seating for large gatherings and a swing bed,. There's a large multilevel deck which leads to a wooden staircase and on to the lakefront, where the fishing is at its best! We have two fire pits available for bonfires and marshmallow roasting. If you're coming to tournament fish, this home is ideal for both tournament participants as well as their family members who may observe the action on Pickwick Lake from the decks or screened porch. We also have a private pier with boat mooring that may accommodate your boat docking needs. Water levels and conditions fluctuate, so inquire about current conditions if water activities are in your plans. Feel free to bring paddle boards, jet skis, canoes, boats and other water toys. Our Pickwick Lake home is located just five miles west of the quaint Norman Rockwell-ish town of Tuscumbia, recently ranked among the top ten most charming small towns in Alabama. It's about an hour west of Huntsville/Madison County on one of the most peaceful and lovely sections of the Tennessee River. Pride Landing launch ramp is located about five miles west of the home by land, about 5 minutes by boat. Florence Marina/McFarland Park is about 23 minutes away by road, 15 minutes by boat. Local fishing on Pickwick, Wilson and Wheeler Lakes is easily accessible.
