    Getting AroundThe closest grocery store is 10 minute drive away. In Bolombolo. The house keeper can guide you where to buy fresh locally grown meat and produce. If you don't feel like cooking, it is easy to find a restaurant in town. There is a pharmacy and a medical center.

    My place is close to the town of Venecia (Antioqua), it is one hour and half from Medellín (Colombia). You’ll love my place because of its spaciousness, comfort, and its charming modern design. The amenities of my summerhouse are ideal to have an extraordinary and memorable vacations and/or weekend close to a wonderful green spot of Colombia. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), and big groups.

    The SpaceThis beautiful and cozy wooden villa (La Margarita) is located in Antioquia's coffee region, just 1:20 hr from Medellin and 5 km (less than 10 min by car) from the traditional town of Venecia. As it stands in a hill at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) above sea level, it provides a year-round spring weather which can go up to 30°C during a sunny day and a fresh 18-20°C on a fresh night. It is very common (usually every day) to get fog early in the morning, making a beautiful sight. It is a quiet place in the middle of the Andean mountains with amazing views where you can get in close contact with the surrounding nature. There are several fruit trees in the Villa: avocados, mango, orange, tangerine, lemon, carambolo (starfruit). Feel free to get your share ;) It is a perfect place for bird watching. You can easily find: Guacharacas (Ortalis erythroptera), parrots, humming birds, Soledad (Blue-crowned motmot), prey birds (little hawks...), etc. Also, the beautiful Morpho Azul butterfly and all kind of insects. Next to the cabin there is the house of the people who looks after the place. They will be there to welcome you and may be available in case you wish extra services like cooking. Getting AroundThe entrance to the Villa is not paved and is only available for 4WD vehicles. It is possible to get by public transport taking a bus from Medellin to Venecia and walking to the Villa (500 m, 10 min). To go to Venecia you can walk to the main road and wait for regional buses (frequency: aprox every hour) Other Things to NoteThe Villa is a 2 stories cabin. On the second floor you will find the main room with a queen-sized bed and a private bathroom. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, each with 1 single-bed and 1 double bed. It can accommodate 6 people, with a max of 8 people comfortably. In this floor there is also a bathroom, living room with a sofa and tv, and a kitchen with all basic appliances (4 place stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker) and kitchenware. Water is not drinkable so please remember to bring with you. Outside of the cabin there is a covered corridor with an outside bed, hammock, living room and dinning area. Perhaps the best place of the villa is the terrace immediately attached to the cabin, which stands below the beautiful almond tree, with three more hammocks. There is also a kiosk with a BBQ area and an outstanding view of the mountains.

    This magnificent lake house in the La Siria development is located in the southwestern part of Antioquia, approximately 50 kilometers south of Medellin. Antioquia is a paradise with spectacular scenery, indigenous communities, archaeological legacies, local villages, ecological trekking, adventure sports, cycling – and an abundance of coffee villages. The countless rivers, creeks, waterfalls and the mountains in the area offer adventure tourists a big variety of activities to enjoy. Villa Verde has amazing views of the surround hills including a spectacular view of Cerro Tusa, the world’s largest natural pyramid. Enjoy spacious well-manicured grounds, a theater room, wine cellar, and infinity edge pool including a swim up bar. Situated in the new high-end gated community of La Siria, a bit warmer than Medellin, this area is known for its hot days and cool nights as well as outstanding views. The house has a live-in maid as well as a full time caretaker to cater to your every need. Enjoy days and nights by the pool with 5 outdoor surround sound speakers. The development has security guards at each entrance and is very safe. The property contains many hiking trails and mountain bike paths as well as a large river just yards from the house. The house is situated on a small lake full of fish and migrating birds. A must see! The capital of Antioquia known as “the city of flowers and eternal spring,” Medellín is the second most important city in Colombia. It is located in the center of the Aburrá Valley and is one of the main commercial and industrial centers of the country. This beautiful place with 3 million inhabitants is full of splendid gardens, parks, and museums, such as the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Anthropology. At the Zea Museum you can admire the work of many great artists, including the paintings and sculptures of the renowned Medellinense artist Fernando Botero. Educational centers such as the well-known University of Antioquia, the National University, the University of Medellín and the Pontifical Bolivariana University add to the culture-rich vibe in the city. In addition, there are many beautiful mansions, commercial centers, amusement parks, and nightclubs for endless entertainment. Medellín has the most modern transportation system in Colombia. There is a city train (the Metro of Medellín) and the amazing cable metro, part of the public transportation system, transports thousands of citizens every day via glass gondolas over the city. Nutibara Hill is known as the 'breathing area' of the city and features Pueblito Paisa, a replica of colonial-period Antioquian village.
