The SpaceTropical island just 6 miles across low country to Atlantic ocean. This 2 story, 2 privacy suite low country cottage sits under grand old oaks along a lane that hugs a sandy Georgia bluff overlooking Wilmington river and intercostal canal. It is a short drive less thn 10 minutes to historic downtown savannah. It is fully modern interior with more amenities than home. Yes, it has everything you need and for your pleasure. I am a host of this property for over 10 years, and host 5 other properties in the south's popular spots including new Orleans Toulouse House that can be viewed also on airbnb. Note that additional guest require an additional charge.

The SpaceOur casual, compact Americana-style home is a good fit for 2 adults and up to 2 children. The bedroom has a queen sized bed built-in (like a grown-up bunk bed, it's awesome, you can pretend you are the Captain of a pirate ship... if you are into being awesome) and a full closet. There are two bunk beds in the hall, each slightly smaller than twin sized, kids love them, but they are snug for some adults, FYI. (You may see similar listings at the Savannah Beach and Racquet Club which accommodate 6 people, we do not. Our sofa-bed is terrible, you deserve a better vacation than that.) An open kitchen, living room and a small deck peek out across the dunes to the ocean to complete our little retreat. Our location on the island is absolutely the best for travellers looking for a slow-paced vacation and nature lovers. If you doubt this, let us simply say the highest paid actress in Hollywood could live any place in the world she likes, and has chosen our little strip of beach to call home. We don't like to name-drop, but we think this is a pretty credible endorsement. We don't know what she's into (okay yes we do, but it's none of our business) but we are obsessed with how great of a place this is for kayaking and dolphin watching (and watching dolphins from kayaks). Ask us, we will talk all day! Our home is totally kid friendly, but not unromantic. If you are traveling as a couple, you can keep the bunk beds tucked behind the curtain and pretend they aren't even there-- we promise they won't inspire uncomfortable talks about the pitter-patter of tiny feet. We even provide classy plastic* goblets, so you can drink wine on the beach *Swoon* (*Glass is strictly forbidden on the beach, the city imposes a $200 ticket if you're caught with it) Guest AccessGuests will have total access to our one-and-a-half bedroom, one bathroom condo with fully equipped kitchen. Our complex includes, direct, private beach access, two full sized swimming pools, and one shallow children's pool. Three tennis courts, and charcoal grills are also available for guest use. Our bathroom has a shower and bathtub, we include towels, linens and paper products for guests to use. We also have shampoo and soap on hand. Our kitchen has a small oven with four-burner electric range, a microwave and a fridge with a freezer (but not an ice maker, so you might want to grab a bag on the way in). We have a coffee-maker, toaster, blender (because margaritas!), waffle iron, and a variety of pots, pans and dishes. There is not a dishwasher in the kitchen, in case that's a dealbreaker (we're just as sad about it as you are). We have a dedicated wireless network in our home, as well as an open wifi network poolside. Our home has two HD televisions with cable, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. There is a BluRay/DVD player in the living room equipped with streaming Netflix and a basket of DVDs for your viewing pleasure. We also have great board games, if you're feeling nostalgic... or the power goes out. A laundry room is located just across the hall from our unit. The machines take coins (to wash and dry a load of laundry costs $3 total). There is not an onsite change machine, so if you think you'll need to do laundry during your stay, you'll want to bring quarters. Interaction with GuestsOur key box makes it possible for your arrival time to be quite flexible. If we don't meet when you check in, we are usually not far away, we love talking with our guests and can be reached at any time during your stay. We respect your privacy, so while someone is always close at hand if you need us, you probably won't see us much unless you ask to. The NeighborhoodWe are located on Tybee Island's North Beach, where the Savannah River meets the sea. Our beach is one of the island's quietest and enjoys the distinction of being the one the dolphins like the best (dolphins know what's good). We are away from Tybee's main "strip" and we like it that way! Several great restaurants and destinations are less than four blocks away (including the ledgendary Huc-a-Poos and Latitude 32, Tybee Fish Camp, Gerald 's Pig and Shrimp, and the Tybee Wedding Chapel), so there is plenty to do on foot. It's a simple kayak trip to Coco's Grill, and anywhere else on Tybee is a short, easy bike ride away. Bikes, beachgear, kayaks and paddle boards can all be rented and delivered to you, the island is your oyster (Incidentally, you can also collect oysters on our beach, lucky you!) Our beach is an ideal location for kayaking because of the calm waters and easy access to dolphin and manatee areas, backwater channels, as well as Fort Pulaski on Cockspur Island. There is even a flat, stair-free boardwalk at the far end of the parking lot which allows convenient cart (or stroller, or wagon) access. Kayak and bike rentals are available locally for delivery. Two large swimming pools are available on the grounds, plus a shallow kids' pool for younger visitors. Tennis courts and grills line the in-land side of the complex, so there is lots to do without having to venture out. We love to sit on our back deck watching the big cargo ships come in, dolphins playing and enjoying some of the world's most beautiful sunsets. If you need a break from taking a break, it's about a 15 minute drive to Savannah's landmark historic downtown. We think you will agree that North Tybee has a lot to offer! Getting AroundWe have free on-site gated parking, with one parking spot available for guest use. If you will need additional parking, this can sometimes be arranged, but only if you let us know in advance if you will be bringing extra vehicles (or a boat). If you would like to visit Tybee without a vehicle, public transportation is available from the airport, Amtrak and downtown Mon-Fri between 7am - 5pm. The cost is $3 per person each way (no, REALLY!!) via Coastal Regional Coaches, they will deliver you right to our address. 24 hour advance reservations are required, and bookings are accepted up to one year out. We encourage you to make your travel plans to take advantage of this service, private shuttles are much more expensive, so book early!! Once you are on the island, you shouldn't need a car, but a bike can be handy (you can rent them locally from Tim's Beach Gear, they will drop them off at the condo), but you'll do just fine on foot too. Grocery delivery is available from the local IGA store and there are plenty of restaurants in walking distance as well! It is also possible to take a public beach shuttle to and from downtown Savannah on the weekends, this service is offered by Coastal Regional Coaches. No advance reservations are required for the weekend shuttle, the schedule is available on their website. I live in a beautiful home on laid back Tybee Island, 20 minutes from downtown Savannah. Come stay with me and have the best of both worlds-alternate between playing at the beach and visiting downtown Savannah. My home is a 3 bedroom , 4 bathrooms on a tidal creek. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom and private deck. The views are spectacular, with a roof deck to admire the views x 360 degrees. The house is very open, with the kitchen, living room and dining room in one large space. Off the dining room is a lovely screened in deck overlooking the lagoon.

The SpaceTiny cabin hidden under the canopy of a great oak. Cabin built to resemble a yacht with an upper and lower level. It has a full kitchen and full bath. Yes, cable, wifi, and all that you need for a fun and unusual stay between the beaches of the Atlantic ocean and historic downtown savannah Georgia. My guest love it's intimacy and return often for special escapes.

The SpacePerfect Tybee vacation rental! 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Very clean (non-smoking) fully furnished condo on Tybee's south end. 1 bed in each bedroom (2 queens, 1 double). Very nice- tile floors, granite countertops, tiled bathrooms. TVs in den/kitchen and master bedroom. Short walk (1/2 block) to pier, beach, restaurants, bars, shops. Private parking for 3 vehicles is included (one behind the other). Such a perfect location that once you arrive, you don't have to use your vehicle at all during your stay on Tybee. You can walk out of our condo and be standing on the pier in less than 5 minutes. The beach (amazing sunrises) is a half of block away, and the back river (amazing sunsets) is just a few blocks away. Please note that airbnb charges a small fee to hosts and guests, so your total will be a little more than the room fee. The SpaceTybee Island beach bungalow with Wi-Fi, home phone, and Apple TV. Located on the North end of the island by the lighthouse, it's one of the coolest little bungalows around. It's nested on a gravel road with a pond in the front yard, and surrounded by the only undeveloped wooded area left that also features hiking paths. A fully fenced-in, private backyard with patio tables allows guests to enjoy the Tybee sunshine on their own time, as your pets enjoy an outdoor covered pet pad. Outdoor showers are located in the front and back of the house. Full kitchen with modern appliances and an indoor washer and dryer complete this fully furnished beach bungalow, making it ready for you to enjoy :) If your idea of a great vacation is to getaway to a place that "gives" you that island feel, then this is the ticket! This adorable beach cottage is nestled between the trees & palms on one of the last remaining dirt roads left on Tybee Island. It is about 1/2 mile to the beach, rental bikes can be provided, or there are island shuttles to take you to and from. Upon entry, there is a Koi fish pond where seating is available to read and relax. On the back side of the house is a huge cement patio which is nice for evening dinners/cookouts. Grill provided. The other plus side is that this unit is pet friendly! Not many places offer this amenity. Covered parking for it. Other Things to NoteNo dogs or glass allowed on the beach. This is enforced -hefty fines. Police are on the lookout for speeders and DUIs. Call a cab. It is a Tybee Island, GA ordinance that you must clean up after your dog. Parking must be paid every day of the year. 8AM-8PM In the event of an ordered evacuation due to hurricanes or other storms, you are required by state law to evacuate property. If you have declined trip cancellation insurance, (MBHR can help you with this) you will not be entitled to a refund. Refunds for the period of mandatory evacuation will be made solely by CSA, provided Guest has purchased optional trip cancellation insurance. Refer to trip cancellation policy or contact CSA directly for specific information and/or refund procedures. If you choose to leave due to “Storm Warnings” or “Voluntary Evacuation” no refunds will be given. MBHR will not issue refunds in part or in full for inclement weather. Our recommendation for travel during hurricane season is for you to research and purchase trip cancellation insurance. I will email code to key box on your house along with directions. The SpaceThe condo is located on the 3rd floor 5 steps from elevator . Beds , MB king , queen, 2 single beds . The beach is in front of the complex across the parking lot , about 377 feet / 230 steps . The unit is in the southeast corner of the building behind the front building . The view is partially obstructed. Look at picture of the view. The master bedroom has a view of beach and ocean from the bed . See Pictures of the view . My 17 Boston Whaler is available for a dolphin rides near the Cockspur lighthouse and trips to nearby barrier islands if I am in town . This ride is a favorite for all. $ hourly rate . call me. We can talk about my 17 Boston Whaler for Dolphin watching and rides around Fort Pulaski and the Savannah River. Getting AroundI have 2 bikes you can use. Please do not ride in salt water . Beach chairs and umbrellas are stored in parking space . Uber is on Tybee sometimes and there are cabs and bike rentals near . Other Things to NoteParking is gated . Max 2 cars in assigned space . Other cars must park in public parking across the street , 24$ a day .

    The SpaceThis home is located on idyllic Hird Island off the coast of Georgia, one hour south of historic Savannah. It is reached only by small boat, making it the perfect place for a romantic get-away or family vacation. Enjoy fishing, wildlife, or just peace & quite in the heart of Georgia's beautiful coastal marshes. The house has two bedrooms with queen sized beds and their own private bathrooms. It also has a a dock house with a bunk bed. Guests may sleep on the living room couch also! Plus there is a double bed in the loft, accessible only by a ladder. It comes with a laundry facility, porch, and fully equipped kitchen. There is a traditional tabby (shell) fireplace in the dining/living room area. A housekeeper will do your linens on departure. Wild life is abundant - deer, otters, wild pigs, and armadillos abound, as well as an amazing assortment of birds, including pelicans, egrets, eagles, ducks, herons and many more. We often see porpoise from our dock too. For beach goers, a short boat ride will take you to Sapelo Island, a protected beach with gorgeous white sand and virtually no people. PLEASE NOTE THAT HIRD ISLAND HAS NO BRIDGE OR PUBLIC FERRY SERVICE. If you don't have your own boat, you can rent our Carolina Skiff for $250 a day ($600 damage deposit required). Or, if you are not a boater, you can call the Bllue and Hall Marina in Darien. They will take you back and forth for a nominal fee with advance booking. But you do need access to a boat to get back and forth from this island. A magical place at a reasonable price that is available year round! Interaction with GuestsWe answer emails promptly. The NeighborhoodThis island is home to about 30 other vacation homes, from grand to not. There are no commercial enterprises on the island - no stores, restaurants, or shops. Those things are easily accessible in the town of Darien, so no worries there! Getting AroundThere are no cars on this island - walking or biking paths only. Other Things to NotePlease note that, once again as we have said, this is an ISLAND - you need a boat or access to one!

My Beach House is an Original 1930s beach cottage tucked down a private lane. Tybee is perfect island for biking -- Bike the old railroad trail or all around the island. The island is only 3 miles long and 3 stop lights. The downstairs suite has a private entrance. There are no steps inside leading to the downstairs. Rates are subject to change until reservation is confirmed. Holiday rates may be higher and you may be asked to choose dates that back up to another rental so we don't leave just a night or two vacant between bookings. This is necessary mainly during peak season only. 220 cleaning fee includes handling fee, linen fee, credit card fees, booking fee, supply fee and more. 13% Tax 113 pet fee for one pet. Ask about fee for more pets. Filled with unique vintage and new furnishings 198 steps to the beach - No streets to cross to get to the beach, tucked down a private sandy lane. It is exhilarating, relaxing and truly one of Tybee Island's best activities. Kayaks are around $40 a day to rent and we are providing 6 with your rental. Plus pull carts to get to the beach, paddles, and life jackets. Tybee also has bike routes designated to safely bike around the island. Be sure and make stops along the way at the Lighthouse, Fort Screven, or stop at Seaweeds for an ice cream cone or Huc-a-Poos for a great slice of pizza. This is a beautiful, spacious two bedroom, two bath, newly renovated Coastal Condo located on Wilmington Island in Savannah, Ga. Only a 10 minute drive to River Street in Downtown Savannah or the beautiful beaches of Tybee Island, this condo is centrally located between the two. Please enjoy.... Bull River Plantation is very nice and quiet, it's simple and tasteful retreat in Coastal Georgia. There are many live oak trees on the premises and pretty landscape throughout. My Coastal Condo is only a short drive from Savannah and Tybee Island...right in the middle with great restaurants, history, and outdoor activities just a few miles away. :-) I just completed a full restoration to show off it's southern charm. The Coastal Condo is painted in coastal colors and has newly installed tile that resembles a light hardwood floor throughout. A newly installed kitchen that includes beautiful maple cabinets, corian countertops, and stainless steel appliances make the kitchen pop. I provide all the linens, towels, dishes, and pots and pans. The entire condo is decorated in furnishings from the local Savannah Antique and Consignment Boutiques. The photography on the walls were taken by my mother to show off the beautiful local birds we have in this area. Features: * A full kitchen, including dishes and cookware, and a dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, and stove. * Two bedrooms * Both bathrooms are full * Washer and Dryer. * One parking space * Newly purchased queen beds The Coastal Condo is complete and a very nice place to enjoy your vacation. Bull River Marina is one mile away with tons of water sports and boating activities. Off the street parking for one car reserved for Unit A 4 and plenty of free parking just steps away. Every effort has been made to make this a retreat to remember! With a walk in closet I provide beach chairs, floats, and coolers. It is the simple things that make this retreat so comfortable. The layout is very open and spacious yet cozy and comfortable! I will try my best to make sure you have a wonderful time in my lovely romantic city! The pool is beautiful. My favorite part, it's only a 10 minute drive to Savannah or Tybee. Getting AroundNo, if you don't have a car, taxi is your only choice.
