Arrangements can be made for an additional single bed to placed in the sunroom downstairs. Also available is a single seeping pad and sleeping bag. Please note that if a child is to occupy a separate bed, this counts as the $30.00 that we charge for each additional person. Although we do not charge for babies who do not need their own bed, for safety reasons, we need to know the total number of occupants staying in the cabin. The cabin is heated with propane but in late fall and winter months, should you want the ambience of a fire in the wood stove, there will be an additional charge of $15.00 per day.

Our cabins are nestled deep in the mountains of Southwest Montana. It is a beautiful and wonderful place to get away for a few days and unplug. Three of our cabins have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen stocked with pots, pans, and dishes, and a living room. One of the cabins is a cozy one room space with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Our cabins have wifi, but there are no tvs or other forms of technology. Outdoor opportunities are endless for a winter enthusiast. Activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and wildlife viewing are perfect for a weekend getaway. In the winter the animals come down to the valley and are very visible. Something new and exciting this year is that the Ruby River will be open all year around, so fishing is now an option for winter recreation. Often times fishing in the winter is great given the low water temps and high demand for food. The ranch sits on 2 miles of the Ruby River and the four cabins are no less than 150 feet from the river itself. In the summer, the cabins are used as part of a family run guest ranch, Upper Canyon Outfitters. This guest ranch has been in the family since 1910. Here is the Upper Canyon's website www.ucomontana.com. In the winter, the guest ranch is closed, but the cabins are fully accessible. The cabins open for the winter season on December 30, 2016.
