Likewise, beds used in addition to the confirmed tariff will be charged accordingly. Our cancellation policy, as per our website, is as follows: Please appreciate that unlike larger establishments with multiple rooms, the cottage is boutique accommodation for which a cancellation represents 100% loss of occupancy, which is very difficult to recover at short notice. For cancellations made within 14 days of arrival a fee of 50% of the total accommodation cost will apply (unless we are able to rebook). For cancellations made within 7 days of arrival a fee of 100% of the total accommodation cost will apply (unless we are able to rebook). Failure to arrive on the due date or cancelled days after arrival will be charged at 100%. For an unavoidable change in dates, the deposit will happily be transferred to the new dates – this is subject to availability and is valid for a period of three months from the original booking date. As we are surrounded by working farms, Little Bunda Cottage is unable to welcome pets of any kind – we regret that no exceptions can be made. Rosewood Cottage is also unsuitable for pets. Dandaleith Boarding Kennels (ph: 0269 215 008) and Wagga Boarding Kennels (0269 285 512) both provide a quality accommodation service for travelling pets. A romantic escape for couples, business professionals love the peace and quiet, and families adore the affordable luxury and space. We welcome children and love their enthusiasm for Gordon, Eeyore and the horses. We especially enjoy introducing our guests to the beautiful quality local and regional products that feature in our cottages. Sample award-winning wines at Charles Sturt University's cellar door across the paddock, savour fine regional cuisine on the other side of our hill at Magpies Nest Restaurant, or go for a drive in the country and visit Green Grove Organic's chocolate and licorice factory down the road at Junee. Don your best frock and fascinator for Fashions on the Field at the annual Wagga Gold Cup, pick up some local talent at Art on the Levee or how about the Wagga Farmers Markets for fresh produce, flowers and handmade soaps? The SpaceOur cottage is a unique destination in Wagga (featured in a Banjo Patterson poem), wrapped up with the city's early colonial history and is filled with personality. However, guest comfort is our main priority. We have two quality king singles in one room and a really comfortable queen size bed in the other bedroom. We can provide a mattress and linen for any additional guests for a small fee. The cottage was once the kitchen and maid's quarters to the main homestead and so has a large, well equipped eat-in kitchen. Guests can also enjoy a barbecue in the garden with peacocks wandering through. We have chooks and a vege and herb garden. We provide a simple, delicious breakfast of homemade bread and jams, locally roasted ground coffee, cereal, etc. Guests seem to love the peace and privacy by the river while being so close to the city. Guest AccessThe cottage provides two bedrooms (connected by a door), a sitting room, a large eat-in kitchen, modern bathroom, an extra outdoor toilet, and a large paved area outside with table, chairs and barbecue. Guests are also welcome to do their laundry. Interaction with GuestsWe are very conscious that guests love their privacy and we ensure they do have their space, however we are not too far away in our house if they need anything and we always try to meet guests on arrival. The NeighborhoodOur area is special because of the Murrumbidgee River which flows through our valley. Our area is also developing a foodie style of tourist industry, including a couple of wineries and good restaurants in our immediate neighbourhood. It is a productive valley for agriculture including cropping and grazing as well as grape, olive, pistachio and orchard growers. Getting AroundEven though we are an easy taxi ride from Wagga, we don't tend to get guests without cars because we don't have public transport going past. Being a farm, there's plenty of parking and we are willing to have overnight visitors of the horse variety.
