Please note, this is a 300 year old seaside old Danish town, with old world charm. Although the town might look a bit run-down, it is an amazing area of old world architecture and history. There is a LOT of renovations going on within our little community, and we love all the new residents this development is bringing. This is a newly updated unit in our 17th Century Danish building. This is an updated one bedroom, new bathroom/kitchen, appliances, floors, multiple ceiling fans. Dish Network and WiFi included. Prices here are for the ONE BEDROOM UNITS. Both one bedroom units are on the 2nd floor. 4 of our units have AC in the bedrooms . We personally have never used them. There is an extra fee for AC usage except during prime weeks..which are Christmas, New Years and Spring Break/Easter. Just ask, we can tell you. Electricity is a very expensive commodity on the island, so we try to conserve as much as possible :) Unit #7 is the blue apartment, and #8 is the sea foam (green) unit. Just added, our newly renovated (#9) Island Breeze, LARGE studio with patio/fenced doggy area for those of you with fur babies. All new bathroom, full kitchen. This studio is on the ground floor and is also handicapped accessible. All units have queen beds ACCEPT the owners unit (#3) which has one King, one queen and a bunk bed. Very safe gated 1/2 acre garden, and we will be adding an outdoor BBQ/kitchen in late spring, as well as a pool that should be completed by August 2016 Guest Accesslarge outdoor gated and enclosed courtyard. Snorkel gear/beach chairs available, as well as cooler. FREE use of 2 Sea Kayaks and a stand up paddle board. We can assist with meeting you at the airport, transportation to grocery store, tours, etc. We also have a washer available for use, but it is located inside the owners unit. We ask that you schedule a time to use it if you need to. We use an outdoor clothesline to dry. We are located on the west end of the island, just bellow the Rain Forrest, right in the center of the small waterfront town known as Frederiksted town. Walk to the waterfront to watch the sunsets, enjoy Sunset Jazz the 3rd Friday of every month, Christmas Carnival! is only 2 blocks over. Walk to the Christmas Village and all the concerts/rides/parades during the holiday season. Small town feel. Shops, restaurants and the most AMAZING sandy beaches on the island are right outside your door! Our island is not about glitz and (URL HIDDEN) about getting back to Nature, experiencing a culture "frozen in time" and exploring some of the most beautiful, unspoiled land AND beaches in the Caribbean..all found on US soil!
All new photo's of the units are now up. Unit #7, Sea Breeze is the Blue 1 bedroom, and can sleep up to 5. Unit #8 is Bay Breeze, the sea foam green unit, and can also sleep up to 6. Please note that there is only 1 bathroom in these units, and it is located off the bedroom. There are separate sleeping areas in both units. These are located on the 2nd floor. The ground floor units include 2 updated studios, and the 3 bedroom owners unit. Please message us for prices on those. We are located right in the town of Frederiksted, walking distance to all shops, restaurants, markets, the cruise ship pier and the best beaches on the island! Please note that we ARE in town. Very minimal traffic after 7pm, but there are roosters and dogs in the neighborhood. They are found all over the island. Our courtyard is very large and very private. Town is safe to explore on your own. As with ANY city in the US or abroad, please be aware of your surroundings. Getting AroundThere are taxi's and 2.50 vans/1.00 buses. They make frequent stops in the neighborhoods. Renting a car is the BEST way to see everything, however, with planning, we can be available to take you site-seeing and to the best beaches.
n2theblue dive shop is a 3 minute walk from our property, so unlimited diving is right in your back yard! We also have a 150cc Motor Scooter available for a small weekly fee. Ask for details! Other Things to NotePets are allowed on a case-by-case basis with an additional non-refundable pet fee of $200 due upon check-in. This unit is a no pets unit to accommodate those with allergies..but we do have three other units we allow pets in. There are 3 long term tenants on the property, all women, who have been living here since 2000 and 2007! Property is VERY safe, and we also have a full-time caretaker on property to help with any immediate needs :)
