The SpaceI have 2 separate private bedrooms all located on the 2nd level of my home for you to choose from. They are set up very simply. No TV's, cable or WI-FI access. There is a queen size bed-semi-plush in one bedroom and full size bed-plush in the 2nd bedroom. Clean sheets, pillows, blankets and towels are provided. You will need to provide your own bathroom essentials. (although I have extra's if you forget something:) You will share a bathroom/shower with me on the upstairs level. You will have full access to the kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom and your bedroom. Also access to my large yard, where you can feed my horses, chickens, turkey, and goose treats! Hunter's, biker's, hiker's and horse people are welcome! Guest AccessYou will have access to the whole house, large yard, front porch, fire pit, charcoal grille, and like I said we share a bathroom/shower. My bedroom is on the main level of the home and is off limits to guests. During the weekends I am not there a lot, so you will have the whole place and a lot of privacy to yourselves most of the time. Interaction with GuestsI can interact with you as much or as little as you like. I am not always there for your check-in, just depends if I have plans or not. I am gone a lot on the weekends or at least in and out, so you usually have the house to yourselves, use the back door and make yourselves at home! I am always reachable by cell phone/txt/email if anything is needed. I am early to bed early to rise during the week since I work full-time in Viroqua. I will try and accommodate you with whatever you need. The NeighborhoodI am six miles from the town of Viroqua, WI. on a winding road in the country. You will see an abundance of wild life such as deer, turkey, pheasants, bald eagles and Amish country. The Amish have roadside stands with fresh produce, furniture, rugs, and goodies for you to purchase if you would like. I am about a half hour from the "Great River Road" that is Hwy 35, that can take you to many great attractions. See my guidebook for some of my favorite fun places to visit! Getting AroundThere is no public transportation. Other Things to NoteThere is NO WI-FI or cable at my home. I do not have a computer. Your cell phones may have sketchy service also. I have a pellet stove in the dining room that is my main heat source. I will show you how to use it. I have one cat and 2 kittens, they are inside/outside cats, they come and go as they want. In Viroqua there are two Kwik Trip convenient stores, Vernon Memorial Hospital, clinics, restaurants, fast food places, bars, Wal-Mart, Viroqua Food Co-op and Village Market which is a grocery store. There are some nice shops to shop at also. Viroqua is a "main street" town, and they have a Farmer's Market held every Saturday at the fair grounds during the summer, you can enjoy fresh vegetables, Amish treats and hometown hospitality! This is also a GREAT area for fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, motorcycle riding, snowmobiling and horseback riding.
