The SpaceAuSable Camp sits on a small hill by the AuSable River surrounded by open fields, forests and mountains. Bassett, Wainwright, Rattlesnake and Ebenezer Mountains provide the backdrop for quiet Adirondack sunsets. Walk down 300 feet from the cottage and swim the secret swimming holes of the AuSable River. The deer, foxes, coyotes, wild turkeys, loons are watching.

Au Sable Camp is 6 miles away from Keene, the epicenter of the famous 46 High Peaks. In Keene, don't miss the Nun-Da-Gao Ridge, also known as the Soda Range, north of Hurricane Mountain. The stunning trail follows an arc that takes you from Big Crow to the summit of Weston Mountain overlooking Lost Pond.
From Keene, you can also embark on a cross-country ski or snowshoe expedition along the Jackrabbit Trail, a 35 mile trail system that connects Keene to Lake Placid, Saranac Lake and Paul Smith.
AuSable Camp is 6 miles away from Whiteface Mountain, home to the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics. The only Olympic downhill ski center in the East with a vertical drop of 3 430 feet.
