Our historic Vancouver neighborhood is a peaceful escape from the bustle but close enough for easy access to all that Portland/Vancouver and the Columbia River Valley have to offer. We live offsite but are in the office almost daily which currently makes this more of a very comfortable and well-equipped guest house. We are happy to interact and provide helpful information for guests at the house, by phone or email. With 4 rooms available, you are likely to cross paths with other guests.

Relax on the covered, south-facing front porch hammock and stare down a long dirt alley from the 50s. Or enjoy the backyard vegetable garden and patio. Kitchen, porch, free on-street parking, and gardens are available to you.

Getting AroundWe are 1 block from Vancouver bus service from which you can access service to Portland and 1 mile, if you prefer to walk, from the 15-minute express bus to Portland. In a 15-minute drive, you're in downtown Portland - Chinese Classical Gardens, Japanese Gardens at Washington Park, Portland State University, Oregon Zoo, Pioneer Courthouse Square, Pioneer Place, Powell's Bookstore, many great brew pubs and the Willamette waterfront. The Vancouver Hilton is a mile away. Vancouver's Esther Short Park, where the farmers' market is located and events are taking place weekends, all summer long, is also 1 mile away. This is a prime location for just about anything Vancouver-Portland have to offer. All of our guest rooms are accessed by stairs and are unfortunately not handicap accessible.
