The side porch has Adirondack chairs, which are perfect for relaxing as you read, day dream or sip a drink. The bedroom is comfortable for one person, two people, or two people and a baby or toddler.
The Big Yellow House is a center-hall colonial home built in 1820, with many decorative details still intact yet also with such modern amenities as wifi and baseboard heat. Your room, the living room and the dining room have antique furniture mixed with sensible modern touches.
The thick walls built at that time, along with the many maple trees on the property, keep the place naturally cool. In times of cool or cold weather, the room has baseboard heat that will keep you toasty warm.
