The Apt, designed by a famous interior decorator, features beautiful artwork, furniture and rugs, has breathtaking views to the Andes and Manquehue mountains. You will enjoy sunlight all day long in its two terraces and inside the Apt. Get your morning coffee from Starbucks located one block away, and stroll to Parque Bicentenario (rated #1 in the country). Discover the world renown chefs in nearby restaurants and enjoy Chile's museums and top-end art galleries on nearby Nueva Costanera Avenue. All at walking distance. Guest AccessEnjoy a beautiful fully furnitured and fully equipped apartment with 4 bedrooms 3.5 bathrooms, one of which is the maid's quarters (so it's actually a 3 bedrooms with an annexed smaller bedroom and bathroom, in case you will need to use it). The master bedroom is spacious, beautifully decorated featuring a 46'' TV set with Apple TV connectivity. Second bedroom can be used as a kids rooms with 2 cribs or alternatively with 2 twin beds. You will have to let us know in advance which of the two options you will need so we can prepare it for you. The third bedroom is a studio with two side desks and a 32''TV set and a twin bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, full size fridge, washing machine and dryer. Two bicycles can be provided and there is one indoors parking spot available. Interaction with GuestsWe will be available to assist you in any way you need to make your stay more pleasurable. We can give you information and tips of places to visit and good restaurants in the neighborhood. Santiago is a large City requiring a plan to cover most of it. We may or may not be in town to greet you. Our cleaning lady comes twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays (9am-2pm) and can assist with any questions you may have. The NeighborhoodVitacura is the most prestigious and resourceful neighborhood in the country: it harbors the new Parque Bicentenario, rated the top park in Chile (20 min walk). It features world renowned restaurants along Nueva Costanera avenue (15 min walk). Designs stores and galleries are located along Alonso de Cordova and Nueva Costanera. The fashion museum is right around the corner. Top-end gyms are one block away. Two main supermarkets are at 10 min walk. Several Starbucks are nearby, one of them located one block away, with pleasant outdoor space to enjoy your morning coffee. In summary all of it at walking distance from the Apt. Getting AroundBuses and taxis are readily available on main streets like Vitacura Ave. or Americo Vespucio (one block away).
Taxis in Santiago are inexpensive and widely available on main streets or by calling a local station. A typical taxi ride in town costs around $5-8 US.
The public transportation system comprise the Metro (underground), buses and taxis. The subway is convenient and clean, ideal to travel longer distances e.g. to downtown and is at a 10 minutes ride from the Apt. The entire bus system was overhauled in Santiago in 2011.
If you choose to hire a car, the Apt includes an indoor parking spot.
Two bicycles are also available for you to use during your stay.
To get to the apartment from the airport, simply take a taxi which should cost around 25,000 pesos, around $45US (no need to leave tip) and it should take around 20 min taking one of Santiago's new highways, under normal traffic conditions. Other Things to NoteSantiago is a very large City and it is convenient to be staying in a central residential area, like Vitacura, which is walkable, safe, with beautiful residences and parks. Top-end restaurants, boutique stores and galleries are located at walking distance from the Apt. If you wish to explore the many attractions offered by this lively and vibrant City, public transportation is readily available in main streets, 1/2 block away from the Apt. We would definitely recommend visiting (email hidden)ly and bohemian area; Las Condes, with stylish restaurants and cafes; and downtown Santiago, with it's Plaza de Armas (City's main official square housing the Cathedral), La Moneda Presidential Palace, Cerro Santa Lucia, where Santiago was founded and the Bellas Artes Museum.
