The SpaceWell folks I am back at it! I have opened a new B&B called Green Gay Bulls. I have closed the Rainbow Lodge and moved up the road, just over the bridge. Looking forward to seeing guests from the previous 25 yrs and meeting new ones. :) Green Gay Bulls is a restored Victorian Home built in the late 1800's It stands at the front of 3 acres of manicured lawns & gardens with a section of woods and 149 feet of water frontage on the Vernon River. This home has had an interesting past, now being a private home but at one point was the United Church Manse & a home for the minister and his family. There have been many weddings and christenings done in the parlor and now as a B&B we continue the tradition, as Jim is the first appointed Marriage Commissioner of PEI. The B&B has 2 rooms; One with an antique Queen Sleigh bed suite and one with a Queen size bed. ($115 for Double Occupancy - $90.00 for Single Occupancy ) **RATES INCLUDE PROVINCIAL HST!** The 2 rooms share a large bathroom with stand-up shower for 2, bathtub, toilet and vanity. There is a smoking veranda at the front of the house and a deck bordering the fish pond and flower beds in the back yard. There is also plenty of parking available for guests. We are a very casual B&B wanting our customers to feel right at home. In the morning come down to the dining room and have a full breakfast. Fresh muffin, eggs, bacon, coffee, tea and homemade preserves await you after a good night's sleep. For the more adventurous, there are designated areas where nude sunbathing is acceptable at Green Gay Bulls. Jim and Kenneth would be happy to greet you and help you enjoy your stay at Green Gay Bulls. Close to Historic sites, light houses, some of Canada's best golf courses, fine dining, theater, beaches, and site seeing. Bring your bikes, get on the Confederation trail and head into rural PEI. There is a wharf nearby where you can also launch a boat or if you have a kayak go for a scenic trip up the river and be back in time to see the spectacular sunsets in late afternoon.       The SpaceThe Honey Dew cottage is located in Kinross PEI half way between Montaue and Charlottetown. These two centers have lots to offer as far as shopping and warfs and tourist attractions go. There are also many hidden beaches and trails I have listed for you that are local for you to explore. One thing about PEI is that you are never far from a dirt road that runs to a beach or shore! Guest AccessYou get access to the house via the lock box located to the right of the door. This code is texted to you if I am unable to greet you due to travelling etc. Please contact me via text to receive the code 1 day prior to arrival. On the site itself you will have full access to the 1 acre lawn and gardens surrounding the Honey Dew cottage and the fire pit area to the back of the cottage as well as the front lawn and garden area. The little house is on a lot of its own. All other areas/lots like next doors fields and barn are private property with no trespassing sign posted. Please respect the laws and privacy of others. Thank-you. Interaction with GuestsI will generally greet you upon arrival or soon after. If i am travelling I will chat via text messages or phone call anytime you need assistance. The NeighborhoodMostly all surrounding home are farmers or teachers nurses and even a holisitic Dr. Demarsh who does Osteopathy etc. just down the road on the left by the bike trail. All my neighbors are friendly and helpful so feel free to knock and say hello. They will be happy to guide you to any trails or places on my list. Getting AroundYou will need a car to get to any towns. There are no bus services here but you are very very close to the confederation bicycle trails with two point of access less than 500 m away. In Charlottetown there is bus services as well as many tourist info sites and other tour busses etc. available to you. Other Things to NoteThe bike trails are just down the road to the left or right of the house for easy access to the confederation trails it is an ideal location! Also Macphail woods has numerous trails jut look for the Macphail woods roads and explore one of 5 trails through the Macphail climax forest woodlot. Visit the Macphail wood Ecological Forestry Project and the Sir Andrew Macphail Homestead for tea or a historical tour...or go for a ride on a horse and Wagon at Orwell Historic Village! There are also fresh organic vegetables every summer sold at the Macphail homestead. Enjoy!

      The SpaceThe space has three upstairs bedrooms, with an open living concept on the main floor. The house offers a variety of amenities including, but not limited too; a well equipped kitchen, deck hammock, satellite TV with netflix, wifi, fire pit, washer/dryer, 2 bicycles, BBQ, and a small vegetable garden. The rustic look of the house is what makes this property special, with a vintage spiral staircase and an old fashioned bathtub in the upstairs bathroom. Interaction with GuestsAs I live in the neighboring community of Kinross, I am available at all times to help with your stay. As I have worked aboard fishing vessels in the area, you have access to the freshest of seafood. Feel free to ask which seafood is available during your stay. Lobster season is May 1 - June 30. As a close family friend owns a daycare, you're one message away from having some kids toys or highchairs brought up to the house. In addition I have created a small brochure with some of my favorite off the beaten track areas and restaurants around eastern PEI. The NeighborhoodThe views on the quiet Orwell Cove Road are like a painting, where the remoteness of the seasonal fields meeting the water embodies Prince Edward Island as a whole. Within a 10 minute drive of Coopers Red and White (community grocer and gas station), Chuck Wagon Farmers Market, Two golf courses, a lighthouse, provincial park, and the Point Prim Chowder house. However what lies within a 25 minute drive is endless; from the beautiful city of Charlottetown, 7 golf courses, fishing villages, local restaurants, remote sand beaches, fishing charters, wineries, and so much more.
