The SpaceA dwelling close to the city without being in an apartment building with a deck and small courtyard. Guest AccessGuests are welcome to use/share the dining and sitting room. The kitchen is small and basic. I am happy for guests to use the kitchen but my use tends to dominate. Interaction with GuestsWhen at home I'm very happy to chat, help with travel arrangements, city information and provide transport if needed. I wont always be at the house as I work Mon - Sat and away some weekends. I respect some guests may want privacy and not wish to be sociable. The NeighborhoodMt Cook is a diverse neighbourhood with Massey University and Wellington High School nearby. The new Memorial Park is close too. The public hospital and the interesting suberb Newtown are 10 - 15 minutes walk away. The town belt with bush and walking tracks, part of Te Araroa Trail can be accessed at the top end of Hargreaves St. Getting AroundThere's a bus stop within 3 minutes walk ( timetable and routes – (URL HIDDEN) Coupon parking is on the other side of the street from the house. We are a 12-15 minute taxi ride from the airport ((URL HIDDEN) and Uber operates in Wellington. Apex ((URL HIDDEN) car rental is 10 minutes walk away in Victoria St.

The Space**WiFi, breakfast and CATS included - and no more dog!** **Available for medium term stays of up to 6 months - please ask. Currently we are looking for an individual or couple to stay for a couple of weeks - or longer - while we are overseas from 28 Oct - 13 Nov. I will offer a generous discount in return for you feeding our fur children and looking after the house :-). You will need to arrive a few days before the 28th so we can show you the animal routine, but you could leave on 13 Nov if desired. Alternatively, you could stay for longer (for the regular long term price). Please send me a booking enquiry/message if interested.** Are you looking for well priced accommodation close to the city, by yourself or with a partner? This is a 1914 character villa on a hill overlooking the city and sea. There are two double bedrooms, the other occupied by myself and partner Ciaran, with an open living and dining room and a shared bathroom. The open living area has French doors opening out to a great view over Wellington city and harbour. The area includes a leather sofa that opens out to a comfortable double bed in front of the French doors. The sofa bed is also listed on Airbnb (under "shared space"}. The two cats - our fur children - are Mogadon-the-matriarch and Neko, the handsome Norwegian forest cat. If you are lucky, one might select your bed as their chosen sleeping spot! WiFi, breakfast and cat cuddles are all included in the price. (Note that cat cuddles can't be guaranteed. They will let you know if you have been chosen to receive this privilege). You can help yourself to fresh plunger coffee, hot chocolate or a variety of teas at any time. For breakfast we offer toast, home-made muesli with yoghurt or milk, juice and fresh fruit. If you strike a famous stunning Wellington morning (see photos), you can eat breakfast out on the deck in the sun, looking out at the harbour. Who could complain about that? Check-in is flexible as we can leave you a key. Check in before noon will require payment for an additional day. Please check whether early check in can be accommodated before you complete your booking. Latest time for check in is 9:30pm. Sorry, arrival on late flights cannot be accommodated. Leaving early is no problem however. We love living here; beautiful sunny Wellington mornings where we can look out to the harbour and see the birds fly out from the Zealandia sanctuary. It's lovely just sitting on the deck in the peacefulness of early morning, coffee in hand, watching tuis and kingfishers feeding on the pohutukawa and flax. Come and stay! Guest AccessGuests will have access to their own private room, which is lockable; the main living area of the house (including the kitchen); and a shared bathroom. Guests can store food in the pantry and fridge. Guests can also sit out on the deck, in the verandah (like a sun room) and in the garden if you wish. There is no off street parking, but you can park nearby on the street and it is a very safe street. Many of my neighbours have been here for years without any security issues, and it is a dead end street so not a lot of traffic. I have never had my car or my guests' cars broken into in the nearly six years I've been here. Interaction with GuestsI'm quite a busy person, often going to the gym after work, and when I'm home I'm managing my various social and volunteer activities on the computer, or developing new lemon products for sale at the markets (my "Lady Lemon" business). My partner is usually home earlier than me, and we both like chatting to guests whenever we're around. We are very happy to tell you all about Wellington and the different things you can do. We have a whole box of brochures, maps, discount vouchers etc for museums, parks, gardens and other attractions available for you to rifle through. The NeighborhoodBrooklyn is a nice suburb with a village and cinema only 7 minutes’ walk from our house. There is a chemist, good takeaways (Chinese, Indian, Burger Wisconsin, fish'n'chips), dairies, a small supermarket, DVD store, two pubs / restaurants and a Caribbean cafe. The cinema tends to play art house movies and has a great restaurant and cafe too. On Tuesdays, all movie sessions are $10 all day. We love being in a quiet street, with birds flying around in the early morning from the sanctuary over the hill. We love the closeness of Brooklyn Village, with its art house cinema and amazing little antique store. We love being a stone's throw from the city but without the hustle and bustle of city streets. Getting AroundOur house is on a quiet street on a hill that is close to central Wellington - either 15 mins by bus to Lambton Quay (a main shopping area) or around 30-40 mins walk to shops and the waterfront. You can check out the weekend markets, Te Papa national museum (about 40-45 mins walk), the funky shops in upper Cuba Street (25 mins walk) and heaps more. You can follow the road or you can take a track through Central Park. On the way you might take a detour to Aro Street, home to excellent cafes, bakeries and eclectic shops. Walking back up takes a bit longer (45 mins - 1 hr, depending where you are coming from, or a 15-20 minutes bus ride). Often we host guests who are moving to Wellington or working or studying here short-term. If you are an active person you will enjoy the walk to The Terrace (CBD), Lambton Quay or the universities. You can get as much or as little hill climbing as you like, with buses for respite! Other Things to NoteDuring the non-peak season, roughly April to October, I can accommodate guests for short to medium term stays. For three full weeks or longer, the price is $300 for couples or $230 for singles. This is all inclusive except for lunch and dinner (includes the room, breakfast, power, gas, firewood, internet, land line (telephone for local calls) and cleaning) and compares well to the cost of renting an apartment close to the city or flatting long term with other people. As a medium term guest you are expected to change your own sheets (though you don't have to launder them), empty your own rubbish bin and dust and vacuum the room. I'm happy to negotiate a good deal with you but please do not ask to pay cash on arrival, ie. transact outside Airbnb. Doing so removes the safeguards for both of us, and could get me kicked off for not following the host's code of conduct. That would not be good! In addition, Airbnb has software that blocks the exchange of email addresses and mobile phone numbers until a booking has been made. So if you try to give me your contact details before making a booking, I won't be able to contact you anyway.

The SpaceJust up the road from Brooklyn Shops on Todman St, is my Character Villa. Your room consists of a near new very comfy queen bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and electric blankets, and a very warm pure NZ wool duvet. There are two huge built-in wardrobes with cupboards, desk, chair and bed-side tables with lamps and a very warm mica-thermic heater. The room is very sunny and has the best views in the house overlooking the harbour. The house is very private and sheltered and gets wonderful sun all day. There are also lots of Tui, Kaka and other native birds flying about, a large sunny deck out front over-looking the harbour, and a paved courtyard out back which leads down to a yard. The house is fully insulated and fitted with a heat pump/air conditioner. The hot water is gas-heated and endless, and the house has super-fast unlimited Wifi. Brooklyn is a great suburb with an excellent local pub, Gastro-pub, deli, cafe that roasts it's own coffee, library, pharmacy, superette, antiques shop, DVD store, fast food and the famous Penthouse Cinema, and of course it's only a few minutes to town by bus. There is a bus stop literally on the doorstep, although it's an easy walk to town through Central Park. There's free parking on the street outside also. I have a very friendly Huntaway (Kiwi farm dog) also, so not suitable for anyone allergic. He always offers a very welcoming wagging tail when you get home. Cheers, Chris. Guest AccessYou have access to the whole house, deck, courtyard and garden, and all facilities. I've worked extensively in hospitality and know how to make you a latte or short black and ensure you're comfortable. More than happy for you to help yourself to tea and coffee and milk. Interaction with GuestsI'm always happy to share a drink and a meal if you wish. I want you to have a safe, comfortable and successful stay in Wellington and I'm always on hand to offer advice if you need it. I'm often busy but love sharing a meal with my Airbnb guests to get to know each other and share advice. I've made some of my greatest friends through Airbnb and I love traveling too. So you may very well give me more advice than I give you. The NeighborhoodBrooklyn is a very friendly neighbourhood, with great shopkeepers and well-maintained colonial houses. The village has great takeaways, a pharmacy, library, superette, the legendary Penthouse Cinema which plays off-stream movies, and one of Wellington's best suburban gastro-pubs - The Salty Pidgin. And it's all three minutes walk from the house. Getting AroundThere's bus stops literally at the letterbox during the week, and in the weekend you just have to walk down to the village for a bus, or you can walk through Central Park to town in 25 minutes where you might begin by exploring alternative Cuba St. I've added some suggestions to the 'listing location' below. Or if you have a car there is free parking outside. Easy. Wellington CBD also has free parking in the weekends for up to two hours. Wellington CBD is very close, so typically you'll only pay between 10-15NZD for a taxi to the house. I recommend KIWI Cabs: +(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). Other Things to NoteThere's 40 steps up to the house (that's a common Wellington thing and why you get amazing views) but I'm happy to help you with your bags.

The SpaceWelcome to Newtown, Wellington! Your warm private room features a comfortable queen size bed with a desk and chair, a wall cupboard to hang clothes, and free broadband WiFi. We also have a spare laptop available to lend you if you require a machine. The room's changed a little since that photo was taken - no TV but come through and watch TV in the living room, where there's a table to eat at. Our flat is on the 4th floor, with access to our floor by an external ramp leading to a veranda shared with 3 other flats. We are an end flat overlooking both Newtown and Wellington City. We do not have a lift but access via the ramp is easy. Amenities include drying lines on the ground floor, and a ground floor car port allowing off-street parking. We are double glazed providing insulation against noise and making for a warm room with no draughts! The block is situated on a hill overlooking Wellington, Newtown, and the town belt. We're on the edge of Newtown/Beramphore which our suburbs of Wellington, and you can see the harbour in the distance from your window. Newtown has 2 supermarkets 10-15 minutes walk away. There are a lot of shops and restaurants with value for money ethnic food along with NZ-style food. There are also at least 4 nice cafe/pubs in the area as well that serve craft beers as well as coffee and are in easy staggering distance. We're located close to Wellington city centre, just 20-25 minutes by a choice of frequent local buses. Taxis can cost as little as NZ$15. You can also walk over the hill tops along the town belt into Wellington - a walk with great panoramic views. We're a friendly couple, but also understand if you like solitude. We can help you plan your trip, but with Internet in your room you'd be well able to find out about Wellington and New Zealand without too much trouble. After the Christchurch earthquakes, councils around New Zealand have assessed buildings to determine their earthquake readiness. Our building has been assessed as earthquake prone. This means that it only conforms to part of the earthquake standards that apply to more modern buildings. There are 6-700 other similar buildings in Wellington. Private dwellings are exempt from assessment. On a positive note, we survived well a recent 6.6 scale earthquake with no structural damage. In addition, our windows were upgraded two years ago to be earthquake proof and will not shatter nor drop out onto people outside! The SpaceCosy room in a beautiful heritage building in the heart of Newtown. The comfortable bed will sleep 2 people. There is some wardrobe space to hang clothing. Guest AccessCheck in from approx. 3 pm./flexible Check out approx. 11 am/flexible. You will have a key so you can come and go as you like, and I will make sure you can get in touch with me at any time if required. You can cook a small meal in my kitchen if required. My bathroom has a bath as well as a shower. There is a TV in the open living/dining room – channel by negotiation. :-) Interaction with GuestsA light breakfast, consisting of Muesli, two different types of Yoghurt, toast and a choice of jam, peanut butter etc. as well as fruit, fruit juices and a choice of different teas, is complimentary. This also is a good time to help you with any questions you may have about the area or anything else. Let me know if you prefer something else for breakfast, such as eggs, or porridge. This is all negotiable!! I am self employed and work part time in the city. I will make sure you will be able to get hold of me any time, if required. Besides English I speak Dutch and a small amount of German and French. I have many years of experience hosting visitors from different countries. The NeighborhoodNewtown is a colourful suburb very close to the city and beaches. It has numerous cafes and restaurants, a supermarket, the Wellington Zoo, the hospital and many walkways in the town belt. Getting AroundParking is on the street. There are about 4 or 5 (sometimes 6 or 7) different buses going regularly to the city, the railway station, other suburbs and a number of beaches. Town is a 25–35 minute walk. From the airport there is a bus to the city (or Kilbirnie - ask the driver!) from where you can catch any of a number of buses to Newtown. I am also only a short taxi or shuttle ride from the airport. Other Things to NoteMy home is one of 4 apartments in a heritage building. Most of the time the (mostly young) neighbours are quiet and thoughtful. It is on the main road and there is a fair amount of traffic, however it is relatively quiet after 11pm and before 7am. The apartment is on the second floor. There are a few steps to climb, there is no lift! Although there is a washing machine to do a small amount of washing, there is no dryer, so timing is of an essence. However, there is a laundromat across the road, just 2 minutes away. The discounted price for extended stays is for a maximum of 4 weeks.

The SpaceThis is my large master bedroom in my own property that I don't advertise often. I have a dog, Al, that I'd rather not put in a kennel while I'm away for the said dates. He's a very friendly and affectionate, well-trained huntaway. So if you're interested send me a message to discuss. You can't be full-time employed and you'd need to be prepared to take on some of the house duties in my absence. I'd prefer someone with references and you'd need to stay the whole period advertised. Otherwise all the rest of the details of this listing stand. And you'd be getting a real cheap but lovely room - with Dog duties. Be prepared to be sad when you leave - everyone who stays falls in love with Al! The house is a character villa just up the road from Brooklyn Shops on Todman St. The room has just been renovated and consists of a near new very comfy queen bed, one wardrobe, drawers, desk, and chair, micathermic heater and a huge 42" plasma smart TV with internet connected (YouTube, Browser, etc). There's some cabinets and bits and pieces that I'll have to leave in the room but that don't take up much space. It also has a basin and vanity unit (with cold water only) which is super handy. The room is very sunny and overlooks the deck and native bush with no nearby neighbours so is very private. The house is very private and sheltered and gets sun all day. There are also lots of Tui, Kaka and other native birds flying about, a large sunny deck out front over-looking the harbour, and a paved courtyard out back which leads down to a yard. There may well be some of my things left in the room but it will be cleaned and tidy with fresh sheets and towels. Interaction with GuestsI'm always happy to share a drink and a meal if you wish. The SpaceMy beautiful house is not huge, but it's cosy and I love furnishing it with art and trinkets from my travels. It *is* pretty much city living, so there can be a bit of street noise, but your room is away from the street, so you shouldn't hear much (if anything). Guest AccessYour bedroom is private, with a queen sized bed that I've been assured is very comfortable. The room is fully furnished and has a wardrobe. I also provide sheets and towels, so you have everything you need. There's only one bathroom, so we'd be sharing. It has a nice spa bath and separate shower with body wash, shampoo etc. The lounge has a nice gas fireplace that keeps the house really warm. I have a full laundry in the courtyard out the back which you are welcome to use, with washing powder etc. A self service continental breakfast of muesli, toast, preserves tea & coffee is available and you'll have full access to the kitchen facilities and BBQ outside. Interaction with GuestsI live there! But I am often out and about. I'm at work from 8.30am-5.30pm-ish but often stay in town for dinner and drinks. Weekends, I'm there more and enjoy relaxing in the courtyard or watching movies and reading. I'm pretty social, but also happy to keep to myself so am more than happy to hang out or leave you to it. I am a huge fan of Wellington, so really happy to point you in any direction you are interested in and hopefully some lesser known things. The NeighborhoodMy house is close to everything. Newtown is super funky and in most countries would still be considered city center. There's a vege market at the school down the road every Saturday, an amazing Mexican restaurant (which is actually a caravan), heaps of nice restaurants, bars, cafes and quite eclectic shops in the immediate area. The zoo is also in Newtown, and in virtually any direction you walk, you wind up on one of the beautiful walking tracks through the bush surrounding the city. If you get to the city, it's packed with awesome. From the waterfront to the entertainment area, pretty much if I know what you're into, I can point you in the right direction. Getting AroundBus stops within a hop, skip and a jump. There is parking all along the street, but it's first in first served. Its normally empty in weekends, and Ive never struggled with getting a park. You can also get a $10-$15 taxi from town or just walk (I generally just walk). Uber has now launched in Welly, which means it's even cheaper! * The National Museum of NZ (Te Papa) – 25 mins walk, 10 mins bus. * Cuba Street (the centre of Wellington and a great place for a meal or night out) – 20 mins walk, 10 mins bus. * Courtenay Place (Wellington’s entertainment centre) – 20 mins walk, 10 mins bus. * The Wellington Airport – 10 minutes taxi ride (approx $25.00 - stupid airport taxes). * Mount Victoria Lookout (fantastic 360 degree view) – 30 mins walk, 5 mins taxi. You can walk via the beautiful town belt too * South Island Ferry Terminal – 20 mins bus, 10 mins taxi. * The railway station – 25 mins direct bus ride. * The Zoo - 15 mins walk Other Things to NoteThe big one is I like to have my doors locked overnight (and actually I normally lock them while Im in the house - every now and then there's a random burglary in the area while someone is at home). If you go out, please lock all doors and windows and turn the alarm on. This is my home and I want to feel safe there. It just feels like common sense to me, but often I come home to find my guests have gone out and left everything unlocked, so have got a lot more strict about it! Feel free to come and go as you please. Make yourself at home in the common areas, including kitchen staples, wifi, TV, etc. However, please clean up after yourself. If you dirty dishes, clean them or stack them. I keep my house pretty tidy and think its best for everyone if we all leave common areas as we found them. The only other thing I'd ask is only the confirmed guests come here, unless we discuss in advance having your friends over to visit :)

The Space**From 5 - 21 December this is private double room only (not entire place) and is a 2 person maximum occupancy.** **Christmas Holidays 2016/17** Please note: We are making our own bedroom (master) available during the Christmas period from 22 December - 8 January, thus allowing 2 double rooms (4 people). There will be no use of the master wardrobe as our things will still be in it. But you will have the entire place to yourselves! During this period you are asked to leave the place as found and will be required to make up your own bed upon arrival and strip the bed before departure. It's our little sanctuary. It's cozy, and the big windows in every room make it nice and bright. The morning to early afternoon sun makes starting the day off right a breeze. You'll find us on the top floor of a duplex, so a look out the living room window will make you feel like you're the king of the world. Look out over the city, take in both harbour and bay views, and catch a glimpse of the War Memorial. The views alone won't disappoint. The views do require us to be up atop a hill and there are also some additional steps up to our second floor flat of the duplex. It's a fabulous and leisurely downhill walk into town BUT you might work up a sweat coming back and climbing uphill. This isn't so bad because once you've arrived, you'll have your own spacious private room, your own double door closet, and a lovely double bed to relax in. The fluffy pillows and blankets are hypoallergenic to accommodate all needs, and the towels soft and fluffy. You'll find a large sized bathroom right across the hall. Feel free to do some laundry too. There's a lawn outside if you want to lay out and enjoy the weather, or a midday snack, with nature all around, there's even a movable patio set to enjoy. We keep our home clean and tidy, always smelling fresh and we've invested in a dehumidifier for those rainy days. The rest of the time, the place smells like baking... Guest AccessGuests are welcome to one private parking space and unlimited wifi. Run of the house. We want you to feel like (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), or friends/family, coming to visit. Don't be shy and make yourself at home. That means you can go ahead and do some laundry with access to the washer/dryer and/or clothesline. Feel free to ask for the iron too! Enjoy the comfy couch in our living space or cook up some food in the kitchen. The kitchen appliances and cookware are at your disposal. Towels, shampoo, soap, blow dryer, etc. are all available too. Interaction with GuestsAs much as you want or as little as you need! The NeighborhoodYou'll obsess about the views. You'll be sheltered from those southerly winds, and you'll get to enjoy a scenic walk (20 minutes) through Central Park into the City. It is about a 30 - 35 minute walk right into the center of CBD (where you'll find shopping, pubs, restos, museum, and the waterfront) Brooklyn Village is super friendly with all the necessary shops, has a few great food spots, and even a renown Cinema. Make sure to check out The Windmill! You'll be rewarded with more stunning views and you'll be able to tell your friends and family you reached one of Welly's peaks. You can even count it as your 'leg day' and skip the gym. Getting AroundTake the 20 minute scenic walk through Central Park right to the city. Willis Street will guide you to the city center (about 10 minutes further), wherever you need to go. Not in the mood to walk up the hill back home? Take the bus to our place. Grab the 8 (does not run on weekends) or the 7 (10-min walk up a fairly steep hill from Brooklyn). If you've got yourself a car, great, we've got private parking. Other Things to NoteDid we mention the views? Then there's the parks, the greenbelt, and all the nature. If you're into hiking at all, this is your paradise! If you are looking to be 5 minutes to and from the nightlife then we don't recommend staying here. Brooklyn is just just outside the CBD, and Uber is the best way to get around after 11pm (unless it's summer and you like a good walk)

The SpaceI have a very small single bedroom available in my Character Cottage in Newtown, Wellington. Your accommodation is fully furnished. If you are arriving by car, parking is on the street which can be challenging to find during the day due to the cottage being so close to the hospital. Usually no problem at night and on the weekends. The cottage features a sunny private courtyard for mornings and early afternoon, and there is a barbeque. The front verandah is also great for catching the afternoon sun and watching the world go by. Access from the street is a step up to the verandah then it is all one level. The shower is over a small shub bath so requires a step over the bath edge. Newtown is a multicultural suburb, between the airport and Wellington CBD. There is an abundance of cafes and ethnic restaurants and a great bus service. In one direction is the South Coast, in the other the City and Harbour. Nothing is too far away. I love Wellington and am happy to help out with directions and tips. I really enjoy sharing what a wonderful place it is. I was born in Wellington but usually live in the north of England with some time spent back in Wellington. There is a double room available too so you will either have the cottage to yourself or be sharing with a maximum of 2 other AirBnBers. Guest AccessThe only areas not available to guests are the other bedroom and the shed. There is a separate lounge at the front of the house and a kitchen / dining space beside the single bedroom. Bathroom and separate toilet are at the rear of the house. Interaction with GuestsI keep in contact with guests via messages and may see them if I am at the cottage - I stay elsewhere. Whether by email or in person I am always happy to give tips on enjoying Wellington, I love the City and surrounds. The NeighborhoodNewtown is unique. It has a diverse community. The immediate neighbours are friendly. There are cafes nearby, bars, low cost ethnic restaurants and services such as banks. Getting AroundBus service is frequent and close by and there are routes available in various directions. Other Things to NoteThere is also a double room offered to guests so there may be other travellers in the cottage when you stay. If you would like to look at the listing it is Double Room in Character Cottage.

The SpaceOur lovely house is available while we are away for a couple of weeks. This is a family home rather than a 5 star hotel. But unlike a hotel, it has everything that you could need for a longer stay from DVDs and playstation games to a slow cooker and fancy juicer. From 500 books to board games and kids toys. Our house is in a sunny spot tucked away from the road and sheltered from the famous Wellington wind. It is down a driveway with parking by the house and unlike most houses with a view in Wellington, has no steps to contend with :-) The house is completely private behind a large gate and you would never guess that you are a 5 minute drive from the middle of New Zealand's capital city. There is a fenced garden surrounding the house that is safe for children and a large (steep) garden of bush and trees to explore. Our one-level home has two double bedrooms (one king bed and one double) with fitted wardrobes and a spare single mattress that can also be used. There are two modern bathrooms with a shower in one and a bath and washing machine and tumble-drier in the other. The new and very modern kitchen has a large fridge-freezer, oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and all the pots, pans, crockery, cutlery etc you could ever need. There is also a juicer, slow cooker, fancy cake mixer, sandwich toaster etc. The kitchen is part of a large open-plan kitchen-diner-playroom-lounge that looks out over the mountains and down to Wellington harbour. It's got a super comfy large leather sofa and a ton of books, DVDs and toys. The lounge has a wall of floor to ceiling windows as well as a large skylight so is very light and airy. Heating is really important to us Brits who are used to central heating :-) Our lounge has a gas heater and a heat pump and each bedroom has an oil heater. Guest AccessWe have shut off one small bedroom so that all of our crap can be hidden away and you can stay in the lovely clean and tidy house that we would love to live in all of the time :-) Fully equipped family home inc: Private parking Full kitchen inc. dishwasher. Fully-stocked larder cupboard. Entertainment area inc. stereo, TV and Playstation (plays DVDs). Wii. DVDs, books, playstation games, CDs. Apple TV. Wifi Gas heater, heat pump and oil radiators Wraparound deck (kid safe) Cot High chair Small table and 2 kids chairs Toybox Interaction with GuestsWe will be on holiday so the house and garden are all yours to enjoy. The NeighborhoodBrooklyn is one of Wellington's loveliest suburbs. It has a lovely village feel with a fab restaurant/bar, cafe, art-deco cinema, hairdressers, video-store, dairy and library. It is perfectly situated between the CBD and the beach and on the doorstep of the Brooklyn wind turbine to red rocks walkway and mountain bike tracks. Getting AroundWe are on the number 8 bus route into the city and have off street parking right outside the front door and away from the road. Other Things to NoteWe will give preference to longer stays

We are very close to Wellington Hospital, Massey University, Te Whaea National Dance and Drama School, Basin Reserve, Newtown shopping (including large supermarkets), local cinemas (Brooklyn and Island Bay). We live in a quiet neighbourhood with trees and native birds in abundance.
