The SpaceGet away from it all and enjoy a cozy mountain cottage in the most scenic valley in Montana, the Bitterroot Valley. Conveniently stretching south from the growing and beautiful garden city of Missoula, the Bitterroot Valley is nestled between two majestic mountain ranges with the beautiful Bitterroot river flowing for 90 scenic miles. Victor is a sleepy, postcard-pretty community in the foothills of the Bitterroot Mountain Range. Some of the best hunting and fishing in the world is found here, and the 3rd largest wilderness area in the lower 48 states borders the valley. There is a lot to do and even more to see. The vacation home is situated in a picturesque area surrounded by a 2000 acre cattle ranch and hay fields, so very quiet and peaceful. Not many neighbors. However it is close to a major city for your "city fix". lots of shopping and culture. Lots of places to fly fish, hike, cycle, ski, horse back ride with lots of nice restaurants. Very country. Only a few hours to Canada, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Idaho and Washington. Very centrally located for seeing the Pacific Northwest of the USA. I have a beautiful cottage in a valley surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. Deck and patio and huge trees and flower gardens. Very low maintenance. This is my main home. Has EVERY thing you need!! There is also an acre of grass for setting up tents for large groups. If the group is large enough and the price is right, I can have porta potties and showers brought in. The bike path that goes through the valley is only 1 mile from my house. I am a cyclist too. I put $ 85 a night, but that is for two people using the house. Extra per person and price will vary for campers. Call or write and we can go over exact pricing. ... Guest AccessGuest are only renting the main house. Not the garages or outbuildings. I sometimes stay out back in my motorhome and take care of the lawn so am usually on the premises. I will not go into the home without your permission. Interaction with GuestsI most likely will be here and can offer any advice you may need. I have lived in the area almost 36 years. The NeighborhoodSecluded yet close to town. And the view is 360 degrees. Several great restaurants and bars within walking distance. Bank and Post Office and liquor store , also. Other Things to NoteNo smoking inside or on the deck. Absolutely no illegal drug use. Quiet time runs from 10 pm until 7 am. We expect guests to be respectful of our home and furniture.

This two-story home is 2,400 SF and features large windows on both levels, offering expansive views to enjoy while sitting or reading. The home was remodeled in 2011 with all new beds, furniture, appliances, 4 flat Screen TVs and satellite television. This home is tastefully furnished to create warmth and comfort. As good as the inside looks and feels, it is the back of the home that sets it apart from other properties. The river is literally just steps out the back door and the panoramic views span the Sapphire Mountains, Bitterroot Mountains and Bitterroot River. It is centrally located to all the outdoor pursuits the Bitterroot Valley has to offer. Within minutes of the house: Fly fishing the Bitterroot River, multiple National Forest trailheads and a paved bike trail that covers over 30 miles. Within an hour you can be fishing on the West Fork of the Bitterroot River or skiing at Lost Trail Ski Area. The trip into Victor is short, either on the biking/walking trail, or via a drive of less than 5 minutes. It is a 10 minute drive to Hamilton which offers dining and shopping. Missoula, the home of the University of Montana is just 45 minutes away and is serviced by the Missoula International Airport. When you return from the day's activities, fire up the BBQ grill or fire pit, sit out back on the patio, watch the sunset over the mountains - there's a good chance you'll spot bald eagles, fox, deer, turkey, and revel in a great vacation. We hope to hear from you soon!
